We enjoyed our stay.

Peaceful setting with countryside views and a great outside space for our dog. Short walk to the lake.

No air conditioning and it was particularly hot this August.

A fantastic holiday

Location was great. Lovely hosts. Lovely & private with nothing in front of the house other than fields/garden. We loved the pool and the outdoor area. Comfy bed. Well equipped kitchen. Good shower. Would definitely return.

Perfect for a countryside break in peace and quiet.

Excellent location for a nice peaceful break. The Gite was perfect for what we needed with plenty of outdoor space for our mad Spaniel to run around in. Spent a lot of time in the pool in the afternoon as the weather was fantastic and the property has the sun all day long. Can't wait to return.

Absolutely not up to our expectations as per the description and price.

Kitchen well equipped. Bathroom spacious with a good shower.

The written accommodation specs did not seem to match the reality. The welcome pack was extremely minimal, with some packs that had been previously opened. No hairdryer was provided until we asked for it. The 'free toiletries' appeared to be a collection of items left by previous guests. We failed to get the TV Freeview and radio to work - there was no operation manual. We did not find a barbecue. The plunge pool ladder fixings need attention and the decking is in need of replacement.The 'garden view' was a partially mowed field. The bathroom sink appeared to be coming away from the wall. The gite appeared to have been unused for a while, was not well-cleaned and felt disappointingly over-priced. We never met our hosts.

Superb

We enjoyed the peace and quiet, the location was lovely with a lake to walk round near by. Ideal location to take some time out of the rat race. Great base to visit lots of interesting sites near by. The host was friendly and helpful but left us alone to enjoy our stay.

Incredible.

Just returned from the property after staying there for a wedding close by, had the most incredible stay. The property was exactly as anticipated and more. If your looking for relaxing, beautiful and most importantly peaceful setting this is the one for you, and the stars of an evening are sensational. The owner Vince who also lives on the property behind was great, very helpful with contact numbers for local taxis etc. Also very nice friendly and nice. A great host. The accommodation itself was very spacious FULLY EQUIPPED like home from home. we’re already awaiting for flights to be available to book again for next year, wouldn’t say a car isn’t an absolute necessity but the local village which is beautiful is a 45 minute walk both ways. Or 10-15 euros in a cab. The property is also overlooking a lake, and with only short distance from the accommodation another added bonus for those who absolutely love the outdoors. Definitely would rate this 10-10. Thanks for your hospitality.

First Class, holiday destination with many places to visit.

Location is great, everything that we were looking for including the weather. The facilities were good and so was the the Wi-Fi. The property was clean and fresh on arrival and care had been taken with Covid cleaning. We would defiantly go again.

Beautifully relaxing stay.

Very near the lake which is beautiful. Lovely kitchen with everything you'd need. Lovely bathroom with great shower. Comfortable seating. Everything's provided, towels, pool towels (although we didn't need them in late October), cleaning materials etc. We had beautiful weather for late October even though the mornings and evenings were a little chilly and we needed the (electric) heating - a wood burner would be nice. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again given the chance.

Sat nav found it a little difficult to find but not insurmountable.

Superb

The house was as shown in the photos. The kitchen was well equipped. The bed was comfortable. Overall a very quiet stay for ten days. The owner lives on the property in a house next door. The nearest village is 10 minutes by car and has all the necessary amenities.

Amazing, quiet place to yourself!

We truly loved how peaceful it is, surrounded by nature. And at night you can look up and see a million stars, since there’s no light pollution!

It’s a little hard to find via Google Maps, we couldn’t find it ourselves. But luckily the landowner came to pick us up next door. Also the sunbeds are a little saggy, but with a cushion it’s comfortable enough!
