The most regrettable part of my road trip.

Location is generally ok, but the town of Canmore is kinda small anyway

I probably should’ve checked the detail before I book the place, but it really made me feel uncomfortable when they send these in DMs: 1) there’s an agreement to be signed before entry 2) a deposit of $500 I’ve been staying in 4 star hotels in Banff and Calgary days before, also some airbnbs along the road trip, none of them have these kind of prerequisites, I understand it’s written in the detail descriptions but I would definitely avoid this if I were aware of this fussy process. They even have a long list of check out checkboxes for guests to complete before you can get out of the place, which made me stressed, I really thought about canceling the order even though I’ve paid already. And this made me feel dumb to pay the $200+ Service fee+tax, if I have to basically get everything “well prepared” (including placing the TV remote control right back to the place, tie up your garbage bags etc..)before they can clean it. Other stuff that made us feel uncomfortable: If you forget to return the parking pass, which is only a plastic card, they are going to charge you $200 for that. Everything about this place made me feel stressed and anxious, sometimes threatened. It made me feel like I’m visiting my parents’ place, I do not feel relaxed at all. No coffee & tea provided at this price(similar price to 4star in Banff) Heater in master bedroom is noisy at night. If you are looking for a simple hassle free leisure trip, I would not recommend this.

pretty good, satisfactory, not inspiring. I am not a fan of sprawl-type development...

beds comfy, en suite bathroom, hot tub nice but why only 3 jets working - some supervision is needed there as there were some loud drinking people one time we wanted to use it.

coffee pretty stale, and the carafe didn't fit the coffee-maker. very limited tea selection. extremely awkward kitchen layout unless you are over 2 meters tall. Why only one soap for two bathrooms? Could have used a desk somewhere. Could not get the sound to work on the TV. The link to get my personal page for the property did not work so I had to call several times to get access to the room, the pool... never bothered with the TV

Nice pool ,you can walk to the city of canmore,not far to Banff,overall good location.

We don't have a parking pass for 3 nights and its hard to find the parking spot, and the bath tub so slow to drain.

Great place to stay

Very cozy place to stay. Comfortable beds, clean rooms. After long day skiing, hot tub is great treat for adults and big outdoor swimming pool is defo a huge fun for kids. Kitchen is fully equipped, lots of pots and pans. Plenty of towels in the bathrooms. And we looooved heated floors! Owners are very caring and check up on you every some time. Defo made us feel like their guests.

One parking stall per unit only. If you travel with two cars, you may need to park other one on the street.

Excellent chalet!

The location is perfect. It is a walking distance to Canmore town which is very convenient. The chalet is very clean. The interior of the house is very inspirational. Very clean. My daughter loves the swimming pool just front of the chalet. My kids love the bunkbeds.

Perfect for a family with kiddos

Family friendly & the yard was perfect for the kids to play. The room had a high chair & a playpen for my infant child. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Parking with a huge 15 passenger was a little difficult. Otherwise, my stay was just what I expected.

Mystic mountain getaway

The Chalet was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need, and the location was perfect! The beds were very comfortable, and the easy access to the pool and hottub was very enjoyable. No issues with parking during the stay. Netflix being provided made for great relaxing evenings curled up by the fireplace. The hosts were very informative, pleasant to converse with, and always quick to respond.

That I didn't book a longer vacation!

We barely slept because we did not want to crawl into the dirty sheets. It was a mother daughter trip ruined.

The decor and location

I never write reviews but had to for this place. It was so dusty and hair literally everywhere, even in the fridge. The sheets were smelly and stained. There were crumbs on the bunk bed and it was very obvious they had not been washed. DO NOT STAY HERE!

A very cosy chalet, excellent for family bonding. Everything is provided for in terms of cooking and washing. The location is near the town centre as well as easy drive to Banff and Lake Louise.

The actual chalet was nice but $ 600 for 1 night is way over priced for what we got.

No breakfast that we knew of ,

Would have been nice to know the hot tub wasn’t on before we walked out in freezing weather and bathing suits. Couldn’t find proper garbage bags for our garbage. $600 for 1 night with little to no amenities, no free breakfast and have to take out our own garbage and clean the dishes etc. may as well stay at a hotel next time
