I can't recommend this home enough. We are a family of five (2 adults + 3 kids - 13, 10, & 5) plus our 2 small dogs. This was the perfect spot for us as we all had plenty of room to spread out and the twin beds in the third room mean that my girls didn't fight about sharing a bed! The hot tub was an excellent bonus. Everything was clean and in order when we arrived; beds are very comfortable. Don't hesitate on this one!

The Rambler is the perfect location to enjoy Kerrville and surrounding area. Adjacent to the walking trail and to all downtown restaurants. The home has comfortable furnishings and plenty of room to host a family dinner. This is our second time to stay here and will definitely be returning.

The house is beautiful, clean and well appointed. Close to grocery store and restaurants. Host was very communicative and check in was easy. Keri immediately informed me that I left behind some valuable items and worked with me to retrieve them. Highly recommend.

The Rambler has such charm! My family stayed there and so enjoyed the darts, the dominos, the honor bar and even the magnets for the fridge. It’s a wonderful spot for families because of the space, the layout and the variety of things to do. We’ll be back another time when we can enjoy the hot tub and bikes too! Our one night stay was just too short!

House was wonderful, cute, clean and very comfy. Kitchen was well furnished and the master bed was super comfortable. We really enjoyed the easy access to the walking trail that runs alongside the river. Only complaint is that we weren’t able to enjoy the hot tub because the interior of the cover was saturated with water making it too heavy to completely remove. The water looked and smelled very clean but there was gravel/dirt in the seats and on the floor of the tub. The lawn chairs were strewn all around, tipped over and upside down. A little outdoor housekeeping prior to our arrival would have been a nice touch. Overall, we had a good stay and would rent the house again.

We loved the house. So adorable. Loved that the river trail was so close. It was the perfect set-up for two couples , and then an extra room for quiet time, reading, napping, stretching, etc. (yoga mats available in the bedrooms) The beds were super comfortable. The owner was very responsive and accommodating. Lots of notes left to explain things and educate us about the house and surrounding area, including restaurants. All lights were labeled which was wonderful. All in all a great stay and we’d rent there again in a heartbeat!

A spotless and comfortable home with some great touches! The owner had large canisters full of decaf and regular for the Keurig...plus creamers in the fridge. Bathrobes were provided. We so appreciated these thoughtful gestures! I loved being minutes away from the river walk, where we saw deer every morning. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at this property for 3 nights, and it was perfect for us. It was a plus to be able to bring our dog. Also, the beds were very comfortable and the furnishings were on point. We enjoyed the hot tub one evening as well. I would recommend this house to anyone needing 3 bedrooms. We would stay here again.

This home was the perfect spot for us to reconnect with family we haven't seen in a really long time. We thoroughly enjoyed having the added hot tub and outdoor space to relax in. The house had everything we needed and more. We definitely plan to stay again in the future.

This place was just perfect for our stay for a weekend wedding and getaway. The home was so welcoming with perfect accomodations. We had fun visiting around the firepit in the evening and the beds were very comfortable. Everything was just terrific. Thank you.

we've stayed here several times and it is always great. It is the best supplied place we have stayed at. Love the location close to the river, and we walked over to Mamacita's for dinner this time (0.2 mi). Good heater and a/c. Comfortable beds and furniture. Easy check in and out. Definitely recommend!

Had a great stay in this cottage. House was well set up for guests, with lots of extra details. Beds are comfy, close to river trail for walking and convenient to downtown Kerrville. Keri was an amazing host, loved our stay!!

We stayed at the Rambler for Labor Day weekend and had a blast! The owners made it so easy to have a great stay - well stocked, clean, and the lists on the fridge were very helpful! We didn’t use the backyard as much because of the weather, but the patio swing was lovely. There was plenty to do and it was a quiet, easy to access location. 10/10 would stay again!!

I love these homes and this was our second year to rent one of the properties while picking our girls up from camp. I love their creative and fun decor, makes it such a fun place to stay. Always clean, comfy beds and well furnished. Would be such a fun place with a group or for a longer getaway. The backyard is fun with the fire pit, darts, horseshoes and hot tub and it is a great location to be able to go and see the city. Loved it and will be back again next year!

Best VRBO Yet!
My two sisters and I stayed at the Rambler for our annual sisters' trip. We have stayed at other VRBO homes, but I can say with confidence that this was the nicest experience yet. The home was clean, updated, and filled with special touches of hospitality. We were greeted with a sweet note of welcome on the refrigerator and a bottle of wine. Light switches were labeled, instructions were there for everything, and supplies were plentiful. The backyard was filled with opportunities for recreation; horseshoe pit, bicycles, hot tub, fire pit (not much needed on July nights). I cannot think of a single thing that I would change about this house.

One of my best VRBO stays
This home was very clean and recently updated. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. There were welcome added details that I didn’t even know I needed – throws in the LR, two types of coffee pots, honor bar, fun yard games, etc. We enjoyed sitting out in both the shaded front and the sunny backyard. The home is just a few blocks from the beautiful paved river trail and convenient to all types of Texas Hill Country fun. Though not in a luxury location such as a resort or beach (it is in a modest neighborhood) it is still one of my favorite vacation rentals.

AMAZING PROPERTY!!
This home is absolutely amazing! It was incredibly clean, and the owners have literally thought of everything you may need! From an honor bar, to face wipes, to phone chargers by the beds, they really outdid themselves. They left a very sweet personalized message on the fridge for us and even left a delicious bottle of wine. We will definitely be booking this property when we return to Kerrville. Prime location, adorable home, and extremely thoughtful hosts... definitely 10 out of 10 stars!

Great property!
We really enjoyed our stay - had everything we were looking for and more. We hiked at Lost Maples and also visited the Caverns of Sonora. The kitchen was well stocked, beds were really comfy, everything was very clean. Grilled dinners, made smores over the firepit and the hot tub felt great. Definitely ride the bikes at the River Trail, so close. This is a great find - highly recommend.

We loved staying in this gorgeous little home for the Triathlon weekend. The neighborhood is older but there are many renovated homes and we felt safe walking our dogs. There is a river trailhead nearby. The home is well decorated with super easy check in and check out. One of my favorite VRBO stays!

Adorable house close to riverwalk
Such a cute property! The decor just makes you feel happy and everything you would need is provided. We arrived to a personal greeting on the fridge for our granddaughter's 1st birthday and a lovely bottle of wine. The house was very clean and the beds were comfy. Enjoyed the grill and great outdoor area. The bikes were used to go down to the river area. Our family had a terrific stay and we would definitely recommend to others!
