About this townhouse rental

This gorgeous Corona Del Mar 2 bedroom, 2 bath residence features an abundance of natural light, a dutch door entry, open living space with wood burning fireplace, a large fully stocked kitchen with marble counters, a semi built-in dining nook, pantry and bedroom suite. Wood floors and wood paneling run throughout the property with a high attention to detail. The entry floor bedroom is complete with en-suite bathroom, a marble walk-in shower, and french doors that open to a deck with a BBQ shared off of the kitchen.

Heading upstairs, there is another set of french doors leading to a larger sun deck, with harbor views, outdoor seating and coffee table; the perfect spot for morning breakfast, or a sunset dinner. The remainder of the upstairs is the master loft suite that is open to the downstairs. There is a large king bed, soaking tub, sink and counter, marble shower, and separate toilet. Another wood burning fireplace, and a reading chair complete the setup. The ceiling is a a multi peaked affair with several dormers and semi-exposed beams.

This home is on an elevated lot and sits at the back of the property over the parking area. The available parking is a one car garage, and a separate carport for a total of two. The trash enclosure and laundry room are adjacent to the carport with a stairway heading up to the living space. The laundry room shared with the front unit. The apartment was very nice with high-quality fixtures and amenities. Overall a great stay. Just a couple of comments the bedroom upstairs is loft-style so not super convenient if staying with other people who like to stay up late or get up early. Also, the property manager does not provide any extra towels or beach gear, they are available for rental, which for a beach house seems a bit stingy. They also don't provide any cleaning equipment like a broom or vacuum, which is also too bad.

The property was great. The management company was a little disorganized, gave us the wrong code for the lockbox, the wifi and cleanup instructions were different from what the owner had posted inside the home. Screws were falling out of the door to the deck and the toilet paper holders were falling off.
