Die Lage ist genial (Blick auf Wasserfall)

Die Ausstattung des Zimmers ist sehr „basic“. Es erinnert in Teilen an eine Jugendherberge oder an ein etwas komfortableres Zimmer eines Obergefreiten bei der Bundeswehr. Eine Gardine war leicht runtergerissen bzw. ging nicht zu. Es war ständig überheizt. Das Bad sehr klein, zwar sauber, aber nicht modern. Wirkte einfach nicht so wie man es selbst aus 2 Sterne Hotels kennt. Generell braucht das Zimmer einen Make-over, so wie auch das Treppenhaus. Alles sehr lieblos. Wände müssten mal gestrichen werden. An der Rezeption gab es 3 Tage lang zwar sehr nettes, eigentlich nur völlig unerfahrenes Personal, die sich weder auskannten, noch irgendwelche Probleme lösen konnten.

Very underwhelming.

The location is very nice. It's in the middle of town. Access to the large waterfall and other attractions is a plus.

The value for the accommodations. In retrospect, I would much rather have paid more money to stay at a nicer facility. The room smelled funny. There is a fair amount of hallway noise that comes through. The beds are mediocre.

Far too expensive for as poor quality as this place is. The owner clearly does not care. Find Swiss owned lodging!

Location and a nice view.

Well, it is clear that the owner of this property doesn’t care about this property nor guests experiences. This is not even close to Swiss standards! The floors are dirty and cheap fake wood. There is mold around windows. The decor is selected from various thrift shoppes. Not quaint nor stylish. The walls in corridors and rooms are banged up and dirty. The exterior is long past due for cleaning and new paint. Paint is coming off almost everywhere we look. Cigarettes are in all of the planters, there are flooded and slimy balconies. Even though the website indicates that there are coffee/tea makers and breakfast available, none of those were actually available. There is mold in the rooms.

Generally the view from the hotel view is really nice and the hotel rooms are relatively clean.

Generally, the hotel view is really nice (if you have booked with a balcony) and the hotel rooms are relatively clean. Staff are accommodating with our request like checking or changing rooms and waited for us on our 1st day despite its late and beyond their working hours which we appreciate it so much.

There is no breakfast provided as the hotel starts only at 11 or so and only serve lunch and dinner . No basic necessity like shampoo or soap, no hair dryer or even complimentary water. Rooms are not properly checked if doors are properly working or not. And the stairs to go up is very uncomfortable (particularly the spiral staircase on the first floor) esp if there is a lugagge to carry up.

Disappointing stay at Lauterbrunnen

have to go through the restaurant for this booking, but the restaurant only open after 1pm (this was not communicated to us at all). other issues included no hairdryer and toilet door was also unable to be locked. overall very disappointed

Nice view and location but the rooms needed rennovation badly.

The bathroom was so small a tall person can barely move while showering.

A lovely stay- they also let us store our luggage for a while after checkout while we finished exploring the area.

A pleasant and affordable stay in an excellent location.

The rooms were nice for the price. The location was excellent because it was a little further from the center of town so the road/town noise was minimal. It was very close the the Staubbach falls and our room actually looked directly at the waterfall.

The best view, cozy stay.

The location is absolutely amazing. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly and will answer any of your questions. The bed is comfy and our room was very spacious.

The hotel is a little older, our room had a small leak in the bathroom above the sink. Nothing big enough to effected our stay.

Tho action is great, and the view was wonderful. Staff is super friendly.

The location is good, but money wise compared to quality, they are getting the tourist money.

It’s an old building. Had a hard time locking the room when leaving. At 5am we wanted to walk to valley, and by trying to lock the door, we woke up a neighbor who was kind of mad. My finger was red by pushing hard on the key.

Bathroom was tight and floor cracking. The key system was not the best. We had a coffee, we wanted a second one but they asked us to pay for the second one.

Stay was bad. Paid a lot of money for 2 night, but left after first night.

The location and views are great.(not from our room though)

Staff was unfriendly. Internet work on and off. Beds were uncomfortable. Towels smelt mouldy. The shower head sprayed water all over the ceiling and wall when you open tap up fully, you need to lower the pressure in order to have the water run on your body. Staff were being loud in the carpark long after restaurant had closed.

Great location but in dire need of attention.

Location and a terrace with a side-view of the Staubbach waterfall. Reasonably good restaurant. Free parking.

No TV, no toiletries (looks like the soap ran out), no WiFi, dirty terrace. Some staff were dismissive. Hotel seemed unmanned from late evening and the morning.

booking should check its properties more carefully.

not much, except location near the bus stop. view from filthy balcony was good.

staff at reception were rude and unhelpful, room less than basic. we were booked for three nights, stayed one and ate the cost. reservation said breakfast available for extra cost, no breakfast. we had to walk a half mile for coffee. were told breakfast was available next door, which was an empty building. bathroom window would not shut, balcony was filthy. booking should remove this hotel.

I stayed for 5 nites all in all in your hotel.overall i am happy.

wifi is hopeless, the pw given is like a generic but no signal . I manage to find out the ssid and pw on one of the router near my room. it will be good to have a small table and chair for eating and surf on my laptop.

on the main road

there’s nothing at the property, not even a kettle. the check in place isn’t even at the hotel. we had to walk a few hundred meters to another location to check in.

useless service and a dump of a place not happy at all

location and that’s about it

no staff to greet you a sign left out in the dark advising you to go to another hotel for check in, but when you get there the staff at the other hotel have no idea what’s going on and says the owner is crazy, after speaking to other guests who were extremely unhappy they said to go to the base cafe for check in which we did and that was another 250 meters down the road with luggage and snowboards that was fun!! Then once settled in there was still rubbish in the room and no toilet roll and the restaurant and bar was closed the whole time we were there it was an absolute joke of a place

Ruined our stay in Lauterbrunnen.

We were bounced around town trying to find someone to check in with. Apparently this is a common problem. If you don’t have people to open the rooms then don’t say they are available. Then when we finally had the room, no wifi, so cold it didn’t warm up until morning, and heat in bathroom didn’t work at all.

This hotel could not be more basic(which is a nice way of putting it). Check in was strange - we were emailed to check in at another hotel down the street. When we got to that hotel they told us to go back to the first one. When we did get our keys (I booked two rooms) I asked which key was for the “family room” I had booked and reception said they didn’t know and it wasn’t their job to know which rooms offered what. When we eventually got to our room it was not very clean. There were wine spills on the night tables and there were personal belongings (toothpaste, make up) left in the bathroom mirror cabinet. There is also no soundproofing to speak of and during the night there was a rather loud party taking place in a nearby room but as there is no hotel reception there was no one to call to for support in keeping the noise down. The hotel does have a view from some rooms - but it’s lauterbrunnen- views are not hard to find. I do not recommend this hotel.
