The original 1910 cottage studio was fully refurbished in 2018 with charming décor and your comfort in mind.

In addition to the studio and screened-in porch, all of our guests have access to our waterfront backyard complete with fire pit, Adirondack chairs and fantastic views of the boats, the birds and the sunsets on Weems Creek.

Be sure to walk on down to the picnic area - on our private dock! There you can decide between the paddle boards, kayaking, or taking our boat out on to the Severn River or down to City Dock for a drink or a bite! (Experienced Boaters:
Reach out to us about using our 17' Boston Whaler for an extra cost )

Over the summer, the dock picnic area is also the perfect setting for your own classic Maryland Crab Feast! For the chefs and adventurous at heart, we've got all the necessary pots and mallets to give it a go yourself. If you're not up for the mess - we can definitely tell you where to enjoy a crab feast in town.

Be sure to take a quick stroll through our neighborhood to grab local delicacies at the Great Harvest Bread Co, the Bean Rush Cafe and all the rest that the village of West Annapolis has to offer. Our location is pretty amazing.

Plus, we are only a few minutes' walk to the US Naval Academy’s Gate 8, the entrance to the historic Annapolis campus and Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium!

Friends, we hope you will enjoy your stay with us, and please, come again!

Our stay at this Vrbo in Annapolis was nothing short of spectacular! The property is beautifully maintained, offering the perfect blend of comfort and style. The attention to detail was evident, from the cozy living spaces to the well-appointed kitchen that had everything we needed for our stay. The location is unbeatable—close enough to all the attractions, restaurants, and shops make Annapolis the charming city that it is (1.2 miles walk to the Naval Academy), while distanced enough to be a quiet retreat. We loved being able to explore the historic district and waterfront, then return to this tranquil retreat. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and responsive, ensuring our experience was smooth from start to finish. The thoughtful touches, like the welcome bottle of wine and local recommendations, made us feel right at home. Whether you’re visiting for a weekend getaway or an extended stay, this Vrbo is the perfect choice. We can’t wait to return and make more memories in this wonderful home.

I am so happy I found this gem that was exactly what we expected, and then more! The cottage was spotless & extremely welcoming. The dock was great along w/ the use all of the outdoor watercrafts. The host, Jim is so accommodating and couldn't have made us fell more welcomed. He was extremely helpful, but at the same time gave us full privacy unless we reached out with a question or suggestion. we enjoyed the short walks to the delicious Mexican restaurant and adorable coffee shop. Our Uber rides were quick and easy to get downtown. I sure hope to return for years to come. Thank you for everything!

Jim is an exceptional host who goes above and beyond to create an unparalleled experience with outstanding service and hospitality. We've stayed in numerous rentals, but this one truly stands out. The waterview, the boats, the hospitality, and the prime location were all incredible and deeply appreciated. If you're on the fence about booking this place, just do it. It's perfect for a couple. I even caught some nice perch right off the dock! Our biggest concern about renting on the water was the potential for mold or unpleasant odors, but this place was completely odor-free, filled with fresh air and delightful scents. We're already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you, Jim, for making our stay so memorable!

We had our midshipman with us, who was in between blocks and wanted to have some friends over for a barbecue. This place was perfect. The kayaks and the dock provided a nice respite from DTA. If we needed something, the owner was quick to provide. The location was right near the academy, very convenient. If you’re just 2 people tired of hotels, paying extra for parking, and wanting to cook a couple of your meals, this is your place.
