Amazing location

The view from the room was incredible and it was in easy walking distance to the Segla and Hesten trailheads.

A perfect base for trekking in the area, Segla & Hesten.

Viihtyisä majoitus hyvällä sijainnilla suhteessa Seglan ja Hestenin vaelluksiin. Auton sai parkkiin huoneen eteen. Majoituspaikan yhteydessä on pieni baari, josta saa hampurilaisia ja fish&chipsiä. Huoneessa on jääkaappi. Lähellä on 24/7 ruokakauppa.

Huone oli varsin pieni. Agressiivisesti poikasiaan suojelleet lokit hyökkäilivät niin, että terassia oli vaikeaa käyttää.

Amazing stay…very memorable

The view from the bed was amazing. The shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water. The staff were friendly and all necessities were provided. There is a pub and grill next door serving food up until 22:00 which was very convenient and the burgers were delicious. There is a small supermarket 8 mins walk away. The area is spectacular and quiet and there is direct access to both Segla and Hesten climbs right behind the accommodation.

Perfect

I never rate hotels or places that I stay but I felt that after this stay I really needed to send them my positive feedback. Me and my mother stayed at Segla Bed & Go for three nights in June 2023. The staff were the most welcoming, friendly and kind we have met for a long time. They lend us their personal walking sticks, gave us fans without us asking as it was really warm and made us feel really welcome. Could not be happier with our stay and would recommend anyone going to Senja to stay here.

In general there were a lot of bugs at Senja this year so would recommend anyone going that you should bring a really strong bug spray.

It’s good if you are in Senja to hike Hesten and Segla trails

The location is extremely convenient if you visit Senja to hike Hesten and Segla trails. The hotel is literally located at both trail heads.

There is no reception. Prior to check-in, I received a message via booking.com with code to the lockbox to retrieve the room key. After we checked in, we sent a request message via booking.com and never received a reply during our 3 night stay, so basically we were on our own the entire time.

Perfect location for a hike to Hesten

The proximity to Hesten & Segla hiking trails! The room was a good size and the food at the bar and grill was delicious. There was parking out front which was very convenient.

The room was a little hot and couldn't figure out how to keep the heat down. Not many shops or anything, but if you're there for the nature and views, then that won't be a problem.

Clean and nicely decorated room. Great location for the nearby hikes.

Even more expensive than Lofoten in the low season, so the price could be lower, especially when no breakfast is offered.

Exceptional

Where do I even start? This place blew my expectations out of the water! The location is perfect as it is situated right at the base of Mount Segla, and the best hikes in the area are literally right outside your doorstep! The room is not only comfortable, but also decorated incredibly well and the bed is big and comfortable! The bathroom was clean and had heated flooring, plus the shower was excellent with great water pressure! We met the owner and she was easily approachable and talking with her showed how passionate she was about her operations and guest experience! We also rented snow shoes and hiking poles from this place for a reasonable price and it made our hike so much more enjoyable. Overall I cannot say enough about how great this experience was! Would absolutely go back to Segal Bed & Go again!

superb stay with good location

location is very good, just below segla trail starting point and close to hesten too. the room was comfortable, although a bit small but it is still comfortable, and it is warm.

would like to have small kitchen if able to, since only have 1 restaurant at this village.

Stunning mountain view and lake at the surrounding areas.The property are very new and modern.Very comfortable bed and good night sleep.It’s warm and comfortable enough inside the room and bathroom despite the freezing cold weather.The restaurant beside the accommodation serve delicious and great food.We also manage to get a free charging for car which also help on our budget.

Amazing rooms that are definitely not expensive enough.

The rooms were incredible; modern, clean, very beautiful and with a fantastic view. The location is also amazing. If you like hiking, you could be here a week without getting bored.

Literally the only thing was that it was quite hot in the room and we couldn't seem to adjust it ourselves, but we're also too lazy to go ask so that is on us. This is a great property with amazing value.

Hike, eat and sleep

The owner was very nice, very talkative. She always meets us with the smile and ready to accommodate. She always offer coffee in the morning which is very nice. The hike to hesten and segla starts within 5 minutes of walking from the hotel.

There are not many bus connections in a day to reach there

Beautiful rooms in beautiful surroundings right next to Segla

We loved our stay here. The room is beautiful, well designed, and comfortable, with lots of small, thoughtful, and luxurious elements like cushions for the outdoor chairs and cozy blankets. The room has everything you need, with a fridge, hot water kettle, and a nice coffee tray. Beautiful lighting, and comfortable seating indoors too, from which you could gaze out the enormous windows at the fjord and nearby mountains. The bed is very comfortable, and the bathroom is great. We also had a great dinner at the Segla Pub og Grill (which runs the hotel), after hiking Segla and Hesten. The proprietor and staff were both very friendly and kind. We really enjoyed our veggie burger and fish burger, and beers. Nice selection of cakes, ice creams, chocolates, and snacks for sale as well. Take your dessert onto the outdoor terrace, and admire the mountains!

The view from the bed to the fjord and the mountains is gorgeous. The room is really nice and new , the seating area outside and the option of blankets that you can take with you , seat and chill is amazing. Location is great - right beside the Segla trailhead.

That in the shower the water was lukewarm. It wasn't depend on which time we took a shower still wasn't even close to hot, It was disappointing. The breakfast was given as take away , for my opinion for that price that they charge for a room it can be better.

the room was so cute with an amazing view. having the cafe right next door also helped!

the only complaint I have (which wouldn’t really be a complaint) is the “breakfast”. having it delivered the night before plus being sandwich food didn’t seem like breakfast and not much of a choice for picky eaters.

Staff gentle , friendly and helpful,the room was a bit cold when we arrive and the owner quickly brought us a electric stove,nice view from the big window.

The breakfast has to be consumed in the room,it would be better to have a proper place to have breakfast .

A beautiful and peaceful location with superb views & service.

A gorgeous room in a beautiful location with excellent service. The massive breakfast provided each morning lasted me the whole day. Camilla went above and beyond to make my stay a great one.

Not a dislike really but the balcony would be great in summer. I was there in winter so it was covered in snow.

Thanks for the nice stay

The very nice warm and welcoming hostess! Felt really welcome and the location and rooms are clean, and look amazing new and modern.

Breakfast has room for improvement, but keeping it in a budget and since everyone tends to go hiking early it is a smart way to hang it on the room door and have the eggcooker.
