My husband and I stayed the first week of September. We always enjoy bringing our dogs with us. Robert and Corinne thought of everything you could need or want. They had special touches everywhere and so many things to do around the area or just enjoy the views and home. Our dogs loved running around in the fully gated yard. We had a fire each evening and kayaked every day. Sunset Cove is a short kayak away and have great lobster BLT's and music/cocktails in the evening.
I booked this property 9 months prior and we were so looking forward to visiting Rhode Island. It is simply beautiful.

Our stay at this vacation home was absolutely fantastic! The property is a true gem, offering a blend of relaxation and adventure. We really enjoyed the use of the kayaks, exploring the tranquil waters right from the property. The highlight for us was the beautiful screened-in porch overlooking the water, where we enjoyed our meals and relaxed while soaking in the serene views. The hot tub was a perfect way to unwind in the evenings, adding that extra touch of luxury to our stay. If you're looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating escape, this place is it!

Two adults and a dog looking for a 10-day getawary found paradise in Portsmouth. I loved everything from the house to the yard, the views, the grill, the hot tub. I made friends with the neighbors, my dog met a few rabbits. I loved being able to walk down the middle of the street. Oh, the silence! You only hear the breeze thru the trees. Beach and restaurants are an easy walk. Newport is a good 30 minutes away but it is so touristy why not just read a book on one of the two patios or on the Adirondack chairs or just nap on the grass? Unlike other homes I've rented, Robert the owner provided everything I needed so all I had to do was relax and have fun. Trust me, this is the one.

This house is so lovely. If you don't have a good time during your stay, I think that's a you problem. Owner is very helpful. House is clean and well appointed- everything you need and comfortable furniture. I could sit in the screened in porch all week and be happy. Great location to walk to dinner- we barely used our car.

The home is beautiful! It’s on a lake with lots of water activities and 30 minutes to Newport, which worked out great for us. The property is very clean, well stocked and the owners friendly and responsive. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This is the second time we have stayed at Rob and Corinne’s beautiful home and, if possible, it was even better than the first. Upon walking into the house your eyes are drawn to the gorgeous water view in front of you. It is truly a “wow” moment. The house is sparkling clean, well stocked, and beautifully decorated. Furniture and mattresses are comfortable and the owners’ attention to detail is readily apparent. Our sons and daughter-in-laws joined us for the weekend and there was plenty of room for all six of us. The weather was beautiful and afforded us the opportunity to enjoy the amazing screen porch, the beautiful yard and the hot tub. We walked to Sunset Cove for coffee each afternoon and to dinner at nearby restaurants each evening. We can’t wait to return.

We enjoyed our stay immensely over the Thanksgiving holiday. Lovely views from the living area. Close enough to Newport for excursions. Appreciated the items in the kitchen - was able to cook a full Thanksgiving meal. Enjoyed utilizing the games available in the lower level and the hot tub. Would definitely think about returning again.

I can’t say enough good about this home, the owner and our stay. Highly recommend. Beautiful stunning views. Gorgeous house with beautiful decor, little touches and all the amenities and supplies needed. Comfortable beds for sleeping. There isn’t anything to say but grateful for the owners to make this available and for our time spent there. We hope to be back.

The neighborhood was quiet and we sat outside to enjoy the view for breakfast and dinner. The kids had a great time playing fooze ball. Communication with the property manager was helpful and timely. Our family really enjoyed our stay.

We loved seeing the water from so many vantage points. We had a blast even in the rain - kayaking to get coffee and pastries, sitting in the hot tub and taking advantage of the provided puzzles and games. Lots more living space than it looks in pictures. Extremely clean, nicely decorated and tons of amenities. The fenced yard was a bonus. Location made it easy to take side trips. Communication was excellent. Wish the house was for sale 😃

We had a great long weekend here for our girls trip! The property was incredibly clean and the house had everything. We met Robert when we got here and he showed us all around and how to access all the fun stuff like the hot tub, kayaks, and bikes. He told us some cool spots to go and could not have been nicer. My mom, tween daughter and I really enjoyed our stay at this lovely home! The waterfront views are incredible and the comfy screened-in patio quickly became a favorite gathering spot. The hosts were wonderful, the house is fully stocked, and we took advantage of the hot tub, kayaks and bikes! And great location - within striking distance of Newport, Westport, and Somerset. We’d love to stay here again!

