There are working restaurants and bars in the area. Be prepared for a truly urban experience.

All Pinon homes are "vacation ready" with a fully appointed kitchenette, towels and linens. Hand, dish and shower soaps are provided, as well as toilet paper, trash bags, salt and pepper and coffee filters. Bring your own laundry detergent and toiletries.

Pinon Vacation Rentals provides guest support from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 pm.

All guests are responsible for reading Welcome Book “Check-In and Check-Out instructions.

Renters must abide by all rental terms and policies, as well as all local applicable property covenants, restrictions, regulations and laws. Any evidence of smoking, use of firearms, unapproved pets, unauthorized use of property grounds, damage resulting from violation of rental policies, and/or excessive mess may result in charges up to $1000.00 to the Guest's credit card on file, as authorized by Guest's approval of the terms of the Rental Agreement.

Reservations may be canceled more than 30 days prior to check-in with full refund minus a $125 Cancellation fee or a $75 Change fee if applicable. No refunds will be issued after this cut-off date for any reason. No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions.**

I would rate the cleanliness and location with 5 stars. We arrived on a late August day when the weather was perfect and the temperature a comfortable 78 in the late afternoon. When we entered the apartment it was freezing cold. The simple solution would have been to turn of the air-conditioner and open the windows unfortunately due to safety and probably temperature retention the windows have a solid glass interior piece that makes the operable windows inaccessible. It is too bad they did not find a solution that would allow you to get some fresh air into the apartment. To be fair the bathroom window can be opened about 8 inches. It looked like the windows on the second floor of the building opened and had screens.

Excellent stay at the suite! We locked ourselves out of the room briefly and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful in getting us back in quickly. Very clean, very quiet, great amenities and location in Salida. Highly recommend this suite and the host. Thank you!

Great communication, easy check in, extremely clean, walking distance to everything downtown. A great place and we would stay again. Only thing slightly negative is no hair conditioner provided. Make sure to bring your own.

The unit was super cool! Like stepping back in time. The entire building gave this charm of the early 1900s that it was built in perfectly! Only thing missing was a haunted presence, but still an awesome building and unit. Location couldn’t be better for Salida! 10000% recommend!

Awesome location within downtown salida. You can walk to several restaurants and coffee shops. Awesome views and super interesting history of the hotel/condo. Would def stay again in the future.

Great location and spacious suite; had all the amenities I needed. I knew in a historic hotel there wasn't an elevator, so the stairs weren't a surprise. Got lots of exercise! Right across the street from Riverside Park and the Riverwalk so I didn't have to drive once I arrived.

My wife spent the night on our last day of touring the state on our motorcycle. Zero complaints, it was the perfect location and everything was walkable. The room was clean with an uber-soft bed. Excellent pizza and tasty beer next door overlooking the river.

Location is perfect. The view is aweseome. Salida is awesome. The place has incredible character and everything you could possibly want. I absolutely loved it so much that I started researching how I could possibly buy a place in the building. If you stay here, you won't regret it. Frickin' perfect.

We had a great stay here in downtown Salida. The room was spacious with large windows overlooking Riverside Park. It’s the perfect location to stay in Salida. Internet Wi-Fi was a little spotty at times if that is a consideration for you but overall this is a great property to stay at and we’re looking forward to coming back there.

Salida is a fun town and the property is in a great location! We loved the view of the park and the river and there were fun activities and eateries all around! Our TV did not work and although we were told someone would come to fix it that did not happen. We understand that it was a holiday weekend but it was frustrating. Also, parking was a little difficult to manage.

The location was perfect for our stay in Salida, the only glitch was the WiFi, the owners mentioned that it could be unreliable and it was. On our last day, the message on our devices noted the router needed to be reset, kinda sad. The good news was our ATT signal was excellent and we could use our phones as a hot spot, albeit in low data mode . Over all it was a great stay.

Hard to beat the sense of history and prime location that this accommodation offers. Warm and comfortable suite with a well appointed kitchen and river view. My only frustration was an inability to communicate with a property manager to request a bit of additional time upon checkout.

Condo is located down town walking distiance to lots of restruarants and shopping. Park across the street is very nice to sit in and enjoy the morning. The only draw back was the parking situation.

Really nice room with a view of the River front park and near the downtown restaurants. However, there was little warning that we would climb 47 steps to the door. Don’t bring much luggage!

We had a wonderful stay The Palace ‘Hotel’! Not only a gorgeous historic piece of history, It was very clean, & had everything we needed. It was amazingly quiet! Myhusband does not like to eat breakfast out, so the little kitchen was excellent for our needs!
