The “Bohemian Retreat," a newly renovated 4-bedroom, 2 full bath home is ideally located in the heart of Traverse City. Restaurants, grocery stores, State Park Beach, and East Bay Beach are all within short distance from the house. Enjoy the large fenced-in yard with fireside seating, a grill, and a pergola for alfresco dining.

We are Pet-friendly! Pet fee is $150 per stay. A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed. Please let us know if you are bringing a fur friend so that we may get your pet amenities prepared for your arrival. We try our best to keep hair and allergens away, but guests with dog sensitivities should be aware. Please use our provided sofa cover and 'retired' towels for your fur friends. Booking guests will be responsible for any pet damage.

Quiet hours are observed after 10pm. We are in a residential neighborhood so please make sure to respect our neighbors. No unauthorized parties are allowed.

☆☆ BEDROOMS ☆☆
Larger groups and families will have plenty of space to spread out in this roomy, four-bedroom home. Bedroom 1 features a queen bed and two twin build-in bunk beds. Bedroom 2 is equipped with a queen bed, a rocking chair, and a pack and play for young families. Bedroom 3 is outfitted with a queen bed, a chair, and a beautiful bohemian headboard. There is also a 2-person futon sofa bed in the living room for any additional guests. In addition to the queen bed on the downstairs level bringing this to 4 bedrooms.

This spacious home offers two full, pristine bathrooms that make getting ready that much easier.
Bathroom 1 boasts a shower/tub combo, while Bathroom 2 is equipped with a walk-in shower.

☆☆ KITCHEN & LIVING ROOM ☆☆
The fully equipped kitchen is sure to please the chef in your group. You’ll find stainless steel appliances, plenty of cookware, a spice rack, and anything else you could need to whip up tasty meals.
In between the kitchen and living room is a beautiful wooden dining table with seating for eight.

The living room is perfect for relaxing and enjoying each other’s company. There are two sofas, a rocking chair, a fireplace, and a flat-screen Smart TV with access to HULU live channels, Netflix, and Disney+. There are also board games, books, children's toys and pets amenities available.

☆☆ BASEMENT ☆☆ The newly renovated basement level bedroom features a Queen sized bed, a Queen sofa sleeper, seating area with television and plenty of room for your family get togethers.

☆☆ BACKYARD ☆☆
Enjoy the great outdoors without ever leaving home. The large fenced-in backyard features a pergola for shaded alfresco dining, along with a grill to show off your BBQ skills. This area is fully lit, and there is also a fire pit for guests to enjoy.

Extra special amenities include boards games, books, children's' toys and supplies, fully-stocked laundry, garage for bikes or large toys, and driveway parking for up to 4 cars.

Please note during our peak season (June-September) we discourage late check-outs and early check-ins due to the tight turn-around schedules of our cleaning teams. We are happy to allow for an early check-in or late check-out if our cleaning team is able to accommodate the request and still allow the rental to be cleaned to our quality standards and specifications. All early check-ins and late check-outs will be charged a $250.00 additional fee for this expedited service. We are able to accommodate early check-in and late check-outs during our off season (October-May) for a reduced fee of $100.00, please contact us for further information.

Please be aware guest stays longer than 10-days will require mid-stay cleaning. Mid-stay cleaning fees are the same amount as fee charged during booking. A weekly cleaning and linen/towel exchange is required for long-term guest stays, short-term guest stays may request a mid-stay cleaning for an extra fee.

Please note that 3 days before check in time, we will place a temporary pre-authorization hold of $500 on your card. This hold verifies fund availability and covers potential incidental expenses during your stay. The hold will be released 7 days after check-out, pending no outstanding charges or damages. Your privacy and security are paramount, and all card information is handled confidentially.

*Please note that violation of any of these rules is considered a breach of the terms and conditions of the rental agreement. The owner reserves the right to evict any guests or visitors who refuse to follow these house rules. The violation of house rules may result in deductions from the security deposit or other penalties. 

Child Safety: Parents must not leave children unsupervised and are fully responsible for their safety at all times. 

Safety & Energy Saving: Please close the windows and lock the door when leaving the premises.

Report any damages and/or breakages immediately.

Cleaning and Maintenance: 
Smoking or burning candles are not allowed inside the home. No eating or drinking in bedrooms.

