You won't be disappointed.

The hotel stay was very pleasant. I would definitely stay here again. It's in walking distance to restaurants and stores. Also, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

I was charged over 6,000 pesos for a tequilla cocktail. Be sure to confirm the price before ordering from the bar. This happened at the rooftop pool bar.

Lujo y confort

Justo en el corazón de La Bahía de Samaná, se podía ir andando hasta el centro donde te puedes encontrar un pequeño centro comercial, muchos restaurantes y bares. Es un bonito hotel de arquitectura contemporánea, lujosa y moderna con un toque caribeño y unas vistas impresionantes. Las instalaciones están bien cuidadas y muy limpia. Me encantó la amplitud de nuestra suite, era más grande de lo que nos esperábamos. El personal nos brindó una atención excelente. El buffet de desayuno tenía una pequeña variedad pero muy buena. No tuvimos ninguna queja.

L’hotel molto comodo. Samana invece molto meno bella di quanto immaaginavassimo.

Posizione molto decentrata Colazione non a buffet, ma alla carta, che fa perdere molto tempo la mattina. Il servizio di massaggi non era operativo. Non ci sono spiagge balneabili negli immediati dintorni. Bisogna necessariamente affittare uno scooter o macchina.

Hotel con las mejores vistas a los Puentes de Samana

El hotel esta cerca del centro y la habitación era bastante grande, tenía refrigeradora, cocina, un sarten, unos vasos y platos. Nosotros no hicimos uso de la cocina porque pasamos fuera la mayor parte del tiempo. La cama era grande y muy cómoda. Recibimos buen trato de parte de los empleados del hotel, especialmente el gerente del restaurante que tuvo una cortesía con nosotros porque una de las noches decidimos cenar en la terraza del hotel y no obtuvimos el servicio esperado para ser un hotel 5 estrellas así que se nos recompenso con una cena en el restaurante. Fuera de ese pequeño inconveniente todo bien.

Entra un poco de ruido en las habitaciones por la gente que pasa en sus carros en la calle con música a todo volumen

Soleil, chaleur, hôtel conforme aux attentes, personnel courtois

Le petit déjeuner à la carte inclus dans le séjour était très bien. Les buffets cependant était moins intéressants. Les plats souvent froids. Le café est excellent! Cet hôtel est d'une propreté remarquable, autant les chambres que les espaces communs. Le personnel, de manière générale, est gentil et très attentif aux besoins des clients. Le directeur est particulièrement efficace. La localisation à Santa Barbara est très bonne. À distance de marche de tout.

La principale faiblesse et l'absence de plage et le manque d'activités proposées aux clients. Il semble cependant qu'il y a des projets pour améliorer l'expérience des clients.

Nice new hotel with bad design issues… very comfortable for our travel plans!

The hotel is new and very comfortable. We travel with a baby so we choose the superior room which has a separate bedroom. Very spacious, powerful A/C and comfortable bed.

The room part of our suite was giving to back of the hotel, where all A/C are installed, the noise was a little bit uncomfortable… The water of the swimming pool was not clean and chemicals inside where not equilibrated… our swimming baths where ruined!

Highly recommended

That was really a fantastic stay! The staff was very kind, helping us in an early check-in. The rooms are big, clean and the view is really amazing. The roof-top bar was extremely good for relaxing and swimming and we also enjoyed their dinners, as well. Wide selection of wines (especilly red wines). Highly recommended!

Excellent séjour, prestations au top, très bon petit déjeuner , piscine vue magnifique

Nous avons apprécié la qualité les prestations de cet hôtel : kitchinette, grand lit, douche agréable, terrasse, magnifique piscine vue sur la baie...tout le linge de toilette (paignoire, serviette pour la piscine...) Excellent petit déjeuner surtout le samedi car c'est un buffet avec un choix important

J'ai tout apprécié mais surtout que le personnel soit arrangeant et serviable. Nous avions une chambre très bruyante et nous avons pu sans aucune difficulté changer de chambre...ça change tout pour passer un bon séjour de plusisurs jours ...

