A wonderful relaxing break in a very pretty town with everything that you could need close by

The hotel is very pretty. We were very well looked after with thoughtful touches fir our comfort. The breakfasts were amazing

Unfortunately due to the room temperature during the 5 days that we stayed, was not acceptable.

Friendly owners. Outside pool

No air conditioning. Bedroom was so hot at night. Fan provided was ineffective. No fridge in the room. As a result the milk provided in the evening turned and was not drinkable in morning.

Thoroughly enjoyed our Stay

Ten minute drive from Bergerac Airport. Great location, only short stroll to the town. Great choice for breakfast where you can eat on the terrace or inside. Much thought has gone into the decor of the rooms with all that you would need. Nick and Jenny were great hosts and went the extra mile to accommodate us due to very high temperatures with upgrading our room to keep us cooler at night and providing us with a plentiful supply of water when the heat was very extreme. We will definitely return to this friendly home from home. Thank you both for making our stay very enjoyable.

Lovely stay

Fab location. Overlooking Dordogne river. 10 min walk to town along riverside. Lovely room and friendly hosts

Couldnt stay around bb on last day, as no general toilet for guests, once you ad given up yr room. Would av been nice to chill around pool prior to our afternoon flight home. But it wasnt a big deal. Lovely place. We wondered into town for a few hrs. Thank you nick and jenny.

Well Pleased All Round

Location is quiet ,no traffic noise . We had the superior room which was very spacious . Breakfast is continental with plenty of choice . Walk into old town with its numerous shops and restaurants is about 15 /20 minutes on level ground . English couple who run the hotel are very good hosts and have local knowledge they are keen to share .We hired a car and there is ample parking space .

There is no air con but we stayed in July and whilst it was hot ( 24-30) the room fan coped okay , Small fridge in room would be useful .

Take me back

Beautiful comfy bed i could have slept for weeks and great smell of clean linen and dual aspect air flow from the windows. Quite neighbourhood close to river and nice 10 walk to city, perfect. Ice and fridge options every night to chill your drinks, great touch.

Breakfast - Only option was hard boiled eggs, be good to get some variety on that

Excellent place to stay, could not fault it and the hosts Nick and Jenny were really lovely.

We had a lovely relaxing time at R&R, the hosts were lovely and very welcoming. Breakfast was plentiful and very well presented. The location is great for the town so overall we had a great visit and would definitely return.

Everything was really lovely and there wasn't anything that we didn't like.

Hosts couldn't have been more accommodating.

Breakfast was very good. Hosts Nick and Jenny couldn't have been more friendly and helpfull. For hosts who are new to the business they have a great positive attitude and they spend the time getting to know their guests and their needs.

Air conditioning would have been nice.

R&R is a wonderful place to stay when visiting Bergerac.

The location is excellent. R&R is a ten minutes stroll along the scenic river Dordogne into the historic centre of Bergerac. The room was spacious, decorated stylishly and very comfortable. The bathroom was huge with an excellent shower. The bed was extremely comfortable. The swimming pool and gardens allowed us to cool down and relax after a day of cycling. The hosts, Jenny and Nicky were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. We rated R&R 10 out of 10.

The room was beautiful, extremely comfortable and clean. The house is stunning and is set in a perfect position for walking into Bergerac, whilst remaining quiet and peaceful. The garden is a gorgeous, sunny spot to enjoy rest and relaxation, especially on the brilliant hammock!

Beautiful property, excellent location, spotlessly clean and attention to detail to make the property ‘special’ was phenomenal. The accommodation is also very well placed in a quiet area yet it is a very short picturesque river walk into the centre of Bergerac.

Our stay at R&R Bergerac was really enjoyable. Hosts were very knowledgeable about the area recommending places of interests and dining. Our room was excellent with all amenities and very clean. Breakfasts were great. Would highly recommend this B&B. We look forward to our next visit.

As excellent as we had hoped after seeing this place on the Television Programme, and so much more !

100% fabulous. Will highly recommend without question, open when others are closed. Ideally situated being a short walk to the Old Town, and all the tourist delights, passing the River Dordogne at one of its prettiest spots. Bergerac airport is close by, the owners can arrange a taxi from the airport to their property, you dont need a car for a short stay in this area. The rooms I saw were beautifully and tastefully renovated and decorated, plans are in place to make a ground floor bedroom and improvements to the swimming pool, breakfast was off the scale with lots of fresh delights , the bread and croissants were sourced from the best boulangerie in Bergerac in my opinion! We are locals and will happily place our visiting friends here.

Improvements are being scheduled for the entrance area, and will be finished shortly.

Superb

We had a brilliant time at R&R, Nick and Jenny were incredible hosts. The breakfast was superb and all the little details (like helping us get a cab from the airport, allowing us to leave our bags for the morning of check in while we waited for our family to join us and take us onward.)
