Churchill cottage was a perfect retreat, offering exceptional comfort, thoughtful touches, and a peaceful atmosphere tha

Lovely cottage: neat, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Undercover off-road parking was very welcome too. We have had a wonderful stay and will definitely stay again if we visit Maryborough. We loved all the extra touches like the loaf of bread and spreads, complimentary spices and oils, detergents etc. The owners are welcoming and great communicators.

Comfy, convenient and easy.

It was homely; spacious but cosy at the same time. It was well situated to walk or drive into Maryborough, an easy drive to Hervey Bay or back to the Bruce to go elsewhere. A big garden, three bedrooms with good beds and two bathrooms makes this property a good choice for a group of friends or a family but it would be a well priced choice for a couple too. The outdoor area was lovely and the provisions of milk and bread was a generous touch.

Exceptional value. A lovely change from stereotypical modern apartments.

Old cottage, but exceptionally clean. Would be a great holiday house to lounge around in for a few days.

Would love to learn a little more about the cottage and neighbourhood history.

I will always stay here when I visit this area!!

All the comforts of home! Similar pricing to motels I’ve stayed in on other trips to the area but more comfortable and full kitchen for cooking my son’s favourite foods while visiting him!!

Relaxed family and friends catch up time

Cleanliness, comfort, nice looking, overall price and space good. Best thing was having our fur babies with us.

Garden needs trimming, sharper carving knife, bigger bathroom mats. Carport a bit tight for bigger vehicles

Every member of the family liked the house & location. Keen to return next year.

Proximity to Brolga Theatre & a corner shop. Out of the “rat race”.

Carport for small-medium car only. Not a game changer though.

Fabulous, comfortable accommodation in beautiful Maryborough.

Loads of little extras left in the kitchen for us, including some bread and milk.

Perhaps some ordinary instant coffee would have been good too.

Extremely clean and comfortable house. In a quiet part of town but only 10 minutes walk to the best little coffee shop (Vintage Bee). And what a pleasant surprise to find a fresh loaf of bread in the fridge!

Wonderful ,first time my husband and I have been by ourselves for a good break for many years

Loved that there was plenty of space to move around and relax .Loved that Jackie and Daryl had thought of everything that we could possibly need,even the bed linen smelled fresh and clean.A nice outdoor area to entertain at .Was even able to have family come and have meals with us a few times.

Well in truth although the lounge chairs were very comfortable they were very low and only tried to sit in them once and hurt myself trying to get up ,probably could be 33 to 40 cm higher and would have been perfect .

Breakfast provisions were provided which was unexpected but a lovely touch

Squeaky floorboards but that's what you get with Queenslander homes :)

I would recommend this property as it has space, secure fencing, ease of layout and comfort.

All good, very clean, spacious, very comfortable and well located. Rooms were welcoming, and bed very comfortable. A lovely hot shower helped. Easy to find and close to all amenities. Very peaceful and restful.

Sadly it rained before and during my stay, which made the under cover parking area saturated so it was all wet and muddy when I got out of the car. The driveway also was like this, which made it a bit awkward to navigate when dressed up in good clothes. (I solved it by wearing thongs and changing at the venue.)

Full of character with all the amenities we needed.

The property is wonderful. Full of character and with all the amenities we needed. Our dog loved the secure yard, and we were confident that she could not get out. The complimentary bread for our morning toast and real milk are a lovely bonus. Thank you.

The gate was a bit difficult for my partner to close.

delightful and relaxing

This is a very comfortable property within a handy part of Maryborough. The cute little house has everything you need and more. The owners keep it fastidiously clean which is a credit to them. We are very much looking forward to coming back.

The owners have nailed the presentation of this house. it is great value and there is nothing I could criticise given the price.

Beautiful & Cosy

It was clean and tidy. Loved the little book about the reno. Had everything we needed, except maybe an extra bin liner.

It's an old house with lots of charm, which means it likes to talk to you while you're walking around. No sneaking around in this house :)
