AVOID, awful. I’m not one for complaining but this place is horrible and we left and went to a hotel instead.

Nothing AVOID THIS PROPERTY UNCLEAN

Avoid this apartment. The photos make it look very nice but in reality the place is much smaller and very dark not much window light. The place is run down as well kitchen cupboards don’t close marks all on walls etc. however I could have dealt with all of this. The main issue is that this property is not cleaned. We arrived and it smelt of weed in the property and the bathroom had a strange smell. We then moved a tiny piece of furniture to make room for our travel cot and found chewing gum and cigarette butts on the floor. In the kitchen nothing was clean glasses had lipstick and finger prints on them. Cutlery was dirty and some had blood on it. I notified them straight away that I was not happy with the cleanliness of the apartment especially with a 4 month old baby. And asked to be moved- they didn’t have any other apartments free but said they could send a cleaner round in the morning. I explained this wasn’t a suitable option as I did not feel for health reasons it was safe to stay in this property with a baby. So I asked if they could refund me and I would find alternative accommodation for 2 nights. They refused to do this and have continued to charge us- even though we checked out 1-2hours later and moved to a hotel. It’s not an expensive stay so I could have dealt with it being small and the large amount of wear and tear. However you expect a place to be clean as a bare minimum and this was not. And from looking at other reviews I can see I’m not the only person who has had this complaint which makes me think they are not addressing the issue

Nice clean apartment in good location

Location was good for a night out in Kelham. Apartment bright and airy and clean.

Wrong code given for keys. Waited on hold for 5 mins with no answer. Another guest arrived with correct code.

Excellent apartment thanks to comfy large bed and good facilities - comms a little

+ Apartment was nicely appointed, spacious and clean + Large comfy bed very welcome + Decent ktichen and living area + Good shower + Very good sheets + Quality TV set

- Communication with host was annoying... I don't know who they're trying to impress with their use of 'youth slang' for functional communication... - Instructions for key collection are mulit layered like the crystal maze, would not want to be doing that when tired! - No contact with staff other than cleaner who was v nice - Charges 10pounds per hour for late checkouts which we needed but it's a little draconian - Having to pay using their web interface is a little annoying

Good potential let down by poor cleanliness.

Good location. Nice apartment in general. Good check in process.

Shower facilities were disgusting. Shower heads and walls full of mould. Extractor fan clearly blocked causing further damp and mould.

Perfect for group stays

The cleanliness of the apartment was impeccable, the apartment itself had everything we needed including towels for the shower, fresh linen, cleaning products etc to upkeep the cleanliness. The apartment felt homely and cosy, the security of the building created a sense of added safety and privacy.

This was a good place to stay for us having not stayed in Sheffield before.

Location was good. Appartment was clean and tidy. It was a quiet and clean area to stay in which was important because we hadn’t stayed here before.

Could have done with a tea towel and maybe a microwave. The blinds need to be updated they aren’t easy to access and use and didn’t block out light. It didn’t help that the windows are not easily accessible to let fresh air in, and that may well be a necessary drawback of being a converted chapel.

Cute and Cosy

Really easy to access the property. Directions provided made it easy to find. Everything was explained clearly and given in a timely fashion. There wasn't an overload of information, it was clear and concise. The host were excellent at responding with 10mins. The apartments were within walking distance to town, if you're a walker also right by transport links of tram and bus, so caters to everyone. There is also a Tesco round te corner which made it easy to stock up on food or anything I wanted for the apartment.

On the booking site it said check in between 4- 8. My colleague wanted to book her own apartment but was put off by that time as she was getting into Sheffield after 10pm, So I wondered if it's all self service to get the keys and get into the building why is there such a small window for check in. For anyone staying in the colder months you definitely need to pull the sofa away from the wall and from being under the window but once I done that the apartment felt cosy again.

Well situated apartment for Kelham Island

The apartment was just what we required. It's well placed for the attractions of Kelham Island and with easy access into the city.

