The short gentleman with glasses that looks a bit like harry potter was very helpful

Absolutely delighted with the rooms, and the scenery.

Unbelievable value for money, and the river outside the window was such a bonus.

Dated but good value, great staff

Good price, very friendly staff, excellent evening meal. Stair carpet quite dirty, room ok but a bit dated and short of plug sockets. Twin beds - one very comfortable, the other not used as the springs were evident near the surface. Breakfast one plate of cooked food, very good selection available. Would stay again, vfm.

Exceptional value for money. Comvenient for Swansea

It was clean and tidy. Host was very pleasant and helpful and allowed us to park in a staff parking space.

Walls we’re rather thin so could hear snoring through the walls. Also no breakfast before 8.

the hotel was convenient in relation to location of family.

The breakfast itself was OK. the dining room was stark.

The position of the bedroom overlooking a major road and very noisy. No chair in the room and some of the lights did not work. No explanation of how to use the television handsets.

Excellent room and service

The room was excellent. Very generous with the complimentary tea/coffee and toiletries. Lovely bed and TV had plenty of channels. Clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, one of the best I've had.

Everything provided was excellent. Road can be noisy outside but not their fault!

Friendly place in a useful location, and very good value for money.

Clean, comfortable accommodation in a useful location for visiting various pretty parts of Wales. The staff were helpful and approachable. eg. my TV wasn't working so I had to get someone to come up and look at it; it turned out that for some reason the previous guest had disconnected the Sky box, unplugged it and pulled out all the wires! It took maybe 30-40 mins to sort it out and reconnect the wifi/satellite etc. Neither of us knew what we were doing but the girl had a good attitude, didn't panic and made sure it was sorted. I'm sure it's not really part of her job description so I appreciated her efforts.

No real negatives. If I had to pick something: there was no cereal/fruit option at breakfast but there was a wide range of tasty cooked breakfast options - something for everyone.

Staff were friendly and helpful but the bedrooms were very no disappointing

The breakfast was excellent, well cooked and nicely served

The bedrooms were very disappointing, especially the bathrooms. Plumbing was very noisy, nowhere to hang a towel, glass shelf above the washbasin was sloping so that you couldn’t put anything on it without it sliding off. Door handle on main door was coming away from the door in the outside. We had to get someone to show us how to switch the TV’s on then one of them went off with no signal.

Clean, comfortable, freshly cooked food, and overall very good, great value.

I have stopped there before, when in the Swansea area. Location is good for access to Swansea and other local towns. Dinner was good, breakfast very good. It is comfortable and relatively quiet. I started the following day much refreshed.

Landing carpet needs a clean. With hindsight, a different design might be better.

Really enjoyed our stay at the dilwyn & will recommend and be back. We tipped both bar&kitchen :)

We absolutely loved loved loved the food The kitchen were really friendly as well and always said hello to us when we were around.

If we were to be really picky - our room had cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling and the bathroom fan was full of them. We weren’t overly fussed however the next person might be.

Great little pub/hotel

Loved the fact that the family room was 2 rooms and we plus the 2 teenagers had privacy. Lovely sound of the river to fall asleep to.

Bathroom window didn't have a blind and looks out onto main road. But I wouldn't rate it down because of it.

Superb

This was my third stay at The Dillwyn Arms, and it keeps getting better! The staff is friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent!
