Bad

I dont know. The rigmarole to actually book it was too complex I didn't end up going. Id checks, deposit plus I had to upload some official document which I didn't have so they wouldn't accept my booking. Took hours to get to the point I couldn't book on somdidnt go and cancelled.it. never had such a problem when using booking.com. would never use again.

anywhere else probably better

interesting view watching boats coming in and out the harbour. liked the kitchenette - cooked a great breakfast each day!

the double bed was not a standard double so was very small. they had said that the sofa bed would be made up but it wasn’t and it could not be opened so we had to sleep on the floor. the place was dirty. there were no staff on site nor available for the two days we were there. just to be really cheap they had watered down the soap in the bathroom. just odd! it’s a pretty grim location so they need to work to make it more pleasant.

got sent the incorrect door codes so was stuck outside and had to call up to get the correct ones then got sent them incorrect a second time so had to call up again. road works we’re going on outside throughout the evening and was only offered to move rooms the morning of my checkout

It was OK. I would stay again but would bring my own towels and a few cloths to wipe things down.

Quiet building, parking was a bonus. Close to local shops. Fully equipped with a washer/dryer, kitchen appliances, TV and WiFi.

It was tidy but not very clean. There was dark hair everywhere, including inside the towels and bedding. Quite dusty, especially in the bedroom.

Uncomfortable and dirty.

Where do I start! After having messages daily from the day I booked until the day I arrived at the property asking for £150 for a deposit and asking for authorisation for them to take the money I had already paid - at least I thought. It was just constant messages. I was also asked to send them my passport photo for some reason. Honestly you would have thought I was trying to access the nuke codes. I arrived at the property and it was filthy! I don’t know who they hire to clean but I would be looking at getting new housekeepers. When I arrived the housekeeper hadn’t bothered to come clean the apartment before I arrived (see photos). I was then made to stay in a hotel for the night because even though the cleaner couldn’t be bothered to clean in the day they refused to come back and clean. This was after I was told I couldn’t check in early because the cleaner was in the apartment ‘cleaning’. So after travelling five hours to Lowestoft and having plans I was forced to stay in a hotel for one night and then had to go out and buy more food because the food I had brought to cook in the apartment couldn’t be cooked in a hotel. I then returned the next day after the ‘cleaning’ had been done and it was still filthy! The cleaner had literally only changed the beds the shower had hair all in the toilet had skids and hadn’t been flushed or cleaned. The apartment had a funny smell to it and the equipment in the kitchen was filthy. The bed was cheap and very uncomfortable and the sofa was also cheap and uncomfortable. I am now being ignored about getting a refund for the one night I couldn’t stay! I have messaged and phoned and nothing. So after being told I couldn’t come to the apartment before 4pm because the cleaner was in there ‘cleaning’ I was presented with a filthy apartment and it turned out the staff had lied to me because no one had cleaned it.

I had booked a two floor, one double bedroom apartment, for my partner and I for the week over Valentines. The room we were given was a standard one bedroom apartment but with two single beds. Rubbish was found under the beds, evidently not been properly cleaned. Access codes to the building and apartment were given only a couple hours before check-in (which is understandable) but for the entire duration of my stay, the access door was left unlocked. No access code was needed the entire night when we arrived, to when we left the next morning. We had called to complain once we got in and was told that it was the room we booked, but could have the beds pushed together the next day if necessary. After having spent the night in separate beds for valentines, we emptied the apartment of our own items and went on a day out, expecting a simple room change on our return. I call in the day to check for an update and told that it was a system glitch on their end, but we still couldn’t get the room we booked, only the beds pushed together. Not happy with the result, we only spent one night at the apartment and didn’t return. Requested straight away for a refund and told 3-5 days to process the refund. 7 days later I call again for an update, to find out I’ve been offered 25% off my next stay. I am still waiting for a full refund, including the deposit required. All I was told was that my complaint has been noted and I will find out in 24-48 hours if I get my refund. I will not be staying at Waveney Chambers again, or anywhere else with with company.

Very nice tidy apartment

No brush and pan to tidy up. Was locked out of room, code didn't work and had to wait 50 mins in car for it to be sorted. Was very cold evening and not what you want after days shopping

Family stay

Everything you need in an apartment.

Their lift is always locked/out of use. Not great when you need to carry a pram up 3 flights if stairs. Windows let alot of cold air in but heaters soon heat up the room. Half a loo roll provided.

Rear flat slightly uncomfortable and very noisy

Easy to access, clean inside, looked recently refurbed

The furnishing were cheap, the mattress was cheap. The windows all looked out a back alley which was the back of shops, takeaways and a Wetherspoons. The sound of bottles being emptied into biffa bins until the early hours wasn’t fun. Wouldn’t have minded so much if it was dirt cheap but it really wasn’t.

Never again

The apartment was quite spacious.

Location was in a very scruffy part of the town. The outside area was very run down. It's on a main road so very noisy. Locals use the parking spaces so there was no parking. There was no storage in one of the apartments we booked, no wardrobe or drawers so we had to live out of our suitcase. The other apartment did not have a sea view despite booking and paying for a sea view, the windows had frosted glass. The 2nd apartment had a bedside lamp but no socket so it could not be used. We could not access the apartment without having to twice ring the office to get the codes. A weekend away should not be this much hard work. We paid lots for these apartments, it just felt like a massive rip-off.

Booked sea view. It did not but overlooked a car park at the back of a pub which emptied bottles most of the night. Despite completing online checkin the details did not get sent through so had to ring to find out codes.

No chance of sleeping

Bed was comfy

I probably had the worst sleep imaginable. The noise of the seagulls went all night long I know that’s not the host fault but I’ve never experienced anything like it. Also in an apartment there was no mirror to get ready? I had to go out to B&M and actually buy one (£12). Looks smaller in real life than pics. Not worth £150 for one night sadly