The house was just as beautiful as the photos and we loved the location! We walked through the neighborhood to the beach everyday. The house is a short drive to Newport where we spent most of our days. Loved the backyard and the hot tub! The renters were very responsive and helpful. Would absolutely rent again!

My husband and I stayed here with our two daughters. The hosts were very accommodating by providing two travel cribs for us. Our toddler loved running around in the backyard while we prepared dinner on the grill. The weather was a bit chilly and windy, but the hot tub was perfect for the conditions. The house is walking distance to some family friendly dining options that were very tasty! Some minor feedback that I have would be to improve the pillows and I would have preferred that the beds were made when we arrived so that we didn’t need to make the bed ourselves after a long day of travel. Overall, I would recommend this property for someone who would like a family friendly water front vacation spot.

The house was as charming and well equipped as it looked in the pictures. We were only there for two nights and the weather didn’t cooperate for us to spend time in the back yard. We would have enjoyed a campfire by the water. We loved that we could walk to dinner and there were plenty of places to choose from. Our hosts were extremely attentive and flexible, allowing us to dry off after a rainy outdoor event the morning we checked out. We would definitely recommend!

The views are stunning and the outside area and screened in porch could not have been more perfect. The house is a great beach house, love the vibe and everything it has to offer. The location is awesome, 20-30 minutes to Newport or Providence, but when you are at the house it is quiet. Robert, the owner is great to communicate with and walks you through everything. Our family of 4 (2 parents, 2 college kids) rented this place for a long Easter weekend getaway. This is hands down one of the best VRBO rentals we've ever done! The house was clean and ready on time and had everything we needed to travel light - linens, towels, and basics like paper products, dish soap and condiments. The view simply can not be beat and the hot tub was great fun - just turn on the patio lights and hop in! The owners were great with recommendations for groceries and having laundry onsite was a huge bonus. We'll be back in warmer weather when we can use the kayaks! My three best friends and I rented this property for my birthday weekend away. It was clean, comfy and simply perfect. Beds were comfortable, and the hot tub was a definite plus! The water view was awesome! Corinne answered all my questions promptly and provided us with some excellent suggestions for restaurants. The whole house was renovated with all the latest luxuries-
Radiant heated bathroom floor, nice and hot outdoor jacuzzi, clean well stocked kitchen.
It was just my husband and I and our mini Australian Shepherd Lola.
She had a great time in the fenced in backyard. So much room for a family.
We used everything including the fire pit, foosball, hot tub and beautiful porch with a relaxing view of the water.
One must do is Localz restaurant down the street. The best food with very reasonable prices and they give you a ton to eat.

We rent a vrbo/vacasa every few months, even have our own vacation home but we were seriously impressed with this space. Not only is the house well laid out and super clean, but it has everything. We enjoyed the fenced in yard and the lower areas - our dog Milo loved it. Being able to go down to the beach and in the water. There were kayaks available. The hot tub overlooking the water was a highlight as well. We're definitely looking at rebooting the same weekend next year. The hosts were great and we met them at check-in for a tour and Q&A. We appreciate that they've open this home for people to enjoy. You will enjoy this if you rent, we certainly did.

There are too many great things to say! In a way I want this to be my secret, but not to share this gem would be just unfair! From all the details and all the added bonuses the best is the dog friendly fenced yard! Since we sold our house and in transition on a new home this as a great bonus plus having water viewed while playing ball! Communication was on point with owners. Every aspect of this home was on point with basically what you would have in your own home!

A Perfect Place!
From the moment Corinne met us at the front door it was apparent how much she loves this property. It shows in how clean and well taken care of it is and the attention to detail provided. The house is updated, very comfortable and includes everything you need. The amazing water views from inside the house are only surpassed by those of the outdoor living areas. Although the weather was not the best during our stay, we were able to enjoy the spectacular views from the screened in porch even on cool, cloudy and rainy days. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Perfect location on the water
We can't say enough about how amazing our stay was. We come up annually to visit my husband's family. This was a great central spot between his folks in Bristol and Somerset. The hot tub was very clean and great with the views. We shucked oysters by the fire pit and would have loved the kayaks it was a bit warmer. Beds were comfy and the game room downstairs was an added bonus! We will definitely be renting again next visit!

Lovely spot overlooking the baywith great views from inside or outside. House is well equipped, stocked and organized. Quiet neighbor yet within 15 min of everything. Walk to several decent restaurants too. If it were warmer would have kayaked to my morning latte.
