Amazing once in a lifetime experience!!!

We loved staying at Amare Il Mare, and experiencing Corniglia and Cinque Terra. The owner and manager, Cinzia, greeted us at our car when we arrived, and she and her colleague helped us carry our bags to the apartment. So kind and gracious. Cinzia prepared a useful and comprehensive book of information that she leaves in the room (including information about the room, the town, activities places to eat, transportation, laundry, and more), and shares that "I put my heart and soul into realizing this project" and we can verify that that is a true statement. Cinzia took such good care of us, with all of the food, snacks, drinks, and Netflix to make our stay enjoyable. The apartment was incredibly clean, and Cinzia cleaned and restocked our apartment so nicely every day. The room (we stayed in the "Stone Room") was very well designed, and she uses every square inch to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable. The best was very cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed returning to our beautiful apartment and view every day. Corniglia is much quieter and less congested than the other towns. Corniglia is perfectly situated in Cinque Terra, equidistant from the other 4 Cinque Terra towns. You can even walk to neighboring towns in a few hours, along the coast. At Cinzia's recommendation, we purchased the daily Cinque Terra Card (for 2 days in our case), which allowed us to travel all day between towns, which only takes about 5 minutes by train. Visiting the other towns in Cinque Terra was amazing, with each town having its own geography and personality. We also spent much time in our beautiful room, enjoying the view of the hills and sea. We are from Hawaii, and understand natural beauty, and our stay at Amare Il Mare is at the top of our list. We definitely hope to be back as soon as we can. We loved EVERYTHING about the experience, from the apartment, to the service, to the location, to the transportation, to the food, to the activities. Nothing at all to dislike.

We will be back and would not consider staying anywhere but here!

The best view from all of Corniglia from the private, massive veranda!! Cinzia thought of everything, from the welcome wine and scones, to the snacks & coffee in the fantastic kitchen, to laundry service, restaurant recommendations, ticket links, etc etc. She was an incredible host!

Perfect!

Everything! Amare il Mare is absolutely perfect in every single way imaginable. We only booked one night, which was a shame; we really should have booked for longer! The view, the room, the amenities, the hosts... everything exceeded our expectations. What a beauty of a spot!

Fabulous gem in Cornelia with incredible views!!

Superb experience! Our hosts treated us like family! They thought of every detail and more to make this a very special memory! We are in the vacation rental business and were very inspired!!! We would highly recommend!!!!

If you are looking for a more local experience but with high end amenities and hospitality!

We stayed in the Starfish Room, there was plenty of space, a nice kitchenette, renovated bathroom, and the porch overlooking the ocean is outstanding! The thing that really sets Amare apart is the owners hospitality. Whether it be the offer to pick us up from train station with luggage (lots of stairs in Corniglia - pack light), the basket of food goodies, or the little personal amenity bags - it made it an extra special experience.

Everything about the property and the owners is lovely. I would just note that there is lots of stairs in Corniglia, so packing light.

Amazing view, super clean, well equipped, gracious hostess and PARKING!!

Absolutely amazing place to stay. Super clean, well equipped and the hostess was so kind. Corniglia ended up being our favorite of the 5 towns. we stayed in the starfish room with our own terrace which was equipped to be an outdoor living and dining area- even with tv. Kitchenette was well equipped with dishes, cookware, etc. We were given a welcome bottle of local wine (delicious) and little focaccia for an apertivo. Plenty of coffee and breakfast/snack items were provided as well. free , private parking was included in the rate and our hostess met us to direct us to the parking. I highly recommend ! The price is on par with the area, you are right near the shuttle bus station to the train and/or stairs to the station.

A beautifully decorated room in a central location with a very accommodating host!

The host left plenty of coffee/tea, and packaged breakfast/snack foods in the room. These were refilled each day. The location was very nice. We had a lovely view of the sea from our window. The bathroom amenities were nice as well.

I honestly can’t think of anything negative. The room was small, but that’s ok as accommodations in Europe are generally on the small side and it’s just something you get used to.

A little slice of heaven in one of the most beautiful destinations I have ever visited! Wonderful!

The room was so cute, super clean, and full of extra touches to make our stay fun, comfortable and relaxing. The hosts were amazing! Helpful, kind, and they picked us up and dropped us off at the train station. The location could not be better. Situated just steps away from one of the hiking trails (amazing hike!) and moments away from all Corniglia has to offer. Wonderful view of the ocean and gardens below, and a short walk to a private little garden that is a wonderful spot to sit, relax and just be. Can’t say enough nice things about our stay at Amare Il Mare and beautiful Corniglia! HIGHLY recommend.

This was the most incredible stay. The hosts were so kind and gracious, they offered to pick us up from the train station. They decorated the room so wonderfully for my friends' birthdays. They had wonderful treats waiting in the room. The view and terrace were incredible. When I visit again, I refuse to go anywhere else. This was a phenomenal experience. Thank you so much!

Lovely apartment in a quieter part of Cinque Terre. The balcony is fantastic and spacious, with a magical view. The hosts were also very helpful and picked us up from the train station which would otherwise have been a 15min upslope hike - an exercise especially with luggages

Can be a bit far from the station when exploring the other cities, but there is a shuttle bus if preferred. There are also some bugs too but easily managed out of the apartment - just ensure the windows are closed so no new ones come in :D

Everything! Stunning view, everything was super clean with so many thoughtful touches and complimentary snacks including some homemade mini breads. Beautiful owners who were so helpful and welcoming. Would love to come back!

amazing stay in corniglia!

the property is beautiful! the terrace was just as big as the apartment and the view was unbeatable! we are able to sit out of the terrace one night and watch a huge storm roll in - it was amazing. it was also very nice being able to see the water from the terrace. the apartment is in corniglia - the smallest village and one that some people skip. we loved the quaint feeling of the village and having it be so not crowded.

nothing! just know that when getting the to train, there are hundreds of step to go down and getting back to the apartments, the same steps. there is a bus take will take you, but during peak season it gets quite crowded and you may not fit in the bus! nothing bad about the property, just a heads up!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Amare Il Mare. Cinzia was amazingly kind and helpful and she went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. She even picked us up at the train station and decorated the room for our honeymoon! I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Everything about our stay we loved. The location, the view from the room, the bed and pillows were the most comfortable, the breakfast provisions, the complimentary Prosecco, the cleanliness was above and beyond. This room was so clean and comfortable. And our host was so lovely and helpful. We loved our time here.
