Plutôt sympathique et propre. C’est

C’est propre, c’est sécurisé et plutôt bien placé. Les casiers pour les affaires c’est bien pour les avoir en sécurité quand on visite. La propreté est top. Il y a une personne qu’on peut croiser qui est très gentille.

A l’arrivé on ne sait pas où aller c’est pas clair, ça serait bien d’avoir une personne pour l’accueil. Et avoir une baggagerie sécuriser, là n’importe qui peut prendre nos affaires. Ma chambre donnait sur la rue c’était très bruyant.

Struttura molto graziosa, in una buona posizione per raggiungere il centro di Tromso in 5 minuti a piedi. È anche vicino alla fermata del pullman per l'aeroporto (due traverse sotto). Abbiamo dormito nella camera 6, doppia, che si trova al primo piano con la 4, singola. Usciti dalla camera c'è un ampio soggiorno con tavolo, divano, stendino, frigorifero, e il bagno adiacente. Non è presente reception, ma non ne abbiamo sentito la mancanza. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo!!! Super contenti di questo soggiorno.

Bisogna lasciare gli scarponi al piano terra, e risultano un po' freddi quando si vanno a mettere.

Great budget option in centrsl area. Could be further improved but I imagine the price would also move. Everythingvyou

Great location in central area. Close to supermarket, restaurants and pick up points for tours. Washing machine and drying rack available. Cooking facilities.

Limited luggage space in double room. Stored bags under the bed and they came out super dirty and dusty. Kitchen needs a few more items like grater, tongs, pot lids for larger pot. Beware upstairs room the stairs are super steep if you have heavy baggage.

Fantastic location and great value for money

Great location, fantastic communication from the staff, she upgraded us to our own apartment and was very helpful when we had to stay two extra nights due to a cancelled flight. Very good value for Tromso and would definitely stay again,

Just the pipe leading from upstairs passes through the kitchen downstairs, it can be a noisy and looks like it may break at any point.

Overall comfortable and value for money stay.

Location is very close to all the tours spots and bus stops. Walkable to some of the tourist places. The people staying here were good to interact with. The host was very welcoming and friendly.

Good location, easy to get to and walkable to all the main attractions/station for tours. Good amenities in the apartment, beds comfy, rooms cozy. Kitchen had everything I needed for cooking.

Nice basic accommodation in a great location

Excellent location. Kitchen well stocked Good shower also washing machine Easy self check in

As it’s shared apt it really depends on your neighbours. First few nights very quiet and tidy couple, Last night was a Messy neighbour leaving things about, noisy and snoring. But that’s the chance you take with shared facilities Steep stairs which was fine for me but caution if reduced mobility or lots of luggage

Good location but very basic and uncomfortable

The location was very handy for the downtown area.

The beds were extremely uncomfortable. Mattresses were thin and pillows were lumpy and thin. Plugs were in a weird place and it didn't look like the upper bunks had easy access to them. There wasn't much space in the rooms. The layout of the building is strange. You have to go through the kitchen and living area to go between the rooms and bathroom.

At least it was quiet and clean!!

The young woman volunteering there from Grimsby (UK) was lovely.

A staff member overreacted to myself and a roommate swapping mattresses when he suggested we swap beds as he noticed that I was having difficulties getting up the steps of the top bunk (my knees were quite bad from too much walking). I think it was easier for the staff woman to have a go at me than him because he is a long-term resident and I was there just a one night. Why she needed to have a go at anyone is beyond my understanding, when she could simply left it at we should have asked staff first. But she went on about it for about 10 minutes. Perhaps she was having a bad day and she behaved out of character. She said I should have booked a private room. It was pointless continuing the "conversation" much more after that.

The only minor complaint was the fitted mattress sheet was too bobbly, otherwise everything was great

Tromsø is gorgeous. This place not so much

I liked that it was close to the city centre. A nice was stroll

The person ruining the place was rather nonchalant I felt as though it were an inconvenience to stay there. The bed was not comfortable and I’m not even sure if there was a clean base sheet on the bed. As I was heading to another hotel the day I checked out I had vacated the room and was just chilling in the common area when the woman came up and said I couldn’t be there and had to leave. I could leave my bags and collect them later. I really did really find her demeanour rather at odds for someone in the hospitality industry. There was basically no personal interaction other than this. Everything was done via email or text. Spend a bit more money and stay somewhere more welcoming

Great place for a short term stay!

I liked the central location of the property, was very close to most of the attractions as well as the pick up points for all the activities I did. The kitchen had all required appliances and the place was kept quite clean.

My main issue was with the beds being noisy when anyone would move and the thinness of the pillows. It also would have been nice to have the option of having a female only dorm as I felt quite uncomfortable sharing a room with men who appeared to be in their 50’s as i was a young girl travelling alone.

Great experience in Tromso.

The location is very central and easily access to everything. I think it is converted from the traditional residential property so you get an idea how the traditional houses like. It was definitely a great experience.

The room is a little too small to fit 2 suitcases but we managed. But is really warm and nice to sleep in. The staircase could be too steep for the elderly.

Great location, fair price but some maintenance required

Very friendly staff, room size is good, living room, nice, location great to explore the city and good as a base for hikes around Tromsø.

Mattress too soft for my preference, dishwasher was broken, when showering almost the whole bathroom floor gets wet.

Handy Tromso hostel in a central location

Convenient hostel on a centrally located road near the harbourfront without too much traffic. The room rate isn't cheap for sharing in a two-bunk dormitory room but this option still eases the pain of Tromso's otherwise consistently expensive accommodation. The shared kitchen was quite well stocked with utensils and the fridge and storage cupboards spacious. Coco has a pleasant atmosphere and 24 hrs access by front-door code.

If you have a rental car, parking isn't straightforward; I had to leave my car up above the town hall overnight 5 minutes' walk up the hill. There was only one shower/toilet for the floor I was on - it was kept clean but sometimes required waiting time.

The hostel was in a great location, close to the city center, hikes etc. the check-in was easy and the staff was super friendly and helpful, lots of information for activities

You have to like hostels...

Located in the heart of Tromsoe with many tings to do within walking distance.

Given that it's a hostel, there are surprisingly many rules and signs reminding guests of these rules all over the place. Doesn't quite square with the concept of a hostel.

Nice & cosy place

The hostel is very central and I found it a very friendly and helpful place. Was lucky with the other guest and we had a peaceful and joyful time together. The owner is great and guarantees good vibes.

Basically it is all there, some of the kitchen items could be in better shape but they do it.

Superb

I had originally booked a bunk in one of the dorms, but was upgraded to a private room with a shared bathroom upon my arrival. My room and the common areas were clean, the property is centrally-located, and the staff is super kind and helpful!

My room faced the inner courtyard and the windows are not so well insulated, so if people were talking outside I could hear everything. But I wasn't too bothered by it.

perfect location, cosy and quiet, lockers in room for valuables, kitchen has everything you need and a simple self check-in. my friend and I were the only ones upstairs so no wait for the bathroom but I can imagine with a full house that’d be inconvenient. didn’t affect us though, we had a great stay - thank you!
