Very enjoyable.

We loved the location. Wished we had more than just the one night stay en route to the Mon-Brec canal.

A king size bed would have been really nice, just like home.

Very nice but.....

The presentation of the apartment was very good. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything needed, although we only made coffee morning and night as we were at my daughters home. The bathroom was very good, nice shower. And the lounge was bright and sunny with good furniture, the bedroom very roomy and adequate. The location could not be better.

I was disappointed in the housekeeping. It's an easy place to clean with good quality hard-wearing and easy to clean carpets, but it was quite badly stained in places, and a stain on the settee was noticeable. The bathroom, tho good, was quite dark. A brighter light would make a huge difference. And the cheapest of cheap toilet seats was loose on one side. The plug hole and strainer in the kitchen were very stained and needed bleaching, as did the one in the bathroom sink. Corner paintwork in the lounge was quite chipped. Parking space was quite an issue, especially when all other spaces are full. Ours was not the biggest car, but I had quite a job getting in and out. You may think that we are being picky, but a life spent in the cleaning and service industry has taught us that it's the little things that really matter, and presentation is everything. Question 4...is relative, it was a very soft mattress, which some people would find very comfy, but we prefer a firmer bed, so only a....

Lovely apartment in ideal location

Super size apartment and location - very close to shops and restaurants.. Really helpful to be on the ground floor with walk-in shower. Apartment well-equipped and clean. Furnished to a high standard. Host very approachable and responsive.

There isn't really a view but there are benches in a lovely green viewing point, overlooking the River Wye, just round the corner from the front door.

Relaxing yes, but with so much to be done in the vicinity!

The location is really excellent, being between the river parks and walks and the centre of the lovely historic town and less than a couple hundred yards from each. The size was a pleasant surprise and exceeded our expectations. It has four separate rooms including a fair sized bathroom with a big shower. The two comfortable couches in the sitting room meant that we had no fights about who got lying out watching television! The kitchen was well equipped with more than you are likely to ever need.

We only stayed 6 nights. With so much walking opportunities in the area and historic interest, and a very friendly town with lots of facilities, you don't benefit from the usual feeling when leaving of ..now that's done.

Wye Valley Apartment Retreat

Location excellent. The apartment was awesome and spotless. All the facilities you need for a comfortable stay. The owner was as helpful as you could get. Really helpful and friendly.

Lovely 2 night break

Amazing ground floor apartment with everything you need. Clean, comfortable and perfect location for town and great pubs. Parking space right outside the front door. Tea, coffee and sugar provided a nice touch. Excellent communication with host. Would visit again.

Nice little place for two people bed comfortable nice and clean not far from the river,owner very helpful and pleasent

Low seating but would be ok for some ,,due to our mobility area very steep my fault for not looking into,lovely area otherwise, would suit fitter people, was able to visit daughter in Hereford so that was a bonus

A perfect few days in a great location and very comfortable accommodation.

The location was exactly where we wanted to be and we were well pleased with the accommodation. The bed was most comfortable and the facilities round about offered all we needed. The owner kept us fully informed and communicated well.

The car parking was 'tight' as we were forewarned. The car suffered from the very active bird population. We tried to keep on top of cleaning the car on a daily basis but it required a full wash once we departed. We appreciate nothing can be done about that.

Happy with the accommodation but just too cold for me.

It was comfortably furnished and the bed was very comfortable. Good location, close to town centre. Dinner at the pub close by, Man of Ross, was excellent.

The property suffers from condensation and the sitting room has a large, single-glazed, bay window which made the room quite cold. There were only venetian blinds and I feel thermal-lined curtains would have been a better idea. There was a wall-mounted electric heater which was really hot to the touch but the room never really got cosy. We were staying during a very cold spell of weather which wouldn't have helped.

A relaxing break with the option to eat out or self-cater.

Very well situated for the town, restaurants and the river walks. The kitchen is well equipped and you can relax in the front room. The apartment has been nicely decorated and the bathroom has a super shower.

Nothing much really - the parking is a bit tight if you have a big car but was fine for us.
