This property exceeded our expectations on every level. Perfect amount of space for our family of 5. Access to the beach is right across the street and the property came with everything we needed for an entire day at the beach: wagon, tent, chairs, coolers, so many towels, and beach toys for the kids.
Within 5 minutes of being there we saw three Manatee's in the bay off of our balcony. It is conveniently located near shopping, food, and attractions, and was very easy to find from the Tampa airport.
Another bonus was having the huge rooftop terrace all to ourselves that we could watch the sunset from, see the ocean, and relax and stare at the stars at night.
I would absolutely recommend this property and would stay here again if we return to the area.

Penthouse Madeira beach is awesome! Very clean, very well kept nice place. They have beach towels and beach chairs and toys for the kids to take to the beach! The 360 beach view is awesome and plenty of private chairs outside! Plenty of space with 7 people we all had our own space and privacy! Only issue and it wasn't that big of a deal is the air. It has to be kept at 72 degrees. As someone who likes to sleep at 66 degrees it took some getting used to. But as I stated not a big deal and would not stop me from booking in the future! They also had plenty of fans available. Awesome vacation! Awesome place!

We chose this condo because of wheelchair access and location. There is a wheelchair access shower. that you can roll right into. The doorways throughout the condo were wide enough for the wheelchair. All we really had to do was show up with our clothes and food, everything else was furnished. The beds were comfortable. It was a perfect place for our vacation!

I couldn’t have been more happy with the property. It was very spacious. This was our first family vacation since adding a son-in-law‘s and grandchildren. We really enjoyed our view the convenience of the property being right in the middle of everything and literally the beach right across the street, waking up in the morning looking at the intercoastal was beautiful watching the sunrise. Our family young and old enjoyed this trip

The penthouse is a beautiful place to stay! We enjoyed the terrace and the view of the ocean and bay were amazing. Manatees visited the bay daily and we were able to get some great pictures!
For our trips to the beach we were provided towels, chairs, coolers, umbrella and a cart to put everything in!
Holly and Nick are wonderful hosts and were great to work with. They go above and beyond to provide things to make your stay enjoyable. We had a fantastic stay and can't wait to visit again!!

Our family had a wonderful experience at the penthouse! The rental is very clean and Holly was easy to communicate with and she responded very quickly! The amenities cannot be beat! If you are looking for a beach vacation, this is the perfect place. The beach wagon, chairs, towels, and kitchen supplies were fantastic. Will definitely recommend and hopefully stay here again!

Condo was very nice. Many times the pictures on the internet do not match the condition of the condo. Not this one. Excellent shape. The condo was stocked with the essentials- towels (including beach towels), paper towels, toilet paper- and even salt and pepper. And the balcony/patio- the largest I have ever had a rental. Views of the ocean and the bay. I cannot say enough good things about this rental! We will definitely rent again!

We had a wonderful stay at the Penthouse in Madeira Beach! It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable! I have never in my life had everything you could possibly need be provided! I’m serious. Everything for the beach or personal needs. Chairs, umbrellas, huge tents, toys, etc, I could go on..Literally, everything!! It is in a great location, it is so roomy, the master bedroom is so spacious. Everyone has their space and privacy. There are balconies and rooftop terrace galore!!! And awesome views!!! Do not hesitate!!!

The penthouse had EVERYTHING you would need for a great vacation from the kitchen supplies to the beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, sand toys , beach towels coolers and soooo on! You literally need nothing for the beach they have it all!
The beds and bedding were absolutely wonderful! Supplies from bathroom shampoos, conditioner, body wash, toilet paper and so on ! AGAIN , they have EVERYTHING you need! Plenty of bath towels too!
The balconies were three! ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!
This Penthouse is huge so if you want your space while staying together you definitely will have it!
Close to John’s pass with many restaurants along the way to walk or drive. The cafe below in the same building was wonderful, the food and service was great!
We have stayed on Maderia beach since 2015 and this is our Favorite from here on out! Our New “ Happy Place I” in Mad Beach!

We enjoyed staying at this property! The location was great, the property was a good size for us and it was very well stocked with supplies. We brought beach chairs and umbrellas but the unit had plenty for all of us and a cart to haul them to the beach. It was close to plenty of restaurants and shops.

