Home away from home 🏡 very happy customers

Home away from home, everything you need here and more, for a quiet, comfortable stay, Its clear that hosts go out of there way to make sure there guests have a a nice stay, with personal little touches that you simply wouldn't get anywhere else, we only popped away for a quick night to clear our heads with the sea air, but we could easily stay longer and we will be back!

A lovely stay

A very lovely hidden property with all you need and more , very lovely enclosed garden with a little outdoor fire to use if need which was a great bonus in the evening. The property itself outlooks the pool & is a great veiw. Very friendly host , had also left lovely gifts for children.

Absolutely perfect, couldn’t have picked a better place for a last minute anniversary break

Emma and Paul were fantastic hosts and there were so many thoughtful touches included, including an anniversary gift for us. The lodge was so well equipped and breakfast items were included as well as snacks, drinks, games, pool toys. It felt like we found a surprise every where we looked! The lodge has it’s own secluded area to sit outside in and also a snug in the garden overlooking the pool. It’s a comfortable strolling distance to the seafront so we got to enjoy a morning at the beach then an afternoon in the gorgeous pool. Emma and Paul are very responsive to requests and really went out of their way to accommodate us (including posting back clothing I managed to leave hanging up!) and made us feel so welcome. We can’t wait to go back!

Brilliant mini escape. Like a home away from home.

The location was convenient and a short walk to shops and beach (which is a shingle beach), on-site facilities were perfect, nice outdoor pool (great for little ones and adults), Emma the host was friendly and on hand for any issues, lots of nice personal touches and a welcome gift for our anniversary at the property and free parking!

The property became very warm during the day (we went during the heatwave) and I imagine would probably become very cold in winter. They did have a fan and we could request another as a solution but just be aware that the temperature can’t be managed with a thermostat. There is a nursery school next door (which the hosts warned us about) but the noise was minimum and didn’t bother us at all.

Hidden gem

Brilliant, greeted with a lovely note and treats for us all, we found Sherpai to have everything we could need, lots of lovely extra touches and fully equipped, together with our own enclosed garden, driveway and use of the pool if we wished. Location was fabulous and we could reach everywhere on foot. Hope to return soon. Thank you to such great hosts.

It was one of the best properties i have ever visited.

Emma was one of the best host ever. Everything was neat and clean. Every small aspect had been taken care of to ensure a comfortable stay. Emma had left lots of goodies for us.

Far exceeded my expectations, Emma was a fantastic host and her attention to details was amazing.

I was with my grandson so I loved flexibility the lodge offered us, with our own kitchen and living area and of course the pool was a huge hit.

There was absolutely nothing we didn't like about our stay a the lodge, we had a fabulous time.

Lovely place.

We came down to herne Bay for my sister's birthday and needed an overnight stay. What a lovely place sherpai Lodge was. All the extras were a lovely surprise , eggs, bread, croissants, beers, gin and tonic, sweet treats, and more. Would highly recommend.

cozy pleasant relaxing place to stay.

SherPai Lodge, from the moment we arrived Emma made us feel welcome and the lodge itself was so cozy and welcoming, we were lost for words. Emma had gone out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed, from Oscar our dog with a welcome present, to ourselves having bread eggs all kinds of food and drinks, you really couldn’t of asked for more. we would highly recommend staying, as it’s well worth the money. A gem of a location hidden away, but in walking distance to all amenities and close to the sea front.

No issues at all, so no negative comments.

lovely, cosy and welcoming cabin, highly recommended.

Such a wonderful place to stay, super cute and cosy cabin with everything you could possibly need. The complimentary snacks were such a thoughtful and unexpected touch. Great games and a really well equipped kitchenette. Couldn’t recommend the place highly enough if you’re visiting the area and looking for somewhere cosy, comfortable and very welcoming.

Totally relaxing quiet easy to

I just loved everything about this little gem of a place the hosts were lovely people and nothing was to much trouble location great just a short walk to the beach shops eateries. I’ll look forward to returning next year.

Beautiful little holiday lodge with a very thoughtful host

This little lodge is a stunning place in a lovely area. Emma was an amazing host who puts her heart into making this holiday home outstanding. The lodge was spotlessly clean, had everything and more needed to cover our week's stay, beautiful garden well kept. Emma kindly left lots of complimentary breakfast foods, snacks, drinks, ice lollies, ice creams, all that suited me and the 2 kids individually. Emma's attention to detail is what makes this place special. She had even left my Son and Daughter personalised gifts waiting for when we arrived. My Son turned 16 whilst there, Emma and her wonderful family very kindly involved us in their BBQ that evening and bought him some gifts with banners and balloons setup in our private garden area - lovely suprise for my Son to wake up to. The private pool was amazing, we loved it! We're already looking forward to returning next year!

Wonderful Weekend

The chalet is charming, spotlessly clean and well equipped. We used the outdoor pool and gardens which were all beautifully maintained. This was a great base for exploring Herne Bay on foot and getting taxis to venture further afield was easy. I had let Emma know that we were staying over my Husband's 60th birthday weekend and she and her lovely family gave us an unexpected but very generous and thoughtful welcome with a banner, balloons, cake and gifts. We loved our stay, thank you.

A beautiful property

What a beautiful place in a perfect location. The lodge is perfect and has everything you could possibly need. The garden is a lovely size and perfect for my 3 year old with the swings and slide, plus the pool was fantastic. Lovely and warm and we had a blast. The host also made it extra special by adding lots of personal touches, including a gift bag for my daughter and lots of yummy drinks and snacks. Just perfect!

We was there 2nd time and it was awesome time again. Landlords are really nice people, we just opened a door when we arrived and there was small gift for our kids, it was really nice. I'm sure that we'll come again some day.

Everything was brilliant. House was very clean, nice and warm. Our kids was very happy there. Our family really enjoy. Pool are really nice big and water was heated. My kids had birthday when we was there and even landlords gave them small presents it was realy realy nice.

completely amazing!

location is amazing, facilities are excellent and everything was really clean. We we welcomed on arrival and treated to lots of treats. The family are so lovely and our dogs also had an amazing time!

Perfect for our needs. I wouldn’t recommend for any more than 4. The pool and hot tub were amazing added extras, towels provided too!

Well equipped, cosy little lodge.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at the lodge. Emma couldn’t do enough to make sure we had a lovely stay and the treats and drinks she left for us were a lovely surprise! We would love to come back in the summer once the pool is open.
