Für einen Kurzaufenthalt war es eine schöne Wohnung, sehr zentral.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral. Man ist direkt in der Innenstadt. Alles ist sehr gut zu erreichen. Die Wohnung hat für 5 Personen Platz und wir hatten zwei schöne Tage dort.

Das Geschirr war ein bisschen zusammen gewürfelt. Keine Kaffeemaschine, nur eine Kapselmaschine.

Wenn Fotos und Realität aufeinandertreffen

Die Lage und der Preis.

In Vorfreude aufgrund der schönen Fotos auf booking.com bezogen wir die Wohnungen “Ratisbona I” und “Ratisbona II”. Bereits beim Betreten der ersten Wohnung machte sich Enttäuschung breit, ebenso verhielt es sich mit der zweiten. Statt angepriesener Gemütlichkeit empfing uns eine sehr zweckmäßige Einrichtung. Dies wäre alles halb so enttäuschend gewesen, wenn sich nicht bei genauerem Hinsehen das Genmaterial vorangegangener Gäste in den Schubladen und Winkeln offenbart hätte. Im Geschirrspüler tummelte sich benutztes Geschirr. In “Ratisbona II” herrschte die drei angemieteten Tage ein schwer zu definierender, sehr unangenehmer Geruch zwischen Balkangrill und muffigen Schweißfüßen. Dieser ließ sich auch durch intensives Lüften nicht minimieren. Aber der “Knaller” waren die Badezimmer. In “Ratisbona I” fühlte sich der Schwarzschimmel heimisch. Und für den Zustand in “Ratisbona II” lasse ich einfach mal die beigefügten Bilder sprechen. Viel “Spaß” beim Anschauen und auf sich Wirkenlassen. Auf den Bildern nicht zu erkennen: das halb in den Angeln hängende WC, welches beim Daraufsetzen nachgab. Spannend. Im Übrigen blieben meine zwei Nachrichten an den/die Inhaberin*in der Unterkunft unbeantwortet.

Nicht zu empfehlen !

Die Lage war gut aber das war es auch schon. Eine nagelneue Küche aber wer will schon kochen in so einem Appartment.

Das Badezimmer war renovierungsbedürftig, das Schlafzimmer dürftige Einrichtung, Bettwäsche wirkte benutzt, ungebügelt , die Fenster alle zu einem winzigen, schrecklichen Innenhof raus,die Dielen knarrten so laut ,das man sich erschreckte beim Drüberlaufen. Insgesamt unakzeptabel.

Generally it was absolutely ok and for the good price we got exactly what we needed and awaited.

The house is located in the historical center of the city, there is a nice view on its towers and roofs. The apartement was comfortable and cosy for two persons. No problems appeared during our stay.

The location of the apartement Praetoria is on the highest floor. I don´t mind, as I find it healthy to use the stairs, but it can be complicated for a person who has problems with legs of heart.

Ratisbona 1, Regensburg

Beautiful façade. Great location. Quiet.

Initial impression was of a shabby, dark space. It seemed to have everything the host described but it was all past its best and no care had been taken in presenting the accommodation, from the broken shoe rack by the door, the kitchen baseboard that displaced every time you stood by it to the yellowed toilet seat and all we mention below. Every floorboard creaks and pops and must be awful for the people underneath to listen to. There was wrinkled, mismatched bedding (one set looked really discoloured), well worn towels of different colours and what seemed like a random collection of furniture; none of this in a charming way. There are very few plug sockets and the one in the bedroom had coupled up extension bars, requiring you to guddle about under the bed to find a spare point. We had been travelling for weeks and were looking forward to being settled in one place, relaxing and getting our laundry done. The washing machine was there but no airer or drying space. The host was very responsive and supplied one right away. By then we had realised the place wasn't just old and well-used but hadn't been cleaned (the floors and surfaces were dusty, cup rings on the tables, dishevelled and dusty kitchen cupboards and generally just grubby). When unpacking we had noticed a big ridge down one of the beds. Thinking the mattress protector had slipped, we undid the sheet to fix it and discovered there was not only no protector but the outer cover of the mattress had become twisted and was filthy along that edge. We contacted the host, Sammy, and he promised to replace it no problem. Later he asked if it could be done by the cleaner the next day and we agree, asking that the floors were also cleaned at the same time. When we returned the next evening the apartment smelled much fresher. The bedding had been changed for more wrinkled, mismatched items but the mattress had not been replaced or fixed and there was no protector on it, so nothing was achieved.

Great location awkward bathroom.

The location was excellent. It was very spacious. It was open and sunny.

The bathroom was very old and it needs updating. You had to go up a step and then over a very high bathtub to get into the shower. Also had to go up a step to get to the toilet. I would not recommend for older people. The 2nd bedroom was a walk-in closet with very small bed.

Friendly and kind Host!

Location is short walking distance to old town. Restaurants are nearby. The host is very fast in response, friendly and kind to let us stay on the 2nd floor as our luggage is too heavy to carry up to the 4th floor room originally assigned. I highly recommend staying in this accommodation if you ever visit Regensburg, value for money!

No elevator, only staircase.
