Comfort amongst nature with a wonderful host.

Loved the location and the communication with host was very very helpful. A stunning place to holiday and the villa was perfect for a family of 5

Maybe some beach towels would be a good addition.

Wonderful location with all necessary comforts for a relaxing holiday.

Perfect accommodation for a relaxed holiday. Newly renovated bathroom, air con throughout, well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, fresh linen and indoor and outdoor dining tables - just be ready for the kookaburras to join you outside. Very family friendly with toys, board games and pool noodles!

Suggest new towels and decorative cushions - both are quite old and worn.

Fabulous villa

Waking up to the sounds of nature.

Absolutely nothing. This villa was my favourite place to stay on our 3 week holiday to Queensland. I loved it. The memory of morning coffee on the deck will see me through the rest of an Irish winter!

Great place to stay on Fraser Island.

Really well looked after property. We’ve stayed in a number of these Satinay villas and this has been by far the best one. Five people fit easily. Well stocked with good kitchen equipment, an oven, washer and dryer.

Only one bathroom was a bit of a stretch for our group of five. Not a criticism, just something to be aware of when booking.

Very good

I liked the location and the peace and quiet.

The floors were very dirty as was the squeegee left for cleaning. I suspect the deck was cleaned with the same squeegee. The bed was very short for my very tall son- in-law. I suspect it was a double bed not a queen size..

Really enjoy the 3 night stay, felt refreshed and loved Fraser

The whole experience staying in the villa was excellent, great large front deck to site on and watch the world go by.

Resort pool had no heating, so the water was cold,

Great family unit with lovely bathroom and deck. The host was fabulous and very responsive.

The aspect of the villa and privacy , the floatie for kids to use, the coffee machine, new bathroom, lots of cleaning supplies.Definitely would rebook.

the towels, the dirty fly screens, old pots and pans, with a little bit more attention to these items the property would be even better.

Enjoyable couple of nights on a beautiful sand island

k’gari/ kingfisher resort is wonderful the cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed the host/owner was easy and pleasant to communicate with, access was easy, everything was ready

I had not appreciated from the description that the cabin is one of many in very close proximity to each other - giving the feeling of a camp - albeit a very pleasant one

Excellent stay at Kookaburra Villa. House was perfect - extremely comfortable, very good amenities and very short walk to the centre of Kingfisher Bay. Easy check in instructions. Very good value for money. Perfect for anyone visiting Fraser Island!

Everything! Clean and tidy, enough space for the 5 of us. Lovely and quiet with fantastic activities for us to do. We all loved staying in this villa. Would definitely stay here again.

it was a lovely unit and the owner was very assisting when I said thi gs weren’t working so that was really good

location kid friendly all good facilities lovely clean and new bathroom

lights were not all working microwave didn’t work which was difficult for reheating food and especially for a baby the aircon remote didn’t work in one room

Great villa with great service in prime Fraser Island location with resort facilities at your fingertips

Dianne was excellent with her communication, had use of resort facilities & check in process easy - thanks so much for the snacks on arrival!

Floors were quite dirty & curtains also. Other than that, all fabulous.

came back for a second stay so must have liked it 😊

loved the size of the rooms, bathroom, lounge and verandah I very spacious place.

nothing really but it was pouring with rain so a fabric mat at the from door would have helped to stop us walking mud through the house and we couldn’t use the verandah as the rain came through where there was no flashing installed, a design fault. (not Dianne’s fault it rained) There was also a strong smell in the rear of the building. I’m guessing probably caused by the extraordinary amount of rain that fell during our stay.

Everything for a wonderful stay

Beautiful home, had all the amenities we required, it was good location walking distance to beach, playground, restaurants, and main resort reception. Beds were comfortable and deck was great. Easy to find and collect keys. We really enjoyed our stay, we are very grateful and would love to stay again.
