The property was presented beautifully, with everything clean, and as neat as a pin. The owners are obviously very caring, and we were made to feel very welcome. A bottle of wine, and a cheese board, was a generous touch.
Our adult son, found the sofa bed uncomfortable.

The location was very good with all facilities within walking distance. The appartment is very clean with modern appliances and overlooks the fantastic local market with lovely views of the surrounding hills. For anyone wanting to spend their holiday in the centre of a typical Lancashire countryside town with extremely friendly locals, this location is ideal.

The property was in a brilliant location in the centre of Clitheroe, overlooking the market and within a few minutes walk of all the shops and restaurants! The apartment was an extremely clean and well equipped with everything and a lovely welcome pack of goodies! Excellent!

It was so nice to be greeted with some treats which included not only tea & coffee but a pint of milk, biscuits, chocolates, a bottle of wine and a cheese board with local cheeses and chutney. Such a welcoming gesture which was much appreciated. We'd also been given clear instructions regarding parking, which was in a designated spot in a private car park a stone's throw away. The location was central and interesting watching Clitheroe market come to life on a couple of days. We also met Pauline on our last evening, but we were made aware that the hosts were available to answer any queries at any time.
A pair of tongs in the kitchen would have been handy (for turning sausages!)

Great location. Fabulously clean apartment. Brilliant decor, everything top notch. Modern facilities with walk-in shower - hate climbing into a bath for a shower. Great heating which made it cosy.

The location is in the centre of Clitheroe overlooking the market—just a short walk to pubs, supermarkets and shops.
The apartment was clean and modern. The bonus welcome gift of a bottle of wine, a cheeseboard, and a supply of coffee, tea, and milk was very nice. Parking was in a reserved spot in a very near car park, with a short-stay space outside the apartment to unload the car. We often visit family in Clitheroe and will look to stay here on future trips.
It is tucked away behind the main shopping street and would be hard to find if it wasn't for the excellent video sent by the owners which showed its location and the parking. The views overlooking the market and the hills beyond are worth the climb.
The apartment is on the first floor accessed by an outside staircase so may be unsuitable if you have walking difficulties.

The location is right next to the market and not far from the train station and various shops and pubs. It was immaculately clean and very comfortable. The hosts were also very helpful and friendly. Would stay here again without hesitation.

Market Lounge is a lovely property. The owners have taken great care to make it very comfortable and they provided some generous touches which were most welcome - cheese, chocolates, wine. The property is well located in the middle of Clitheroe so you have easy access to shops, cafes, pubs etc. THe property is very well maintained and decorated. Having car parking close was also very convenient. We can highly recommend this property and the helpfulness and accessibility of its hosts.

The apartment is beautiful, very clean, we had everything we needed - it was really wonderful. Located in the city center it is close to everything. And it is also quiet.
The owners, David and Pauline, are very nice and kind and made us feel welcome, they prepared a welcome gift as well as a guide with places to visit, events.
We had a lovely time staying here and we recommend it dearly.

Everything was spotless when we arrived and the apartment was nicely furnished and decorated.
A cheeseboard, wine and milk had been provided which was a nice touch.
The friendly and helpful host greeted us at the property and showed us where everything was kept/ how it worked. The apartment was conveniently located in the centre of Clitheroe.

This place is hands down EXCEPTIONAL and right in the heart of Clitheroe! I think I'll need about 10pages to write ALL the things I loved but let's start somewhere shall we!
Location: I couldn't ask for a more strategically located accommodation while away from home. This beautiful one-bedroom apartment literally overlooks the market and not in a way that disturbs the guests as it is in fact really quiet. A stone-throw away from the Clitheroe station - I wouldn't need to go up to Preston when next I need to come down to Clitheroe, as this apartment is so close to the station, it makes it super convenient!
Shopping: Right off the road that leads you to the apartment are some of Clitheroe's most fashionable stores if you will. It is excellent if you want to stay here and then go do a little shopping. The YMCA and Booths are also about 4 minutes walk (when I do it). It is excellently situated for sure!
Sightseeing: The Clitheroe castle is somewhere you might want to visit when you visit Clitheroe and staying here at Market lounge gives you that opportunity to just walk up the hill to the castle. It is really close.
Aesthetically Pleasing: I want to say that the photos are great and do give a good picture of what this apartment is but still nothing compared to when you actually walk in! It is a beauty and very modern finishing which was a plus for me. I loved being able to be in an almost historic town like Clitheroe but still, have that modern feel when I got back to the apartment.
Exceedingly Clean: 100% is what I'll score them. It really is clean.
Communication: Communication was great! I can't complain at all. The market lounge team really cares about the guests who take up the apartment.
The Sofabed: Having that sofa bed in the living room that sleeps an extra two people is such a fantastic add-on!
The hosts/owners: Dave was an absolute delight to deal with from start to finish.
Absolutely Nothing! I LOVED EVERY BIT OF IT and will in fact book more visits to Clitheroe now because of Market Lounge being there.

Fantastic location and communication from David. Extremely clean and homely little apartment. We were even given complimentary cheese in the fridge as a nice little touch! Parking provided was also superb. Could not fault this place at all - host was very attentive and gave excellent recommendations. A fantastic couple retreat for my girlfriend and I.
