Tiszta, rendezett, jó helyen van, kedves személyzet.

Nagyon közel van mindenhez, egyaránt a vasútállomáshoz viszont nem zavaróan hangos, közel van a sétány, a belváros szívében van. A kikötő és part is nagyon közel van.

There was not a Terrace or a big window to see the external place. The external view is not amazing. The bed is little for 2 people

Did not get what we paid for and after had to deal with the rude yelling owner

Before everything went bad in the end, the start was good - the place is clean and hotel has a pretty good location. The girl in the reception was sweet.

Long story short: The airconditioner costs 7€ extra per day. The second day the aircon stopped working and it was +34C outside. (It is impossible to stay in the room in this temperature without aircon, it was like sauna) We were told we can get a new room, which we did not get… There was no solution for us to stay and get the heat stroke, so we booked a new hotel and we were told we can ask money back for the unused night from booking.com. We left the Sleeping Sailor and later when I asked the money back for the unused night, the unpolite owner first wrote me super rude messages and then when I asked him to call me for better communication, he yelled to me on the phone that he will not give back anything and if I write them a bad review, he will call the police about me. He indeed also told I could come back and get a discount for my another stay, but after his very scary behaviour I think I would rather sleep under the bridge than ever go back here.

Room was nicely designed, but on the small side. It was great for one night stay. Bathroom was also small, but very nicely done.

Size of the room (fine for a short stay, but may feel too small for longer stays). It would be nice to provide a kettle with the room.

Excellent service, spotless room, everything exceeded my expectation. I will return and highly recommend this hotel to everybody. It is small and friendly, a home away from home.

Very pleasant & comfortable stay

Great location, in the centre near train & bus stations. Tourist info, bakeries and our new favourite restaurant (Roxy) only a few steps away. Sleeping Sailor has clean and neat rooms, was recently renovated and is absolutely perfect for our 2 night stay during our tour around the Balaton! The beds are very comfortable and the aircon/heater is really appreciated during cold winter nights. Franky, the friendly owner, welcomed us and showed us around whilst patiently answering all our questions! We would love to come back in summer :-)
