About this apartment rental

The Huntingdon Place development is quietly located in well maintained leafy grounds close to the fashionable Broughton Street area which has a great selection of eateries, cafes and bars as well as a wide range of local shops. The east end of Princes Street is less than 15 minutes walk and the property is close to the top end of Leith Walk, the Edinburgh Playhouse and the Omni Centre. Excellent public transport links connect this area of town to the rest of the city – although given its central location it is easy to explore central Edinburgh on foot. There is parking in a secure garage for one car. This ground floor property sleeps up to 4 people in two bedrooms and has been the recent subject of an excellent refurbishment. A spacious and welcoming hallway leads to the newly re-designed open plan living/dining/kitchen area which contains a kitchen with oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher. There is plenty of crockery, cutlery and glassware for those wanting to cook at home. The sitting area has comfortable sofas (one of which is a double sofa bed for flexibility of sleeping arrangements) grouped round a coffee table and a TV. Internet access is available for the use of guests. A glass and chrome dining table has been positioned by the French doors which have a Juliet balcony and views over the grounds. Both bedrooms have been attractively decorated and have plenty of cupboard and drawer space as well wall mounted TVs and are located to the rear of the property overlooking a small area of pretty private gardens. The master bedroom has a super-king bed and has the benefit of an immaculate en-suite shower room. The second bedroom has twin beds – ideal for a family group. A second bathroom has a bath and shower over, wash-hand basin and WC A utility cupboard houses a washer dryer, iron and ironing board. Sleeping Arrangements One super king bedroom and one twin bedroom. There is also a sofa bed for flexibility of sleeping arrangements. Getting there Edinburgh Airport: 9 miles

This was a wonderful apartment--modern without being stark. The living room had 2 comfortable sofas so we could relax after being out all day. The location was fantastic--just a 10-15 minute walk into town. There were grocery stores and great restaurants just a few minutes away. We would definitely stay here again.

Such a well thought out unit. It was perfect for the four of us. Spacious, clean, modern and well put together with all the ammenities you would need from fully eqUipped kitchen to laundry etc. The location was fantastic in Newtown with lots of shops and restaurants we wanted for nothing. We easily walked into the town center everyday.....our hosts have a real winner here!

Stayed 3 nights in this fantastic apartment. Ideally located just outside city centre but 5 mins from local take aways, restaurants and public transport. Situated in quiet residential area. Car was parked in a secure garage. Apartment had everyone we needed for 4 adults. Kitchen well equipped with crockery, utensils, dishwasher, fridge freezer.. there was nothing we needed. Linen and towels all supplied. All in all a fantastic place to stay. Would definitely recommend.

Nothing to complain about as everything was positive. Modern place with all amenities. Very spacious and well maintained. 15 min walk from princess Street, but not for the fainthearted as its all up hill.

This quiet and nicely appointed apartment was perfect for four adults. It is modern and bright and was great to return to after all day excursions of beautiful Scotland. There were plenty of restaurants within walking distance included a wide variety of ethnic food offerings...Italian, Indian, Asian, and more. We thouroughly enjoyed our trip and the value of a good accomodations when traveling are indispensible!

The perfect Edinburgh flat!

Our family of four, including two teenagers, really enjoyed this flat. It's roomy and clean and had a great amount of space for the four of us to spread out. The property was tucked away and felt safe. The space for our car was key! The location of the property couldn't be better. There were restaurants and shops within a couple of blocks and then all of Edinburgh's finest sights were within an easy 15-20 minute walk. We couldn't have found a better place to stay whilst in the beautiful city of Edinburgh!