Great location very close to the beach. It was about a 2 minute walk. The condo we stayed in had enough beach toys, chairs, umbrellas and coolers for the group as well as a wagon for the beach. Beautiful beach boasting wonderful sunsets that you can see from the balcony!
We enjoyed the stay. The condo was clean and comfortable. There is a restaurant across the street on the beach that came in handy. We ordered lunch on the beach a couple days. And had dinner as well. We visited a cute ice cream shop walking distance as well.
There's a coffee shop that sits right in front of the condominium complex named the Sweet brunette that place is amazing! You have got to check it out. I had a latte everyday!

Property was amazing, perfect description…. Loved the extra trundle in master so that we didn’t have to double up sleeping arrangements as much…. Loved that there was some necessities included- garbage bags, TP, paper towel, shampoo etc. will definitely stay again if we come back to this area! Thank you also for beach chairs and wagon made for an exceptional experience all around!

We LOVED the penthouse - views were amazing from every balcony/rooftop!! They had everything we needed for the beach and kitchen. Pool was heated. Communication was great. Easy access to the beach. We also loved the organic coffee shop Sweet Brunette below !! Will be back!!

Spent 5 days at this property. From a rental perspective it was well thought out and had many priceless amenities that made it a perfect beach getaway: fully stocked beach wagon, plethora of towels, sand toys. The manatee thst visited the waterway on east side of the house twice during the visit was an added bonus. Beach is close by and so are basics like restaurants and grocery store.
The road noise is not great, but merely serves as an inconvenient backdrop to an otherwise wonderful experience, serving to make use of the outside terrace less frequent.
Thank you for a wonderful vacation base that provided many indelible family memories.

Responsive owner and convenient location
This place was spacious and convenient to a private beach access. The views were great from multiple balconies and parking was fine although it was not assigned. There are opportunities for improvement. Air Conditioning is finicky. Storage for clothes and such is haphazard. The keypad for the door is touchy and doesn’t always work. The roads are loud and you hear everything, but that is true all up and down Gulf Blvd. just turn on white noise on your phone. Overall it was a positive experience and a great, responsive owner makes all the difference.

Family Vacation
Beautiful location, great space, easy check in. Went with my family and my parents and had a wonderful time. Location was easy access to the beach, and John’s Pass, there was plenty of room for 6 adults. Only a few hiccups, the accessible bathroom with roll in shower is very small, and there isn’t much space for navigating a power chair, but we made it work. Power flickered in and off one afternoon, and caused the oven to stop working. Holly was immediately available and quick to offer solutions, and had a maintenance person out the next day to fix the oven. We would definitely stay here again! There were also beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, boards, and a buggy to haul it all to the beach!

Not the worse but not the best!
Overall the property was ok. Location was perfect and the people we met at the property were all very nice. Loved the fishing poles that were available. and the size was great. Plenty of equipment for the beach which was very nice.
Things we did not like was that half of the condo was without AC. Making it uncomfortable to sleep and hangout in. We called the property manager and emailed but didnt get a response until it was time to leave. The Elevator was down due to the botton being broke on the floor so that was not a fun hike up to the 5th floor.
Cooking was not the best as the pots an pans are not the best and things were getting burnt even on low temps.
The floor was dirty, I took my shoes off and within 20 minutes the bottom of my feet were black.
Upon leaving we stayed an helped the cleaning lady get the place cleaned up and took all our trash and stripped our beds. She was very very nice to us and allowed us to walk across the street to the beach to take pictures before we loaded our car.
The views from every angle was AMAZING. If I forgot to mention that!
But the AC deff needs fixed and maybe a new unit installed so that the guest are not restricted to your rule of the temps being set at only 72 and it being monitored by the property manager online. I was nervous to crank it down even though half of the house was not working due to the WARNING notes about being charged for the unit if it froze up. But it seems to me that i am not the first to have issues with the AC.
O and before I forget having a set of bunk bed in the master bedroom is deff not a great set up leaving mom and dad with no privacy while on vacation.

Very nice for family. There were five of us so really appreciated three bedrooms and three baths. Also very nice to have access to condiments for cooking.

