An excellent base to enjoy Abergavenny itself and to do local walks

Would stay again for sure. We didn't get to met the host but we had a message was sent to say where the keys were - very easy. The property was well equipped and laid out for the size - and couldn't ask for more facilities - and it was also very clean on arrival. It includes a small outside area which we used for early evening drinks. We really liked the location for getting into Abergavenny itself and enjoyed a mix of cooking & going for meals. We were also able to do local walks from the house. This is a real bonus and we left the car for a couple of days!

The bed was too soft for us. The ensuite is open plan (ish) with the bedroom which required a little co-ordination between us. There didn't appear to be a welcome booklet which might have been useful. If we had stayed for longer we would have needed to empty the recycling. A second silicone oven mitt would also have been helpful.

The location is ideal. Easy walk to town and with the benefit of parking.

An unusual property but was absolutely perfect for our stay with a small kitchen/living room area as well as a small patio to sit outside & relax. The owner was lovely & could not have been more helpful. The property was well equipped, spotlessly clean & everything looked fresh & new. Parking was very convenient too.

It was cosy, but not claustrophobic, and had everything I needed. Really well decorated and set up. Ten minute walk from the town centre, and ten minutes from the train station.

Really enjoyed our stay

incredibly clean, comfortable and very well thought out property. lovely little private patio which caught the sun. literally, all the mod-cons. wifi was fine for general surfing and a bit of streaming (hint - connect to the TP link and password in on the sticker underneath) perfect landlady, too. friendly and approachable but gave us space. will definitely stay here again when visiting family...and to fuss Boo Boo the shitzu ;)

Lovely place to stay

Great location, 10 -12 minute walk into town. Nicely decorated, very clean, comfortable bed, nice private patio area outside. Coffee cafeteria - so bring your coffee with you Decent Hairdryer

No better base for exploring the Brecon Beacons with only a short walk into Abergavenny

Very comfortable accommodation with an ideal location in an area of outstanding natural beauty!!! The small patio area was used extensively after long walks in the Brecon Beacons and a great place to relax. Quiet, comfortable with everything you can need on a short break we will be back.

Lovely little place, will definitely return.

Amazing little space with great facilities. Quiet location but very close to the station and town for cafes, shops and attractions. Comfy and cosy. Would certainly make use of patio space in summer.

A comfortable place to stay for a week or more.

The property is a detached two room bungalow that has been very recently updated; it is in great condition and includes a cook top and oven, so I was able to prepare some of my meals in the flat. The space was comfortable and the host was very accommodating. There is a small outdoor patio with a table and chairs to enjoy the outdoors with a glass of wine. I stayed for 8 nights and I found the stay quite enjoyable.

Parking is a bit of a guess as there is no specific spot to park. However, it was never an issue to find a spot within a few meters of the entrance to the flat.

Very good

A very nicely done apartment with the facilities well organised. A comfortable bed. Parking straightforward outside the property and a 10 minute walk to the town centre. Found it a really good base for touring in the area and some good walks close by. A likeable and helpful host.

I think many would prefer it to have WiFi but it is advertised as not having it.

Successful trip

Excellent location. Attractive very new conversion with good quality fittings and tasteful decor. Inevitably a few teething problems which the owner is addressing.

We expected a functioning television. Not a fan of 'open plan' toilets No instruction manuals for kitchen equipment

Lou was an amazing host! Super kind, friendly, welcoming and also gave us some recommendations of places to visit near by! The apartment was so lovely, perfect for what we wanted, clean, cosy and bright! The garden view is very beautiful too. We would definitely stay again. Thanks for everything Lou!

Cute, comfy and clean little apartment

Lovely little apartment, very comfy and clean, lovely host! We were apparently the first people to stay there, we were made to feel very welcome though. Cute shared garden out the back.

Could do with a mirror? Totally understandable not to notice that given nobody has stayed there before!
