Prachtig gelegen B&B met een super gastvrouw

-Rustig gelegen tussen de wijngaarden -Vriendelijkheid van de gastvrouw -zwembad met uitzicht -goede ligging, niet ver van Italiaanse grens

We hadden 2 studiio's. In één was er geen verduistering in de kamer, waardoor je sneller wakker bent.

Totale ontspanning

Het was een feestje om hier te mogen verblijven. De gastvrijheid en het fijne ontvangst. Het estate is goed onderhouden en er is aandacht voor kleine details. Er is een mooie keuken die tot je beschikking staat om je zelf te voorzien van een heerlijk glaasje wijn of een kopje koffie. Onze kamer met terras was schoon en de bedden waren heerlijk.

Er is niets wat ons niet beviel.

Lovely estate with wonderful host and stunning views!

Very warm welcome by Miriana with some of their Teran wine which we loved! Great views from the garden, whilst sitting by the fire pit and the pool. Clean comfortable room with small kitchen annex (but breakfast is too good to be using the kitchen). Good local knowledge and recommendations for excursions and food & wine.

Should have stayed longer 😉 All was as described and how we expected it. We’ve had a wonderful time!

Everything was great & beautiful, but the special round of applause goes to the host who was truly amazing & made you feel like home from the second you check-in. Truly outstanding experience, both in terms of hospitality and wine. This is also a great starting point for your Teran wine experience in Karst. The host will tell you all about the do’s and dont’s of the region so you can enjoy your time to the fullest. If you want to just chill and relax with a view, this place has you covered as well. We couldn’t be more satisfied, it is a definite „go!” in our book.

A real gem - can’t wait to return!

A real gem. We received a wonderful welcome from Mirjana, who greeted us with a glass of her fine Teran and we felt instantly at home. Skerlj is a historic wine estate which goes back six generations to 1788; our room was cosy and full of character with beautiful old furniture. Delicious breakfasts with homemade eggs, local jams and honeys etc. Mirjana gave us some excellent recommendations for dinner both nights. A lovely place to wind down and enjoy the atmosphere with the friendly cats and elderly dog. Thoroughly recommended, we can’t wait to return!

mirjana is the best host ever. simply put. the property is a wonderfully historic, well renovated winery/ farm property, very quiet, scenic, beautiful.

if you are looking for nightlife, you are out of luck.

We had a Warm and friendly welcome. It's such a beautiful place. Authentic and with a great view over the vineyards. Breakfast is also really good. Nona gave us a lot of information and answered all of our questions. We would like to come back to this place!

We loved everything about this place!

Dreamy setting, with the pool facing the wineyards. Perfect for a relaxing and quite holiday, but also well located to visit the caves, castle etc. Charming and elegant yet very cost, with a family vibe about ut. Amazing breakfast and wine tasting. The host was super helpful, kind and warm. We loved everything about this place!

Beautifil place with exceptional hospitality

Beautiful family estate tacked away in a small village. The place is so nice and quiet, perfect place to spend the last couple of days of our holiday. The small swimming pool was a nice surprise. In the evening We sat by the pool to enjoy their wines. The hospitality of the owners were exceptional. The kind of place you want to come back.

Charming and authentic place

Beautiful location, great for hiking and cycling; other places such as skocjan caves and Trieste are nearby for a day trip. The accomodation has an really authentic look and feel and Mirjana is a wonderful host. We definitely recommend the breakfast and wine tasting.

Welcoming hosts in a great location, with delicious food and fresh fruit

Hosts made sure we felt welcome throughout the stay, put out plenty of fresh fruit and prepared a great breakfast both mornings. The rooms are newly renovated (restored) and comfortable and the location is in the middle of Carst with lots of opportunities for Hiking and Cycling. Since my brother is getting married next weekthe host even prepared a small gift for him!

Wonderful Bed & Breakfast with vineyards

Great family owned Bed & Breakfast with wonderful hosts. Big room with good airconditioning. We have had a great experience, also with a wine tasting (incl. local food) with wines from their own vineyards. Good location to explore both Slovenia and Italy (Triest area) from. During weekend the restaurant in the village is a Great visit for good authentic food (5 min walk).