Santa Barbara de Samana Best Hotel

There is a lot to like abut this hotel and withstanding the Bahia all-inclusives this is easily the best on Semana Bay. The hotel website is accurate and you can get a good idea of your room selection from that. The restaurant is entirely satisfactory. The staff are very good but unless you have spanish language skills you may need google translate on your phone. The rooftop pool is instagram heaven. Underground parking is easy, secure, and free.

Do snag your room on arrival to make sure all you need is there. Our electric hob did not work but was replaced within minutes of reporting. Likewise the soap dispenser in the shower was replaced.

Schönes Hotel mit sehr schönem Blick auf die Bucht

Sehr schöner Blick von der Poolterrasee auf die Bucht. Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Große Zimmer.

Der Geräuschpegel durch laute Mopeds (Moto) tagsüber auf der Straße vor dem Hotel. Das ist typisch für die DomRep und das Hotel wird dagegen wohl nichts tun können.

Very nice but a bit expensive

A lot of security in the place, everything very quiet. Very nice hotel terrace with the swimming pools where you can admire a nice sunset over the bay. Big and nice room, very clean.

No hot water in the jacuzzis. The room unfortunately smelled of humidity. A little expensive for what it offers.

Buena opción en Santa Bárbara

Piscina con vistas al puente de Samaná. Bonito atardecer y amanecer desde la azotea. Tiene gimnasio con vistas. Las habitaciones están bien con lo necesario, con vistas. El desayuno a la carta muy rico. Wifi funciona bien y el parking bien. Muy cerca de operadores de excursiones.

Todo estaba bien. En cuanto acaben el malecón será genial porque se podrá ir caminando genial desde el hotel hasta el centro.

La piscina en la planta superior muy bonita, las instalaciones son buenas, cama grande y cómoda. Tiene parking, gimnasio, amenities… es un hotel cómodo para descansar.

Para ir a la zona de ocio es un camino oscuro, por la lluvia, estaba todo mojado y está al final del paseo. El restaurante ofrece comida cara, con poca variedad. El desayuno podría ser bufet y no un plato a elegir.

Nothing, I can't find nothing positive even I want.

It's difficult to express the disappointment I experienced at this hotel. I don't like left bad reviews but this time I must because this what happens need to be published and people should be know it's not so amazing hotel like looking on pictures. Only one person at the reception speaks English, and the rest don't understand a word. Jacuzzi? It's not a jacuzzi; those who claimed it was probably have never been in one or is broken. And no beach near or opposite hotel - just only 2 very small swimming pools Breakfast - from the menu ( 2 eggs, 2 slices of bacon, 2 mini sausages 2 cm long, and one piece of bread in triangles + 1 small coffee). The hotel, which advertises buffet breakfast in the pictures. Something bit us during the night. But the worst part is that at 2 in the morning, while we were sleeping, the staff entered our room without knocking. The next day, they acted like nothing happened, and not even an apology was offered. It's a disaster; this hotel might deserve 3 stars instead of 5.

Ruime kamer en fijne badkamer, mooi uitzicht vanaf hotelkamer, ondanks dat de geluidsisolatie erg goed was, hoorde je soms nog wel wat geluid van buiten, super vriendelijk personeel (verdient echt een heel groot compliment!), ontbijtbuffet in weekend was heerijk, dakterras met zwembad prachtig tijdens zonsondergang, veilig gevoel door bewaking in hotel en parkeergarage.

Great rooms, amazing pool and friendly staff

The hotel is very modern, the rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. We loved the pool and roof top bar although they close quite early. The staff are really friendly and helpful.

The food wasn't great but there's a few restaurants in the area to choose from and even more if you have a car to travel around in. The road is quite noisy but we didn't really mind. They do a breakfast buffet on Sundays which we loved as there was loads of options, it was much better than the daily breakfast options. We did go off season so the hotel was quiet so maybe why they didn't do the buffet every day. Samana Bay itself is not the nicest area, I would recommend having a car to travel down to Las terrenas or las galeras during the day.
