The most beautifully styled house in the heart of Skala - Nick and his family are the perfect hosts

Scorpio Mansion is the most beautiful house in the most idyllic location. From the stylist decor, to the spacious layout, and the tranquil patio area - you can’t ask for any more. We absolutely loved the it. The family are perfect hosts - not only at the house - but also at Ammos - their beach bar and restaurant. At Ammos the food is outstanding and it feels like a very special experience. We were lucky enough to go twice - jazz night and for a Latin band. 💃🏼 I can’t recommend highly enough! Thank you so much Nick and family 🙏🏻 - we will definitely return.

Paradise!

Our requirement for any lodging is location, cleanliness, and washer. We only do carryons so a washer is essential. When we were looking to book our place in Kefalonia, we looked at various locations within the island and stumbled onto this amazing place. It noted beachfront and town center, so we booked it as it wasn’t too far from the airport. We rented a car from the airport, and it took us an hour to reach this mansion (the roads are windy), and we were ecstatic that we had the good fortune to book this mansion. Prior and during the booking, I asked many questions to Nick, and all were answered promptly. We were able to check in early, and even though we got there later than anticipated, Nick left pizza, wine, water, etc. for us. We met Roula and Thomas who are Nick’s parents, and Roula said, “You are here, in the town center, and you don’t need to go elsewhere. The beach is down there, grocery store is 3 doors down and there are many places to eat nearby.” She was absolutely right. The beach is pristine and amazing and literally a stone’s throw away from the mansion. There is a small supermarket 3 doors down. There is a restaurant to the right and the left of the mansion, so we did a lot of takeout. The house has everything that you would need. Showers were powerful, and it was just the best place to stay. We went to a couple of other beaches, did the caves, but we just stayed in Skala. Every morning, we woke up, went to the beach, came back, had lunch and then walked back to the beach again. Paradise and total relaxation completely different than the frenetic pace of New York City. Sometimes one wonders if all the excellent reviews are really true or not, but this place is the real deal. The whole family really took care of us and asked to get in touch if we needed anything, but we didn’t. It was glorious staying here. Nick, Roula, and Thomas really took good care of us. Do not hesitate to book. I would love to return in the near future.

Quirky stay in the middle of Skala

exceptional villa with great decor and amazing location!! perfect for a family to stay in Skala. stones throw from amazing restaurants and bars. would return here in the future for sure. Nick and his Father Thomas were more than helpful and did everything to make the stay the best it could be! also they have an amazing beach bar called Ammos which serves fantastic food! Whole family were amazing!

Scorpios Mansion is a very special place to stay. It is made even more special by Nick and his whole family who were very sweet, loving and extremely helpfull. The house is about a minute walk away from the beach and everything you might need is within walking distance. It is just as you see in the photos (or maybe better) and a really amazing place to stay. We visited the whole island and in the end found that skala is really the best place to stay in, being that you have all the comodities and activites to enjoy a fantastic vacation in a relaxed and chill environment. I definitely recomend this house for one of the most memorable vacations. Thank you to the whole family for such special moments!

Peaceful accomodation in Skala downtown and close to beach

Excellent location - right in the Skala downtown. In spite of this fact very quiet and nice place. Only few meters to beach (very nice public beach). A lot of restaurants and shops very close and easy to reach. Very spacious accomodation, air conditioning very efficient. Beautiful Patio with seaview (only mosquitos were a bit annoying). Comfortable parking right in front of the house.

As we closed windows and doors all the time tightly because of mosquitos, there was a watter-drain smell in the kitchen. If you ventilate properly, it is OK.

The perfect accommodation in the heart of Skala.

This villa is in a prime location just a 2 minute walk to the beach & centre of Skala. It has stylish decor and is fitted with modern appliances throughout. The spacious terrace is cool and comfortable. And our host was most welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.

Superb

Rula and her family are delightful, always willing to assist where and when possible. Well equipped kitchen, washing machine, dishwasher and fridge freezer. Scorpios Mansion is within easy reach of the beach, bars and restaurants.

The rocking chair in patio area was poorly sited and on discussion Rula agreed to remove.

a beautiful and unique villa with ample space and all facilities. fantastic location right on the beach in skala and wonderful views of the sea and town. The hosts were very friendly and made us feel right at home. thanks for a really enjoyable stay!

Tranquillity Gem... with perks...

The place (alongside the hosts living next door) exceeded our expectations. From the first moment we meet until the last when we leave, we were treated like members of a big family with warm hospitality, and were generally very lovely people. We were treated with homemade food, organised hydro-costumes to swim in the sea, a trip to Argostoli to buy fresh "Sea Bream" from the boat and make a barbecue later at home, on top of overlooking the sunset and enjoying the sea breeze, right from the terrace porch. The house itself is no less then prepossessing. It has very large rooms, a high ceiling, and traditional decorations throughout the house, mixed with a modern twist. It was very clean and with an authentic essence of fundamental quality. Highly recommended. Also, from 1st of May, they will open doors of the beach bar which promising Nourishment galore are run by the same people.

Just beautiful

Everything it's just awsome. The appartment is basicaly in front of the beach. The place is quite and very elegant. You have everything for you. Restaurants everywhere and a very large and beautiful beach just accros the street. The hosts are very kind and helpful. You have everything you may need in the appartment, a lot of space and very beautiful.

Everything = perfect

Location of the house is perfect, a short 2-3minwalk through a forested path to the beach. The view is incredible from the house looking onto the sea through shady trees. Spent much of our time on the front patio; very large like an extra living room. No time is wasted on your vacation here. A few minimarkets for groceries, many restaurants, two bakeries are all no farther than 8min walk up the main pedestrian street in Skala. The two restaurants on each side of the house were extremely convenient. We took advantage of this many times: nothing beats ordering a pita gyro from your nextdoor neighbor! The beach is the definition of relaxation- never crowded, all you hear are crickets/birds chirping&the waves rolling in. No noisy cars heard. The shore is very distanced from the street and the beach is incredibly wide. Mix of sand& pebbles: sand up to the shoreline, larger pebbles as you enter the water a few meters in then sand again. Sea is calm and a nice temperature + beautiful sunrise over the sea! The house is jaw-dropping. Central air-conditioning, a dishwasher, washing machine, and full kitchen with modern appliances & plenty of plates/utensils - all things rarely found in Greece. 2 bedrooms+2 full bathrooms. Huge living room with 2 large&comfortable sofa beds. Truly beautiful interior décor; you can see that the house was made with passion by the owners The family that owns the property made our trip even more enjoyable. Upon arrival we were welcomed at their beach bar own-10min walk from house. It felt like family invited us into their home; so kind and accommodating, made us feel very comfortable and safe! We were the first guest after they opened and no reviews scared us at first for no reason! Family is extremely hard-working& speak perfect English. We have been going to Greece for many years and our time at Scorpios Mansion surely tops any past experience because of the location, beach, and amenities. Would LOVE to go back!
