About this house rental

Get ready to create great family memories during your mountain getaway to Angel Fire. The main level features a large living room with a wood-burning fireplace (wood provided). A high ceiling with wood beams covers the living and dining area and plentiful windows let in natural light. Enjoy family meals at the beautiful wood dining table that overlooks the back deck. The modern kitchen boasts new stainless steel appliances, lots of counter space, and a breakfast table that seats 4 and looks out over the back deck. There's a separate TV room/library with a sectional sofa for relaxing. One sofa turns into a full futon and the other into a twin futon. In addition, the main level has a bedroom with a queen bed, a laundry room with a state-of-the-art washer/dryer, and a full bath with walk-in shower. Both the dining room and the kitchen have sliding glass doors leading out to a large deck - perfect for enjoying your morning coffee, your evening cocktail, grilling on the propane grill, and wildlife watching.
Upstairs are 3 bedrooms. The large master bedroom features a king-sized bed, an ensuite bathroom, and a private balcony. Another bedroom features a queen bed and a third upstairs bedroom has a twin trundle bed (sleep 2). There's also another full bath on this level.
Off of one of the upstairs bedrooms is the game room featuring a foosball table, flat screen TV with X-Box and two gaming chairs to provide hours of fun for kids and adults alike.
Enjoy the backyard deck and firepit area. The perfect place for making s'mores!
There's plenty of parking in the easy access driveway and a two-car garage. This house is located across the street from one of the many Angel Fire greenbelt hiking trails and is just a half-mile walk to beautiful Monte Verde Lake. Just minutes from all that Angel Fire has to offer - skiing, snowboarding, golf, mountain biking, hiking, and more! Well behaved dogs are welcome. There is a fenced backyard and plenty of dog friendly hiking trails nearby.

The house is large with plenty of room for the 4 girls we brought! The bathrooms are nice, as well as the bedding. The kitchen is not fully equipped (no hand mixer or not many drinking glasses). But having said that, it’s a very nice, large home. Downstairs bedroom may need a table lamp. But that shower is lovely!

We booked this place and another for a family ski trip. We were very pleased with the location and the layout of this home. The activities room was a game changer for a couple of the teens wanting to get out of the snow and just chill, while the adults could socialize in one of the two lower living spaces. Kitchen was well equipped with anything needed for a large group cooking three meals a day and hanging out. Country club nearby has a fantastic sledding hill, and the lifts were only a 7-8 min drive away. Highly recommend.

We had a small wedding at our house in Angel Fire so we had a few folks that needed a place to stay. This house was just down the street for us so the location was perfect. The house was very accommodating for the eight family members that stayed there. The only item to mention was the house was very dusty and could have used a better cleaning. That said it is the mountains and being a home owner in AF, I know things can get dusty quickly.

The house is in a beautiful, wooded, and quiet golf course neighborhood, two doors down from a lovely hiking trail and half mile from a community lake. Decent small fenced yard for the pets. Nice back patio. Saw deer everyday and lots of birds. Sunroom and front porch were nice but could use furniture. One issue: a boil water notice was issued for Angel Fire the day before our stay. We were not notified until several hours after check in. We had already drank water and given it to our pets. I had stomach upset for 3-4 days, marring our vacation.

The home was clean and beautiful. It was perfect for our group of friends and family. We were able to see deer in the area which was awesome.The outside fireplace was nice to gather with friends. Getting to the property was good until hitting the driveway, so AWD is probably a good idea in the winter.

My family enjoyed our stay at Deer Casa, we loved the eclectic/retro vibe of the house, something different than the norm. The furnishings, decor and bedding were great and good quality. There were only a couple things that needed attention, the grout in the tiled floor in the kitchen was crumbling and needs to be replaced and the back deck needs a good scrubbing, and adding some more substantial outdoor furniture would make a huge difference. These were definitely not deal breakers and I would enjoy staying here again!