Property worked great for a group of 6 adults. The location was great, very easy access to beach and restaurants.
Beach chairs, umbrellas and some other beach necessities available. Would suggest using your own umbrellas though if it is windy.

Fantastic
We had a wonderful 3 night stay here in April. The weather was glorious it and it was lovely to enjoy the multiple views from various balconies. The location is fabulous in relation to the beach and the equipment including trolly and chairs was so helpful. The set up with secure gated access to the large terrace is perfect for bringing all the beach stuff back. The coffee shop below serves great coffee but does get busy. The apartment is huge and the black out curtains are very effective. Everything was great about the apartment. My son would say if you could add a smart tv into the twin room it would be perfect!

Large family stay
We have 4 kids. 13, 11, and twin boys 6. This place is huge and the roof top is great to hang out on. Dock is great for fishing. Supper clean and 3 full baths is awsome. We would highly recommend and we will stay again.

Just OK
The “penthouse” condo is quite spacious with a fairly well equipped kitchen. Our reasons for not giving 5 stars….no garbage disposal, rather loud traffic noise from Gulf Blvd & parking lot is shared with Sweet Brewnette cafe, so if you’re returning during peak hours occasional you may have to wait for a customer to leave in order to park. Also mediocre pool area with no umbrellas.

Loads of space
The condo had plenty of room and beautiful kitchen and laundry appliances including a wine cooler! There were also loads of beach toys available including chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, fishing rods, and even a cart to tote it all to the beach. The weather didn't cooperate for us to use the three different rooftop balconies with lovely views of the ocean and the inlet. The beach was beautiful, clean white sand. One of the three bathrooms is handicapped accessible. There is a lovely coffee shop open for breakfast and lunch on the ground floor of the building. The fun shops at John's Pass were within a 20-30 minute walk. There were items in the closet that would be useful to families with young children--like a booster seat.
This unit has tremendous potential, but the building itself (especially the elevator) and the penthouse unit are in need of some deep cleaning. The only access INTO the unit is by way of the elevator (with an expired inspection) since the stairs are locked from the outside.
When the internet went out over the holiday weekend and we also could not turn off the a/c to get heat, e-mails did not get us any reply. But by texting the manager after the holiday weekend, we had quick and complete help.
There was no welcome package in the unit telling us how to find the pool, how to find the closest beach access, etc. and my e-mail asking these questions was never answered. While the ocean is directly across the street, we had to walk past 3 or 4 buildings until we were able to locate beach access. There was no complementary dish soap or dishwasher soap, although the checkout procedure required leaving all the dishes washed and put away. The kitchen pans, while sufficient, could use an upgrade to match what one would expect in a "penthouse." There was considerable street noise since this is at a traffic light on a major street.

A Fantastic Condo!
The condo was wonderful. There was plenty of space, and is in a great location. Was within walking distance to the beach, Johns Pass, and several other places around.
The condo has three balconies, and all of them have great views. There were plenty of towels, pots and pans, and everything you can need to cook in the condo if you choose. It was very clean and overall an awesome place to stay. I won't stay anywhere else when we're in the area!
Holly and Nicholas were terrific hosts. Their communication was top-notch. Don't hesitate to book this place. You won't regret it!

Penthouse Thanksgiving Stay
The place and location was as expected based on the listing. Perfect for what we were looking for. Lots of places within walking distance, including the a beach entrance.
The only thing I would update as the property manager or look into is the listing itself. It is listed as a 4 bedroom and that is used by Vrbo when people filter. This is in fact a 3 bedroom place and that is miss leading if you are to use the Vrbo filters to look for an actual 4 bedroom option and have this pop up (which is what happened to us). We made do with the 3 bedroom since I didn't want to look for another place that was an actual 4 bedroom.
The other thing I would say is that they didn't seem too worried about the ice cube maker/tray completely filling up with water and freezing and then also freezing a layer of water in the bottom draw.
Overall it was a great place to stay with almost everything we were looking for.

Our extended family enjoyed a short vacation to Madeira Beach and loved our stay at Skyline 501! Spacious, private, ample supplies and views of both the intercoastal and ocean! The beach cart, chairs and boogie boards were so helpful and appreciated!! Quick walk to the beach and the coffee shop downstairs were great perks!
