Un angolo di pace e relax a pochi chilometri dalla città.

Taverna Centomani è un angolo di pace e relax a pochi chilometri dalla città. Camere confortevoli e pratiche, spazi all'aperto a disposizione e proprietari gentili, disponibili e discreti. Colazione super, con torte fatte in casa, latte nobile, yogurt e kefir di loro produzione. La struttura nasce infatti intorno ad un laboratorio artigianale che lavora il latte nobile per produrre yogurt e formaggi freschi che possono essere acquistati in loco e on line. Notevole il ristorante che propone ricette della tradizione locale basate su ingredienti di altissima qualità.

Tutto si può sempre migliorare, ma lati negativi non ne ho trovati.

Magnificent

It was lovely to experience the ecological friendly farm and meeting with Pino who is so passionate about farming . The area around the farm was beautiful, climbing up the hill. Had a lovely authentic Italian dinner at the restaurant next to the farm , the chef was Pino’s mum in law. Food was great and the chef/ hostess lovely

Excellent stay which surrounded by nature, excellent host & delicious food.

Excellent environment with nice & big room. We arrived late & the host cooked delicious dinner to serve us. We love the dinner room that made us felt like home. Very warm & friendly host who took care of my need all time. Next morning a good breakfast with best Italian yogurt await us. Ms Maria Giulian & her daughter Anna Chiara Affinito were so nice to chat with. The property is surrounded by nature, peaceful & relaxing. An excellent place to stay for vacation.

The address on Booking.com wed page is incorrect. I was directed to the nearby town by G-map many times. At last called the host & she immediately sent a car to lead me in. Super!!!

Warm Welcome, Comfortable Stay

In all our previous travels, we have never felt more welcomed. Pino, Anna, and Anna's mother, Maria, made us feel like a part of their family in every way. Everything we needed was quickly and cheerfully provided, and all our questions were patiently answered. Plus, the fresh, local dishes prepared by Maria we absolutely delicious. We came to Basilicata looking for an authentic Italian experience, and we definitely found it at Taverna Centomani. We made friends and memories there we will carry with us for the rest of our lives. Highly recommend.

This was one of our favourite stays during our 3 weeks in Italy.

The owners were lovely and so hospitable. It was so fun to walk around the farm and view the dairy milking. The rooms were basic but left nothing to be desired. Peno and Anna were wonderful and we would highly recommend that anyone else experience this naturally beautiful farm. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Wonderful sustainable farm with amazingly local and gorgeous food and wine.

This is an amazing place. Maria went out of her way to look after us. The set menu meal was amazing. We loved the sustainable ethos of the place and the fact that this is actually the best yoghurt in Italy! Don’t hesitate to go. It’s a tranquil farm and perfect for a trip to Matera and Puglia.

Beautiful farm, a tranquil stay and a hospitable hostess.

Everything. We love the friendly welcome by Senora Maria. So full of information and patience. Her demeanour suited the tranquility of the place too. We like the hospitality of people in the farm - we could wander around the farm and go close to cows, sheeps, cats and dogs. There were many fruit trees, lavendar and rose plants. The facilities in the room was excellent - modern, clean and eco friendly. Breakfast was very delicious - all made by Senora Maria. We would definitely come back and recommend this place to others. A beautiful stop on the way to Puglia.

That we spent only 2 days there. I would love just to relax there and not just use it as a base to visit other spots

Room was very spacious and clean. Personnel very friendly and the food is great. They make their own milk, yogurt, cheeses and meat. Much attention is paid to sustainability. Animals are farmed without using antibiotics. Heating goes trough solar panels. Rooms have no air conditioning but usually the temperature goes down at night in this region. High ceilings allow warm air to go up and leave rooms fresher. Price quality is very good.

The only thing I didn't like was the steep uphill to reach the place with bumps. It's just a short way but paving that better would be an improvement.

Everything. The rooms are wide and decorated The beds are comfortable and the shower is great. The breakfast is homemade and the host was very kind and helpful.
