Absolutely spotless, well decorated, comfortable and cozy, perfect for our stay will book here again without hesitation

There wasn’t anything not to like? There was a bit of noise from the coop getting deliveries in the morning but other than that it was perfect

Very suitable for an overnight stay.

We needed somewhere to stay before we caught the ferry to Orkney the next morning. We found the property close to the city centre , quiet and easy to find parking on the street.

Was a little dark inside but that did’t matter as we only stayed one night.

The flat is looked aftre as its owner's home with high specification such as Sky TV , TV's in each rooms including Kitchen whiich you dont expect in rshort letting properties . The flat is super clean and has its own small nicely done garden..

Great location, Everything in one place

They had everything you needed there including laundry. If you need to dry clothes quickly, there is a laundromat across the street. The location is great as the high street is just a few minutes walk and you are within walking distance to two supermarkets. Also, everything was labeled so it was easy to find what you needed or know what to do.

Great holiday home, would like to come back.

Easy to find. Very nice rooms, interior etc. Quick and super easy to be in contact with owner when we had questions or needed help. Close to stores and restaurants. I forgot something when we left and the owner promised to help us post it to our home address. That’s top notch service!

An ideal property to call home for a few days on the road. Incredibly quiet despite being a 2 minute walk from the A9. All the homely comforts including a much needed washing machine + multiple bathrooms to help us get out the door that bit earlier each morning.

Comfortable, centrally located 2bed-bath house in Thurso.

I was visiting Shetland and Orkney islands with a group of 4 friends. We arrived at the mainland Scotland through the Scrabster ferry terminus with a late arrival at 18h45 in the evening. The access was very simple and explained in detail by the host which made our late night arrival pretty smooth. The location of the house is central and the railway station is walkable with a lot of restaurants nearby. The best part about the house was the spacious rooms. Living room (comfy recliners) and the kitchen (well equipped) were the highlight. All the house rules were clearly explained by the document in the house and the host accommodated our request as we were there with a check-in late in the evening. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to stay again when in Thurso.

I don't think there is much to complain about the house in general, except for some minor cleanliness issues in the Bedroom and Bathroom. It was evident that the cleanliness has been outsourced and have been done in haste. However, it was not a major issue as the level of cleanliness was acceptable and can happen occasionally with hotel rooms as well.

The location is great, there is a big Co-op next to the property and the resturant Y'not is quite good and value for money too. The Host Ian called me upon arrival to make sure everything is ok, he is very helpful because we forgot our scarf in the wardrobe when checkout but Ian posted it back to us! The flat is very clean and tidy, facilities are all new and it's like a nice home during the trip!

We couldn't of asked for a better location as we were so close to the British legion club where we were playing.we will certainly use this boarding house again when we are back up in Thurso. Very friendly host. House was lovely inside. Deceptively large. Everything you could possibly need and all to a high standard. Beds were very comfy. 2 mins from shops and pubs but still peaceful. Sea and river just a few mins too. We found this place at short notice as our ferry got cancelled and was tempted to stop an extra night it was so comfy 😀

beautiful place to stay

absolutely amazing stay for the weekend whilst we attended a wedding dance on the Saturday night, the house was lovely and just ticked off all the boxes for what we needed. everything was so local to get to if we needed to get anything and our visit was just great we will definitely come back again.

A lovely house, clean, warm, very suitable for a family. I regret that I didn't bring my family as it was a business trip. opposite to the place is a fish&chip shop, very popular, many people queuing outside when I arrived at 18:00 pm. and there is a co-op supermarket behind it. so very convenient.

Recently renovated property that had everything we needed and more. It was so comfortable with a lovely yard with lots of seating had the sun actually shone. Lovely break from our campervan to rest up whilst doing the NC500.
