A convienient and comfortable place to stay.

We didn’t see any staff as you get a code for the locked box for the door key but everything was as described and we didn’t have any problems during our stay. Location was excellent, only a short walk into main park of town. Plenty of restaurants close by and a well stocked convenience store just up the road. Only stayed 2 nights & ate out so didn’t use the kitchen except for tea & coffee. Washing machine & dryer worked well & was able to get all our clothes clean & dried before moving on. A clothes airer, iron & ironing board are supplied and are good quality. The view over the harbour area was a great bonus.

Couldn’t get the lift to go down to the car park, not a big deal but maybe some instructions in the unit might help. Not a problem for us but need to be careful driving into the car park as the ramp down is narrow.

Beautiful apartment in a great location

Location of this great apartment was perfect, with a beautiful view to the harbor. It was also well equipped and clean. Checking in was very easy (with a key code). It was definitely worth the money.

I needed to contact the host a couple of times and the responses to my messages took quite long (several days). The sewer in shower was somehow stuck: it always started to work only after you had left shower already.

Great location, great facilities, good communication from the property.

View was great, location was great. We landed at 4:30AM and they let us check in early, which was super helpful so we could get an hour of sleep before our tour.

The washer and dryer were great but the dryer water reservoir was full so it wouldn’t run. A little googling solved the problem but you might want to leave instructions for people who are unfamiliar with this type of dryer.

Can't wait to return

The apartment was amazing in pretty much every way. Location, view, comfort, and convenience. We had a minor check in snafu that was resolved reasonably quickly and had a great stay.

Wish we could stay longer.

very nice place with all the amenities. comfortable and right in the heart of the harbour. found a great local fish market with local seasoned dishes. also a great meat market with awesome lamb and beef. the apt was great for cooking your own meals. restaurants and bars right across or down the street. main shopping district well within walking distance

Excellent, would definitely recommend

Nothing in Iceland is cheap, but you get what you pay for and this was worth every penny. Some of the best restaurants are over the road. Shopping is five mins walk and and the Cathedral is 15 mins walk. Walm and comfortable during an amber storm warning in February.

Hard to be too critcal, but it took us ages to find Netflix on the Apple TV. First world problems!!

It's an excellent place to stay in Reykjavík if you're coming with a car.

Location is excellent with a harbour view, within short walking distance from Harpa, museums, main street, downtown, etc ... It has an underground closed parking lot with a wide parking spot for the car. Bed was comfortable. The dryer did it's job very well! Water was hot instantly when taking a shower, fridge is very big, wifi internet is fast. Overall it's a really good value for the money. When I needed assistance from the host, he picked up the phone in less than a minute and instantly helped, which is a huge bonus!

I actually liked everything, but for those coming with a rental car the entry to the underground parking lot might be a bit steep. I'm not sure if you can fit in a taller SUV through that garage door. Ventilation of the apartment is far from good, so remember to open the bathroom window after or during having a shower, otherwise the damp will be trapped in the apartment and you'll see huge puddles under the windows. There's also some fungus built up on the ceiling in the bathroom because of this. The sofa in the living room which servers as the extra beds if not 2, but 4 people stay here didn't look too comfy.

the Planet Apartments was chosen by my parents for my 21st Birthday, the whole stay was fantastic.

everything, the apartment was beautiful, spacious, good facilities, modern, large bed, fantastic views over the harbour, cooking facilities excellent, plenty of utensils , cutlery & plates, bathroom & shower excellent.

nothing it was perfect, the whole experience was brilliant.

Location was awesome. Communication with owner was excellent. They even provided their own version of Icelandic concierge service. Ease of check-in/check-out was convenient. Overall, Highly recommended.

They could use a better coffee maker. ;<)

Good location and it had a washer and dryer. The apartment was also spacious

The apartment was a bit old and not as clean as expected. The soap available was diluted with water and the bedsheets were really rough. Expected more for the price we paid.

Excellent apartment.

Excellent location, close to restaurants and shops. The apartment is fantastic and has everything we needed. We loved the window over the harbour. We definitely recommend.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. No complaints at all.

Spacious, big windows with nice view. Close to attractions and restaurants. Fully equipped kitchen.

You have nowhere to park during the period required to pick the keys and parking card. I waited in a car while while other person was getting access to the garage. Might be a problem if you travel alone.
