Go glamping I'm Feb. Perfect !

Loved the pod. So warm . Perfect size. Bed comfy . Shower was hot and powerful. Fire pit provided (buy or bring firewood) . Made glamping in February perfect .

Pod ceiling covered in cobwebs and I hate (scared) spiders above me. But didn't/ wouldn't complain as it was last minute booking and out of season.

Hidden tranquility 🙏

Absolutely perfect peaceful and quiet is an absolute dream of a picturesque and peaceful secluded location nothing but the noise of nature.

Very pleased of the small touches of comfort all inside a Pandora's box of a camping pod heater panel for towels and an outside washing kitchen cutlery and utensils. The shower and bathroom perfect 👍👍

Good value for money and a lovely night away from busy life!

Location was ideal and quiet… Josephine (host) was welcoming and helpful. Will definitely be returning to stay here again!

Excellent camping in the fields near Tiptree

Excellent location for camping or pod staying, with BBQ facilities, wood for fire and very good shower and toilet facilities. There is drinking water available at the tap and a washing place for dishes. The owners were very helpful and friendly. The fields around the farm are simply from another world; it is so beautiful to watch the sun rise and set over the golden fields. Nearby you can go to Tiptree where there are shops and the very nice Tea Room of the Tiptree jam factory. Either very nice places to visit near by, in order of distance: Monastery of St. John the Baptist, Tolleshunt Knights, Beth Chatto Gardens, West Mersea (great fresh sea food), Clacton on Sea - excellent sandy beach for swimming (water was quite nice for early July, 18 degrees, go a bit higher toward Holland on Sea for easy parking).

Brilliant

The chalet, toliet, bath, everything are clean! And the location is easy to find, bed are comfortable. Private enought, nice view and you can have a little walk. Definitely we will come back.

If there have a small kitchen it will be prefect. But anyway overall are very good.

Facilities were clean, but maybe a light outside them would help in the middle of the night.

Pod retreat worth 10 stars

Friendly welcome, beautiful location, pod set in quiet area backing onto woodlands. Very clean toilet, shower unit. Plenty of wood and bbq, fire pit equipment nearby. Lots of lovely walks with our dog, who absolutely loved it. Pod very clean and comfortable equipped well with fridge, kettle and toaster. And a TV. Only two pods and camping area for tents so not overcrowded and very peaceful. Great value for money and would definitely stay again soon in the future.

Got lost trying to use sat navigation, didn't see any signs for Rockingham Farm, but worth it when we finally arrived.

Fantastic stay in beautiful countryside

Fantastic stay in beautiful countryside. The chalet was so cosy and comfortable, perfect for my stay. Really friendly host, who gave a contact number for any issues, but everything was perfect. Great location for visiting the area. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect stay

Beautiful location. Lovely pods and Jaqueline was super helpful. Cannot wait to go again. The pod was so warm too with the heater, considering it was 2 degrees outside!

We enjoyed our time their, until we got thirsty.

It was a nice little escape away from home for the day, I really loved the location & the fire pit (optional) and the porta loo/shower was better than expected.

Unfortunately we booked for one night, but only managed to stay untill 10pm the day of arrival. Although drinking facilities were there, they were not in use. Our host provided a 1lt bottle of water but there was no information on how to request more. We genuinely left because we were thirsty & we live close by. We did see the point of being uncomfortable, when we had the option not to be.

the bed is a little uncomfortable if your staying for more than one night but everything else is amazing and the views are lovely

This little piggy went to Maldon.

Snug little pod, perfect for one or two people. No thrills but an ideal base for exploring the area. I would definitely use this site again.

The facilities are fairly basic, definitely experienced worse! Some better lighting and paths around the wash area would help. *Read the description! You will need your own bedding!*

Cute little glamping pod near the forest, offering the escape we looked for. Quiet and comfortable.

The pod does need a little more cleaning and the kettle needs to be changed but overall comfortable stay. Also, needed to buy the bedding as this is not provided

Hard to find - no clear signage on road Bit of confusion as to which pod at start but we did arrive later than anticipated thanks to traffic Bed very hard hence why did not stay third night sorry back could not cope No mirror in pod

it was so cosy and comfortable; the facilities were a lot better than expected for a glamping experience. the pod was warm and had a lovely vibe. very rural and peaceful, beautiful location will be perfect in the summer when we can enjoy the outdoors a bit more.
