About this house rental

The Cameo House is located on a quiet street lined by tall evergreen trees local to Oregon, giving the neighborhood a forested feel. The house is conveniently located off 30th Avenue, 2.5 miles from Hayward Field, 2.7 miles to University of Oregon, Matthew Knight Arena, and 4.8 miles from Autzen Stadium.

This is a two story house with 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, 2 living spaces, kitchen and an outdoor deck.

Ground Level:

The main door opens to a vaulted foyer with the original central white marble stairway.

To the left of the front door is a front sitting room for the whole group with comfortable arm chairs. It also serves as an office space with desk and chair, and a reading space.

The kitchen and living area is a single open space with a gas fireplace. The kitchen has new stainless steel appliances, white cabinets, an island with ba stools, and a gas stove.

The family living area is next to the kitchen, with couches and armchairs with gas fireplace and a mounted 50-in TV

We have a bar counter and a round pub table for a couple to enjoy a beverage or quiet conversation while looking out the window to the greenery.

There is a formal Dining Room the comfortable seats 8 guests for larger dinners, reunions or thanksgiving dinner.

The 2-car garage is newly converted into a game room, with a pool table, foosball table, dart board and bar table and stools.

Lastly, there is a laundry room with washer and dryer with extra bonus shower, a half bathroom and closet space on the ground level.

Second Level:

The white marble stairway leads up to 4 bedrooms,

The Master Bedroom has a King size bed, 50-in TV, standing mirror and has large windows facing the tree-covered hillside. There is an ensuite master bathroom with twin sinks, walk in wardrobe and shower.

The other three bedrooms have a queen bed each. Two of the bedrooms have mounted TVs. These bedrooms share a common full bathroom with a shower tub, located along the second level hallway. There is a closet with extra bath towels and toiletries just outside the bathroom.

The outdoor deck overlooks beautiful secluded forested hill. There is a covered portion with dining table and gas grill, and a larger open area with outdoor seating and coffee table. It feels so peaceful to be sitting out here.

Parking is available for 2 cars in the driveway, and along the street. The garage is not accessible for parking.

We all enjoyed our stay at Cameo. The house is very clean. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Nice safe neighborhood. The only thing I would recommend would be more cooking utensils ie: pots, pans, baking sheets, food storage (we left some food storage items for the next group coming in). We were visiting for the Nike Nationals. Our athletes had very specific diets, therefore, we cooked most of our meals. We struggled with meal prep and storage due to limited cookware and storage containers. Overall, our stay was very good and the owners were very responsive.

We visited Eugene primarily to hike Salt Creek Falls, and our stay was made more beautiful at this wonderful home. It was very clean, many kitchen accessories, towels, and wonderful body wash and shampoos. We loved it!

Myself, and my three siblings could not have been happier with our stay in your beautiful home! Our precious 90 year old mama is wheelchair-bound and now lives in a nursing home five minutes from your beautiful property… We were able to transport her over daily so we could share incredible family time together… We made so many beautiful memories cooking meals together… Playing games together… Watching movies together… and reminiscing of memories from our childhood… We were so very impressed with the responsiveness of the homeowner and quickly door, dashing additional wash clause, etc. to us and getting his handyman over quickly to replace burnt out bulbs in front of the house… We can’t say enough about this beautiful property… It absolutely had everything that we needed and was such a comfortable stay!

Great stay. Nice Neighborhood near our family members. Perfect layout to gather for socializing......conversation, dinner, cards and other games. Our host had it decorated for the Holidays. It was very, very festive. Tree in perfect spot. Warm feeling. The view was beautiful even with the rainy weather conditions. Would highly recommend and would rent again.

We came for a visit with our UO daughter and attend a football game. We have a wonderful stay. The house had plenty of room for 4 couples. We enjoyed the kitchen and back deck. The view is beautiful outside with so many trees. The host is very responsive. This is our second time renting this property and we will likely book again!

The home is very nice. Accommodations were great for our group. We did notice many of the towel racks and toilet paper holders loose or falling off. The wireless service had poor connectivity as well as the main room television. Many light bulbs missing from fixtures, lamps. etc. Small details like that where general maintenance could be improved. Otherwise we enjoyed the home very much.We would recommend it. Thank you!

Great stay for long weekend, conveniently located in Southern Eugene in a quiet neighborhood yet close to downtown and the university of Oregon. The home was very spacious, well stocked with the essentials and easy perfect for our group. Would highly recommend, great value.

This is a lovely suburban property in a treed and quiet setting. It is a wonderful gathering spot for a large group. The owner is very easy to work with and prompt in his replies. It is important to note that the concrete path up to the front door consists of uneven steps. If you are arriving in the dark, be aware if this. I absolutely recommend this property.

This was the PERFECT house for our family to celebrate our son's graduation from Law School at U of O!! Beautiful neighborhood with great roads for walking. Very close to the university and shopping. Well stocked kitchen and gorgeous foliage and views of the backyard/forest. Owner was super accommodating and answered immediately when I posted him questions. Would definitely recommend this house for a wonderful family getaway!!

This house was a perfect choice for us while visiting our son who attends U of O. It is close to the campus and in a very beautiful neighborhood.It is spacious and clean and all the upgrades are really lovely. Our only complaints would be that the master bedroom and another small bedroom had no window treatments, blinds, drapes etc.... we felt very exposed and it was hard to sleep late because it was so bright in the morning. Also, I would suggest putting some of the lights in the kitchen on dimmers. Other than those minor details, we very much enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back in the future:)

This is a great property for a family stay. We used it for Thanksgiving for our family. It is close to campus and a lovely neighborhood. The house is well-stocked and the beds are comfortable. Our only concern was the marble staircase - very slippery, especially for the grandparents.

Lovely home on a lovely street convenient to all things Eugene! Grocery nearby, campus nearby , great restaurants nearby, & Spencer’s butte for hiking nearby! Great tvs, coffee maker & appliances central heat & air…, all rooms fully remodeled ! We couldn’t ask for more! Great host, and the pretty marble stairs /landings and flooring/elevation changes were not a problem for our group at all… but possibly difficult for less active adults? We loved the home & hope to return!
