A cozy, comfortable location with wonderful staff.

This property has a great location just a short walk to the center of Gaios but is far enough away to be peaceful and quiet - best of both worlds. The room was clean, comfortable and nicely appointed. The staff were friendly and exceedingly helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to to stay here again.

There was nothing worthy of complaint. It would be great to have a coffee maker in the room but we knew there wasn't one before booking. There is an electric kettle for making tea.

Exceptional

Wonderful location with amazing balcony views overlooking the sea and Gaios town. The room was large and had a big comfortable bed, there was a lot of room to keep luggage and move around, a nice sitting area and good bathroom also. A magical place to stay and enjoy Paxos. Warm hospitality and very helpful family run hotel. Highly recommend.

This is a budget hotel and not worth the money.

Great location, close to topwn and great views. Seems like a family run business and they were very nice,

Lack of staff. Had to carry own bags up many steps to room and nobody to help on arrival or departure. No hot water most of the time. You need to shower at night and even then, it was only lukewarm one night. Breakfast was very disappointing, very basic.

The Perfect Place in Paxos!

Margina Residence Hotel is probably one of the best places to stay if you’re visiting Paxos. The location is perfect, just a five minute walk out of town - far enough to be away from the noise and bustle, yet close enough to be able to walk off that evening meal! Every room has its own balcony facing the sea, so it doesn’t matter which one you have, you’ll have plenty to see with lots of boats and yachts of all sizes, making their way to, and from , Gaios harbour. The beds are built-in, in the traditional way, and are surprisingly comfortable, and there’s plenty of space for all your luggage, with everything you need for a holiday - including a steam iron! if you book here, don’t forget to order the breakfast, which is fabulous. George’s mother is up at five every morning to bake the pastries, including the spinach pies, cheese pies and chicken pies, as well as the sweeter options. And sitting on the breakfast terrace while you have your morning coffee is the perfect start to the day. The welcome is warm and sincere and ALL the staff, from Jerry, to George, Maria and Anna, go out of their way to make sure you have all you need. I would absolutely recommend Margina as a wonderful place to stay and, next year, we WILL be back, without a doubt!

A fabulous base from which to enjoy Paxos, couldn't have been more friendly and helpful.

Beautiful views and just a few minutes walk from the main square with many restaurants, bars, shops. Such a friendly, homely place to stay with exceptional, freshly cooked breakfast choices. George and his Mum made everything so easy, helping us to book a boat, making reservations for us at a fabulous beach club, transporting us from the hydrofoil port. We would love to go back.

Superb

Stunning views and great location, 4 minutes gentle walk to the centre of Gaios. Everyone connected with Margina are so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The place itself is like a little museum with so many historical nautical items scattered about. The rooms and surrounding public areas are immaculate and well maintained.

Maybe the door to the bathroom could be a little more bespoke. It didn't quite shut properly. However this didn't affect our appreciation of a great residence.

EVERYTHING...the location is great, the staff are truly kind and go above and beyond to make your stay special, the room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, with a spectacular view. This is the sort of place you return to again and again for a relaxing break, on a stunning island, staying in super accommodation looked after by staff who care. Thanks to you all, we will be back! Ps...lemonade on arrival was delicious and coffee's on the balcony brought to us were much appreciated, thank you x

The view was amazing and the staff was doing his b at to accommodate us properly.

The staff was not able to provide a receipt (only a manual one) and send it by email. In addition they didn’t accept card.

Nice view and near to the centre. Breakfast could have been better

The big rooms with extraordinary view to the sea. The Lady who hosted us lets you feel like your mom and gives the hotel taste of home. The location and naearness to the centre

They had only small mirrors. The breakfast was always the same. They could have diversity with fruits and vegetables. We wanted fresh towels (from the old man :))and didnt get some. That was very unkind.

Stunning location

Rooms with amazing sea views are spacious and reasonably comfortable. Nice breakfast served outside. Friendly and helpful staff.

Perhaps just a touch too expensive for what you get (but granted the island is expensive for good reason) and a lot of services cost extra.

The BEST place to stay in Paxos!

Everything! The staff, first and foremost, are the sweetest, kindest, and most helpful hosts. The fresh baked goods for breakfast every morning were far superior to what I was expecting. The view from the balcony of the sea, the harbour, and the multimillion dollar boats was exceptional. Many restaurants within walking distance, all with delicious cuisine at affordable prices. Swimming area directly across the street with clear water. Everything was superb.

We loved everything about our stay here. The only thing we didn't like was that we didn't book our stay for longer. We stayed four nights in Sidari before coming to stay in Gaios for two nights at Margina Residence and we should have flipped those stays, or even only stayed at Margina's.

Superb

Really comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. Margina and her parents were so friendly and hospitable and could not do enough for us even ferrying us to and from Marmaris beach. Mama’s cooking was something else, will need to get back on the treadmill after those breakfasts! A huge thank you to them all with virtual hugs from us both.

Handhelds showers are a bit of a pain but a minor issue really

A Room with a View

Traditional picturesque hotel with amazing view! The rooms are very cool, stone built! Comfortable bed, special bathroom takes you to old times .Rich breakfast with local flavors and variety. Amazing treatment and hospitality from the main people who manage the hotel! I'm sorry I only stayed 2 days ....

Room with a view

Buffet breakfast, including delicious homemade cheese and spinach pies, served by very friendly staff on patio overlooking sea. Spacious bedroom had long balcony, with sea views, and was close to town centre and its many restaurants but just far enough away not to be disturbed at night.

Rather cramped bathroom needs updating, especially the shower which reminded me of one I had many, many years ago!