Please do not wear shoes inside the house. Please turn off any electronics when you leave the house. 

Visitors & Noise:
No unregistered guests or visitors allowed. The maximum property capacity is 6 people. Parties and events are strictly prohibited. Third parties are not welcome, and the place is for guests only. Quiet time after 10 p.m.  Please refrain from making noises past 10 p.m. to respect our neighbors.  NO FIREWORKS ALLOWED.

Pets: Dogs are permitted in the house. Please declare your pets to us ahead of checking in and settle any pet related fees. Pet fees is $150 up to 2 pets. Please clean up after your fur friends and use the provided retired towels to clean your dogs. Please do not let your dogs venture into the neighbor’s yards during their walks.

Housekeeping:  Daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We will be happy to help arrange additional cleaning during your stay for a fee. If you run out of clean linens (sheets/pillow cases) and towels etc., you are welcome to use the laundry facility to replenish them. PLEASE do not wipe any food, oils, or lotions on the linens. Please use the kitchen towels (paper or cloths) for their intended purposes. 

We provide black make-up towels and cotton pads for removing makeup. If our other towels are stained or bleached during your stay, we will charge a $15 replacement fee for each towel.

Property/Home owner(s), Property Manager will not assume responsibility for illness or injury that guest(s) may incur while on the property. Property/Home owner(s), Property Manager, is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or property of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are assuming the responsibility of any harm arising from their use of the premises or other people they invite to this property (per owner’s approval). Owner has the right to ask guest(s) to leave the property if these rules are violated. If legal action is taken against guest(s), the at fault party will be responsible for all law suits/lawyer fees. Any violation of these rules could result in you being charged your security deposit and/or legal action taken. Call 911 if there is an emergency and then call the host.

ATTENTION: Missing garage door opener will result in a $200 replacement fee.

Pets:
We have the following rules for our guests with pets or Assistance Animals. This ensures that both your stay, and that of our guests after you, will be enjoyable and relaxing. Our pet fee is $150 for up to two dogs. Maximum occupancy is set at 2 dogs under 50 pounds each. If you have any questions, please ask us! The guest remains liable for any and all damage caused by people or pets or a service animal.

•Your animal should not be left unattended at any time. Should that become necessary, you must have and use a crate for your animal at all times while you are gone and provide them with sufficient food and water. Please use the labeled pet towels/sofa/bed covers/sheets for your pets cleaning needs and separate them from the towels/sheets provided for guest use.

•You are responsible at all times for your animal's behavior. While we reasonably expect that your pets or specialty animal are well-trained, should any damage occur, you are responsible for the cost of any cleaning, repairs, or replacements.

•Your animal should have a collar, harness, or microchip with identifying owner information attached should it become lost.

•Your animal must be under the control of verbal or sight commands that they follow at all times.

•Your animal must be housebroken, non-aggressive, not destructive, and not display repeated, unprovoked barking.

•We can ask you to remove your animal and/or leave for excessive barking, aggressive or damaging behavior, or obvious lack of sanitation.

This was the perfect place for our family to stay while our grandson played in a hockey tournament. Our youngest grandson loved the top bunk! We also enjoyed the park and the big slide.

Do not hesitate to book this property. Immediately upon entering this property you are enveloped in a sense of calm and comfort. The decor is lovely, the furniture and beds are comfortable, and the house is very clean and quiet. I was pleasantly surprised at how roomy this house was for 5 adults and a very busy 1 year old. There is a large fenced backyard with dining furniture, seating, a fire pit with Adirondack chairs and a grill. Downtown Traverse City, public beaches, and grocery stores are all within a 5-10 minute drive. The owner/property manager is very responsive.

This was a lovely home and we certainly enjoyed our stay. We were a group of 8 and fit very comfortably there. I felt like I was at home during the stay, the house had everything that you could think of. The location was amazing minutes away from the beach and downtown. The house was spotless when we got there and that made us feel amazing. The beds were very comfortable. If your debating between this house and a hotel don’t think twice this house is definitely the way to go. Check in and check out process was very easy. Owners were very easy to contact and responded very quickly to any of my questions. Overall 11/10 stay and will definitely be coming back in the future. Book this house don’t think twice you won’t regret it.
