Mountain View Villa

Will hands down recommend Baan Phuvara to anyone visiting Krabi and looking for a romantic holiday. The Villa was clean and the staff were efficient and helpful. A bit of a steep to get to the Villa, but the view that you get from your Villa makes the hike up all worth it. Do expect some bugs due to the location of the Villa which is surrounded by nature. We came across a small scorpion in our bathroom 😬. All in all we have no regrets and this was truly a memorable stay.

Not friendly for elderly people as the villas are on a hill slope.

Stunning view and relaxing vibe

Beautiful view from the balcony with Jacuzzi. Staff is very helpful and easy to get around from the retreat. Nice temple to visit walking distance from the place. Strongly ecommended

Fabulous mountain top location right next to amazing Chinese’s Temple in AO Nang Spotlessly clean bungalow with terrace Jacuzzi, so relaxing 😎

Nothing, but for others beware it is a very steep climb for about 200 yards to rooms

Het prachtige uitzicht en de jacuzzi op het balkon, heerlijk! Er is een Whatsapp service met het personeel, heel fijn, ze reageren snel en duidelijk.

Veel trappen lopen, dit was ook al bekend van te voren, maar viel toch wel tegen.

Die Aussicht war traumhaft! 5 Minuten fußweg gibt es Cafés, Restaurants, ein 7-11 und einen super günstigen Nightmarket. Das Personal war sehr nett!

Das Bad hatte schwarze Flechen am Silikon. im Jacuzzi „schwimmten“ (vermutlich) Kalkablagerungen (braun?) herum. Also die Hygiene entsprach nicht unserem Standard. Dennoch konnten wir zwei Tage dort genießen und hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt

Good, but not worth the money.

The room was very clean and beautiful. Jacuzzi was relaxing. The Buddha temple next to the hotel was beautiful. The beds were very comfortable and everything was okay.

We had more expectations for the view. We booked this room mainly for the view, it it was a bit underwhelming. I would not pay so much for this. The location was also not great as it was a bit away from the center and we had to take a taxi if we wanted to do anything. Better to have your breakfast elsewhere, it was a very basic meal and not the best.

Unsatisfactory stay, with extremely difficult to reach villas on foot and below par services

Only thing good about the property was the rooms with the views and the location close to Ao Nang beach.

The property was not up to our expectations. Firstly, the villas are located on top of the hill, and there is a steep hike to the rooms. The property does not have a service to drop off guests at their villas. The hike is exhausting, and after a tiresome day of holidaying, it is the last thing you want to do. It is impossible to do for the elderly and those with medical conditions. The rooms were good, with lovely views, but that's about it. There was no toiletries provided (basic at any good resort/hotel). Communication was via whatsapp, since they don't have a reception yet. And replies were delayed and not up to our satisfaction. Finally, we had explicitly requested vegetarian breakfast without eggs (since we are allergic). But we were served with and egg omelette and pancakes which had egg in them. We were depending on a good breakfast since we had to drive to Phuket after check out, but were left hungry. The hotel staff apologized for this and offered us 800baht as a compensation for the breakfast for 2 rooms, but that did not cover up for the bad experience we had.

Unreliable staff spoils the whole impression

At first sight it looks beautiful. The apartment is clean and it is nice experience to have own jacuzzi on the balcony.

There is no reception so the only way how to communicate with the staff is via Whatapp, but they do not reply or react kind of slow. For example: I text them that we need breakfast at 7 o’clock and 7:50 will be check out (we had to go to the airport). They confirmed it, but the next day we did not get our breakfast at all! I called them, but no apology nothing. one day they confirmed the check out time and the next day in the morning they were asking what time will be the check out. Really poor communication and unreliable staff. Also you can not go with a car to the accommodation (even though there is a road, they do not allow you to use it), so if you have a lot of stuff, you have to carry it uphill on foot. There is no equipment in the kitchen. Only a few mugs and glasses. We asked the staff for a knife, but we did not get any. There is also lot of insects and we saw varan close to our door in the morning.

The bungalows were really beautiful and comfortable, the staff very attentive and the views breathtaking.

The property is slightly hard to reach, but later the view from the bungalow really makes up for it :)

A MUST stay in Krabi: stunning views and great amenities

Besides the obvious gorgeous views and the beautiful amenities, this place seriously had THE BEST service we’ve ever experienced in Thailand. Staff went so many extra miles to help us, advice, book taxi, modify the trip, help with luggages. The place is even more beautiful in reality! The view is worth everything. It’s clean and tidy, boho-styled and just makes you feel a part of nature. You get breakfast delivered to your room at the time comfortable for you. You get lovely robes to feel nice and cozy. And jacuzzi is so so good and relaxing - one kind of an experience being in this place. It’s definitely a steep little climb (stairs) to the highest villa, but its max 3 min and you’re back to your comfy air-conditioned room. All in all, the place is totally worth it! It’s a bit more outside the city, so you’ll have to get a taxi to Ao Nang city or beach, but through the apps Grab or (even better) INDRIVE application, you can order a taxi to Ao Nang for 80-90baht. Or the hotel can order it for you, and it only takes 8 min to get there. A must stay on your trip in Krabi! Especially, for romantic getaways.

Nothing negative. The only small challenge is a climb to the highest villa but it’s short and doable.

Picturesque relaxation

The bed was so comfy, I had the best sleep that I’ve had in Thailand. The views are absolutely insane, and it’s such a nice touch to have breakfast delivered to the villa!

Interesting to visit, certainly romantic.

Very good romantic property, Enjoyed the views and the Jacuzzi.

My only complaint was to get to the property the walk was uphill and slightly difficult. Older guests might find this difficult. If l was to make suggestions, it would be a good idea to have milk in the fridge. Plus a supply of tea bags and sugar available. Coffee was supplied, but not everyone drinks coffee.

A perfect place if you want to rest in a quiet area. The villa itself is very nice, clean, and comfortable. The staff is very polite and friendly. Highly recommend! Next time in Krabi, I definitely stay here.

The breakfast was good and the room looks pretty

Staff support is zero. You will be on your own in this resort! Reception is still under construction and we wasted almost an hour to get checked-in. Bees, Lizards and Cats were looming in our room which was extremely stressful and no response of the management to our Whatsapp messages to remove them Location is extremely secluded and three dogs ran after us while we were waiting for the cab. We literally booked another hotel and ran away from this place

the jacuzzi

everything. there is no front desk or even waiting area. we took our heavy bags to the room by ourself. we checked out and were left waiting on the road for a grab for 20 mins. hotel didn’t arrange anything proper. were told to make our own coffee despite not knowing how to use the drip method. curtains had mold. rooms were not clean. path up to the room was sooo dark and creepy at night. the dining table in the room had a lot of mould underneath it. was disgusting. the sheer curtains on the bed frame was dirty and dusty. there was makeup stains all over the sofa.

my stay really affected my stay and opinion of the location

looked good on the photos

on our arrival taxi took us to the property and there was no reception. it was like building site. after half an hour some showed up and escorted us to other locations where they had a office. after when we manage to check into the room ( clime there was a workout) everything looked ok but on our way back to the room it was full of creapy groalies. they were on the plates and in the wine classes. kitchen was full of lizards. also iron and ironing board ( cover all burned) wasn’t useable. we checked out same evening we arrived and lost money for 5 nights stay.
