It was an inadequate stay

Cooker wouldn’t work, tv didn’t work, was left outside the build 3 days in a row had my card charged 3 times.

I don’t this is good value for money, and the smell and cleanliness was extremely disappointing.

It was quiet

The room was not clean, hairs in the bathroom. The biggest issue was the stench in the room & the bedding was inadequate. Also lamp & radiator worked however had broken plastic. The gym was also closed due to a leak, although I was allowed to use when I asked after I expressed my disappointment at it being closed.

Good experience

The kitchen had all the necessary utensils. The room was spacious. The location and view from the window was good.

I stayed there for 12 nights and nobody cleaned the room during my stay.

Not what I Booked!!

So I've booked a stay for 2 family members from 27th July-1st August at ''Modern and Comfy Studios at Corporation Village in Coventry''. The property communicated no issues with the payment or the booking and gave us instructions to follow when we got there. The day comes I pick them up from the airport and bring them to the booked accommodation. Since it was after hours check-in we were instructed to call and check-in with a security guard. That's fine so far. It all goes downhill from here: 1st - Security Guard has no idea he's expecting anyone. 2nd - He says the building has been booked from booking.com by everyone who booked in the last few weeks. 3rd - We booked over a month before so supposedly we wouldn't be included in those ''overbooked'' 4th - He says the company has another building with the style rooms really close by. Since my family is in a new country with nowhere to sleep we had no choice but to follow this man at 10 PM to a ''new location'' We come to this building and he gives a card to open the room and gives us instructions to go to it. 5th - We get to the room and it's nothing like the ''Superior Studio'' we paid for. 6th - There were some issues with not having any hot water, so we went to this building's reception and there was no one there. The lights weren't even on! 7th - We had to go back to the original building we supposedly booked for to talk with someone who would fix the problem and notify us. 8th - No notification didn't fix the issue... 9th - According to the booking.com instructions we were supposed to leave the keycard at reception. So we left it in the empty dark reception with no one on it as requested. We didn't get what we paid for. We got worse than the worst possible option available when booking. I Want a refund on my ''Superior Studio'' because we were never provided that...

Ok for what it is.

Decent-sized room, well located and not badly priced.

Because this place is usually student halls it was a bit lacking in some areas. And they forgot to put the majority of the kitchen in that then took a couple of days to appear. The listing mentions things that didn't exist like the TV

In general was good, but there are somethings lacking and the staff was not so friendly.

Some kitchen facilities were missing, such as glasses and the materials needed to wash the dishes. Besides, the reception man was a little rude, as he did not want to provide us toilet rolls, because we run out of them the day before as well.

Good value for money. Comfortable. Excellent location

No curtains. Expected something to be sorted out ad this was pointed out when i checked in and shown to room. All that happedbed was someone came to door and change the room number from A004 to A001. Also table lamp was not working but wasn't to much of an issue.

Basic but good

It's very basic student accommodation. Lot's of space for storage and has everything you need. Basic but good for what it was and the price.

The kitchen leaves much to be desired, very small and the power resets every five minutes so makes cooking difficult. The bed wasn't very comfortable. There also wasn't any supplies in the kitchen, e.g. sponge, detergent, tea towel, etc.

Nice room, student accomodation, not great for business travellers.

Studio room was sized well, had ensuite and cooking facilities.

100% student accomodation. Fire alarm went off when arriving, had to wait at least 1 hour before checking in. Staff were OK, but it was only 1 guy dealing with it all, who couldn't reset the fire alarm himself.

Cheap and Cheerful

The location was good and easy to find. The level of security was good having to use your key card to get access to various areas. The room had great facilities and everything that I needed. I stayed for over a week it would have been nice to have the room cleaned after day 3 and the bedding changed. Property is good value for money. Very rarely saw any other visitors

On arrival I got to the property at 14:30 to see if I could check in. Luckily, I did get there early because my room wasn’t on the list and hadn’t been cleaned. I had plans at 15:00 so a further delay would have made me very late. Not a great start to the stay. The drains in the bathroom smelt very badly of ammonia. I could also hear someone else in the shower.

Basic and acceptable accommodation.

Good location for getting around the area, very handy to the main bus station as well as being a close walk to the train station. Handy for local supermarkets and plenty of places to eat around the area.

Understood it was student accommodation so wouldn't offer a huge amount of facilities but would have been good to know that would only get one sets of towels, one toilet roll, no chopping board, no sharp knife. Also that not a chance to get the floor hoovered while there.

Good enough for what we needed.

Student accommodation in Central location - so exactly as expected. The location was important for us this visit as we needed good public transport connections for the Commonwealth Games at the NEC.

There were no mugs, glasses,cutlery, towels - but a Primark close by fixed that. We will know to bring such items next time. The sockets in the kitchen didn't work, but shifting the kettle to the bedroom fixed that.

Generally quite good but the accommodation is well suited for students.

Room had kitchen facilities for self service.

The first two weeks I went without Wifl facility and having complained about it for 2 weeks nothing was done. The engineer arrived on the very morning that I was checking out. This was a real inconvenience but cuedos to the management they allowed me to stay an extra night as a gesture of goodwill.I also had to request for the room to be cleaned and linen changed after more than a week.

Excellent value Great location, on the edge of the historic city centre - minutes from cathedral and shops Access to gym Surprisingly spacious room with good desk space Comfortable bed Quiet!

Room was quite basic - kitchen equipment minimal Only staff available were concierges on main desk who didn't offer much help when requested