There is parking available on the streets close to the apartment but it's first come first served.

Fantastic…clean comfortable and excellent location

Constant contact with hosts Key collection was easy and flawless Requests and issues were met immediately and couldn’t do enough to make us happy Fantastic hosts and excellent location and building and communal areas spotless and very plush And our bed was large and very comfy and the sofa bed was extremely comfortable Highly recommend the hosts

I enjoyed my stay but if I could pick at one thing it would only be proper glassware and plate sets But this is just me being picky

I would recommend family and friends to stay at this apartment. Kelham is a nice and quiet area.

I am particular about the kitchen when I came to stay at an apartment, this apartment met my expectation. The utensils were all clean. I feel comfortable using them.

Clean, spacious, comfortable and great value for money.

The apartment was large and spacious. It had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable. Very good value for money.

The lounge was grungy, but comfortable. The front door was awkward to lock if you didn’t know how. Suggest they put a short instruction set inside the door, so users know to lift the handle upward to enable locking it. Otherwise all good.

Very pleasant overall, but kitchen utensils were a bit dirty

- Three floors - Spacious bedrooms - TVs - Good showers - Lots of bathrooms, mostly en-suite - Close to the city centre, reasonably close to supermarkets - Open living space and good kitchen (if confusing at first) - Comfortable beds - Suitable furniture - Modern, pleasant aesthetic

- Lots of the kitchen equipment was visibly dirty: some pots and pans had old bits of food caked on them; the colander had food in it; the cake tin appeared to have cheese stuck to it. It was all easy to wash off, but unpleasant to deal with. - Only one chopping board - Lack of tissues or kitchen roll - The main sofa had a large dent in it which was uncomfortable to sit on - One of the mains sockets in the living room did not work; one could plug in things, but no power was received - The first floor TV remote did not work; there was no way to turn the TV on - The area around was a bit industrial - The ground floor room facing the street had a missing blind, which was a bit of a privacy concern - The ground floor clock didn’t work

The apartment is very cosy and perfect for a few day stay. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, plates, pots, etc. The location is quite nice and there's a convenience store nearby

Advertised free parking is only free on certain times a day, hence you either need to move the car constantly or pay for parking. Hence, the advertisement for free parking is misleading and cost us extra without prior knowledge

Specious, clean, warm, and exclusive.

It was very clean and modern looking apartment. Everything was there like hairdryer, microwave, bowls, fridge, even Netflix. The bed was very big and comfy.

Nothing. Just a shame we stayed when there was a construction going in the morning next to the apartment.

Location was good. Communication was good .

Apartment needed some work - scuffs on walls, wires exposed, stains on sofa and carpets etc Quite cold and no visible way of adjusting. P ( for parking) sign very misleading - parking on street only and couldn't find any space near. We selected the apartment for the parking so this was disappointing.

Central location was fantastic but even then, value for money is really poor.

My extended family and I were attending my daughter's wedding on Kelham Island. The location was perfect! As Father of the Bride, I was close to the bridal party. My family were within walking distance to/from the ceremony and to the reception.

This property is uncared for and the owners are remote and generally uncontactable. Feels like a "party' venue rather than one for families. Fittings felt cheap. Sleeps eight yet there is comfortable seating only for four in the main reception and the sofa is busted at one end, down to the hard frame. Convector heating is inadequate for a stone built chapel and did not work at all in the main reception room. TVs in all five main rooms but remote controls available only in two, General upkeep poor: incomplete crockery and place settings (we had three forks for eight capacity).

Unnecessarily clunky booking process

Comfortable bed.

The overpowering smell of cannabis that permeated the whole place. Drab decor. The excessively clunky booking procedure with damage deposit added after full payment and then messy time consuming formal I'd verification that was very badly set out online.

Carpet in the bedroom was dirty and marked. We couldn't make the wall heater work in the bedroom and fortunately happened to find a small portable heater in the wardrobe, which again was difficult to operate without instructions.
