The flat is clean and tidy, but it is not luxurious. The building is rather old and has some disadvantages. There was a draft from the window, right on top of the bed. You cannot open the windows properly, so it could probably get very hot in summer. The walls are very thin, so that we could hear our neighbours quite loud at night. The flat is rather good for 2 persons. We are a family of four, so that 2 persons had to sleep on the couch, which was not very comfortable. There are also advantages to this flat: a great location, near the Grand Central Station, a grocery store in a walking distance. Communication with the Sonder team was excellent. The check-in was absolutely easy. Also, the kichten was good equipped, but no luxury here. Soap, shampoo, toilet paper, coffee and tee were supplied and we could even get a refill downstairs, in a storage room. The rooftop lounge has a great view. All in all, it was a good experience for us. But one has to know, what to expect in order not to be dissapointed. It is a decent low budget flat.

We found this property extremely satisfactory for a seven-night stay. The staff at the building were extremely helpful, as were the Sonder staff. The unit was quite clean, with a few minor exceptions, none of which was serious. Grand Central Station, with multiple subway lines, is a few blocks away, as is a Trader Joe’s. For longer stays, the limits of a two-burner stove (no oven), and limited cookware might be a problem for some guests. Also the bed is very hard, ditto. Overall, we were very satisfied with this property.

The apartment was smaller than expected. Lightning was very poor. The HVAC system did not work we called Sonder and someone came promptly to deal with the problem. It seemed to have been fixed but the problem kept recurring. We needed to call about the TV and the dishwasher both of which were addressed. The supply room was not consistently stocked. The noise level was a frequent problem. The location was great with easy access to public transportation, dining, shopping and the Times Square area

The apartment is quiet and well-appointed. The kitchen is new, and I was grateful for the dishwasher. The bed is comfortable, and there is a lot of closet space. The location is great - within walking distance from where we needed and wanted to be. The property manager was responsive.

The Nash offered a very convenient location: Midtown Manhattan, close to main subway stations so it was easy to move to any place in the city. It has also supermarkets and other facilities around that made our stay pretty easy. I was with a 5-year-old and the place was very nice and comfortable and offered the possibility of cooking and laundering. The attention of the Sonder´s staff is immediate and efficient. They make sure you have all you need to feel at home. I definitely recommend it and I will come back again.

This was the perfect place for us to stay while we were in NYC with our 18yo daughter, looking at colleges and celebrating her birthday. The price was well below any comparable hotel rooms that would allow her the privacy that she needed when traveling with her parents, the location was outstanding (we easily traveled to G. Village, Morningside Heights and the Bronx with a short walk to Grand Central Terminal), we wished we had more time to explore the surrounding restaurants and sites, the apartment was spotless and the Sonder team was super responsive. Our D slept on the sofa bed (which has a memory-foam mattress that she said was comfortable); when we arrived late in the evening, there were sheets and a duvet cover for the sofa bed, but no duvet. I texted Sonder, and the duvet arrived the next morning. And, when we arrived, we found a celebratory package of sugar cookies and a lovely birthday card for our D! To manage expectations: the outside of the windows was dirty (the inside surface was clean), some things were a little damaged or loose (radiator cover, some scratches on the floor) and there was street noise (it is NYC, after all). None of those things impacted our visit at all, and I have stayed in hotel rooms at a comparable price point with similar hiccups. We will certainly look for Sonder properties when we book in NYC again (hopefully when we visit our D in college!!).

Amazing location. Walking distance to Grand Central station and Empire State building. Lots of great shopping and food all around. Roof top terrace a bonus with great view.
