Perfect and amazing!!

Everything was amazing!!! We headed back today for another get a way!!! Do some fishing and enjoy our weekend and stay at bar mel inn!!!!

Improve the online service!

I had to pay in cash because your payment that I made with you to the hotel did not arrive, that is a serious problem.

That if you make an online reservation it is respected and you do not have one to pay extra and cash, for ago it is supposed to have already been paid !!

Exceptional

Staff was super friendly very quiet and peaceful. Rooms was clean. The beds are the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept on.

Hotel in need of repair, but the owner is very kind and the hotel is in a great location.

Property owner was very kind and accommodating to all of us. The location was right off of our travel path and convenient to town.

The building is in desperate need of repair and updating.

Good

The room was fairly big, and had an outside chair near the door that was nice. Shower water pressure was great!

The TV was very hard to work - we couldn't get to our regular network channels. The tub in the bath looks old and tired, but it worked okay.

convenient, very friendly, adjustable bed, keyless entry and easy code

no handicap room, switch over sink and clothes bar too high for handicap, no outlet by bed, no grab bar by toilet, AC will not set higher than 75 (too cool for me), no local news TV stations, back room too remote for woman traveling alone, no snack machine since no close restaurant

Not the greatest room, but a good value if you're just looking for someplace to crash for the night.

Traveling for a fishing charter, and this was the nearest cheap hotel. The beds were adjustable power beds, like they have in hospitals. Very nice. Very comfortable mattresses and pillows.

Toilet was running, would flush itself periodically. No blackout curtains, and an outside light kept the room too bright all night. And the manager hit us with a $20 cash deposit that hadn't been mentioned. "24 desk" wasn't really; We were checking out at 4am, and the manager asked that we not wake him.

Exceptional value, lovely proprietor and good location to explore several nearby parks.

Stayed here over one of the weekends Graves Mountain was open for digging and had a Rock Swap that my girlfriend sold some stuff at. Place was perfect for our needs. Inexpensive, good beds (who would expect to see adjustable beds in a little roadside motel straight out of the 60's?) and quiet. Gentleman who owns/runs the place is super nice and accommodating. TV has tons of channels, totally didn't expect to see several Indian stations and ones from other countries available in rural South Carolina. Had a bit of a mix-up with the reservation (on his end he saw our party as 3 adults/4 children which would necessitate another room) but cleared it up over the phone the day before our arrival. He remembered my name and apologized for the mix-up when we checked in.

AC could have been a bit better, room was a bit stuffy still but we managed. We had a fan with us for the booth, worked well to help push the cool air around the room. TV glitched out a bit here and there, motel was full up for most of our stay. I'm sure the internet connection for the TV was the culprit. Annoying at times, but not a deal breaker.

A good place if you just need somewhere to spend a night

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The room did have a small fridge and a microwave but didn’t have a coffee maker. They stream the TV and it would freeze about every 5-10 seconds so I couldn’t really watch anything

Bare minimum accommodation

electronic door security, spacious room, easy to find

very thin towels, stained washcloth and bed comforter, tub faucet barely functional, office staff had to be sought after

Disappointing

Price was great for a bed for the night. Bed adjusts, but was less than comfortable.

For the price paid, I can't really complain. It would be nice if there was a coffeemaker in the room, though. Having to drive in the morning to get coffee was a headache.

One night stay for HD fishing tournament. Owners are great and friendly.

Superb

I'm a traveling nurse and I'm always looking for a place to stay a couple nights that don't cost a lot of money, this has been the best so far price wise and was very comfortable. The owners were very helpful and friendly they made sure I was satisfied with my room and that everything worked 🙂 will definitely book again
