nice value and size related to the cost, Montezuma is a nice location

it was a nice little house on a hill not far from the village, with a covered terrace and upper open space with extra bed and living room with sliding glass panels. The host was very flexible and kind.

the equipment was a bit out of date and not really clean in some details..

Our favourite stay in Costa Rica!

This house is absolutely amazing! So much space, hammock outside, beautiful views! Kitchen is fully equipped, even a smoothie maker! The location is great, up on the hill, but you can walk or hitchhike up or down, the locals are so friendly. We saw so much wildlife around the house, including toucans on our window seal! Exequiel was a super star host, helped us so much during our stay. I really cannot recommend this place enough, I’ll definitely stay here again when I’m back, 100%!

Amazing second floor with big windows and nice to chill, large kitchen and basics including seasoning for cooking. Very nice host who answered all our questions.

As mentioned by others the distance to town isn't far but very steep. Not really made for walking. But this doesn't keep us from giving this place ten points.

We loved our stay at Montezuma hills

The place was beautiful, comfortable and clean. we loved our stay there and will gladly return. The host was very friendly and helpful.

Getting there by foot from town is possible, but it’s up hill and at night a short cab ride is needed. but definitely worth it.

Heavenly house in Montezuma

This place is AMAZING! Very nice house in the jungle. You experience it all. Howler monkeys, lots of birds, squirrels, agoutis, lezards, iguanas. The giant windows on the second floor allow the wind to refresh the place. The house is perfectly decorated and super clean. Everything was thought through and is well constructed. It is a heavenly place where you can spend time to relax and just enjoy life. Plus, the owner is very nice, helpful and always available. We would go back anytime!

The host was very attentive. The accommodation was very spacious.

It was hot with no ac. The main complaint we have was upon arrival. There was no sign at the place or anyone to greet us. It was dark and we were not sure where to go. It turned into a fiasco with one of our group getting hurt by falling into a ditch.

Great experience overall of Monte Zuma !

I absolutely LOVED this house. The kitchen had everything you needed and the house was completely surrounded with flowers and trees making it super private. My favorite part was the upstairs area with the hammock and sofa. The host was very nice even when he saw us in town. It is a great location near waterfalls and the beach, and I would 100% book this house again! Thank you thank you thank you =]
