Seriously, it was two beds, and a refurbished hotel, and a decent night of sleep.

Greeted politely, smooth check in, and comfortable bed. The rooms were clean, and the AC worked well. These roadside motels were a staple of Americana for years, and I dunno...it was just kinda quaint. Like I was in Mayberry or so something.

While we didn't take showers that morning in order to hit the road earlier, but I did notice that there was a bit of a crack in the shower stall. That, and the blinds were a bit janky to operate in the bathroom. Wasn't horrible though because I managed to close them.

Excellent deal for the cost.

The manager extremely nice. The room clean, yes some furniture dated but for the price, excellent. . Bed very comfortable. Nice hot shower.

The whole experience was wonderful…Rodney at the front desk was top notch…the restaurant across the street was great…I’m already making plans to ride my motorcycle down and spend a couple nights and base out of there…

It is a clean and comfy old school roadside place to spend the night.

It is a quick drive to downtown Mt Airy. The heater was so quiet that we didn't think it was working and the man working the desk came to check it. He was super friendly. They don't have breakfast but they offer coffee and prepackaged pastries etc.

Friendly staff, clean room, great location!

Rodney was great- he accommodated a late check in for us, was super friendly, had coffee and tea and quick-grab snacks available for breakfast. The location was perfect- we just stayed one quick night to get through a long drive and it was close to the highway and did not add extra time to our trip. It was very clean. When we arrived there was another guest standing outside smoking and the smell was overwhelming. We were very nervous our entire room was going to smell like it, but as soon as we opened the door we were welcomed by a pleasant, clean aroma. The entire room was spotless! Simple room with everything necessary for a good night sleep and a shower in the morning.

Location was great. Nicely remodeled hotel. Very homey feeling. Everyone was real friendly, staff and guests.

Great for handicap accessibility when renting the apartment

We enjoyed the Andy Griffith Parkway Inn, Downtown Mt. Airy & Pilot Mountain State Park!

We enjoyed the location very much. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We felt it was a great place for the price.

It would have been nice to have a TV that had access to apps that would have allowed you to watch Andy Griffith as you are staying in Mt. Airy, were Andy Griffith was from. The bed was not very comfortable. It makes it very hard for folks with medical problems such as back problems, hip problems and overall chronic pain to get comfortable. A mattress topper would be a great idea if the establishment is unable to purchase new mattresses. An ice machine that is available 24hrs, would also be very helpful for travelers with health problems.

Certainly dated , but cleaner than some much nicer hotels I have stayed in.

Location was perfect. Nothing fancy but met our needs for one night.

It was very easy to find. It was just off the main highway enough, but close enough to get to all the stores and restaurants. It was only minutes from downtown "Mayberry". The staff VERY accommodating. I asked for a blanket that I could use sitting in the armchair and he brought me a fabulous comforter. I loved having the comfortable armchair in the room to sit in to watch TV. There's coffee in the room and also a pot of hot coffee in the office. It a "motel" which means that I could park my car right in front of the door of my room. I love that I didn't have to navigate Bobby's and elevators and long hallways to get to my room. Right down the road was Aunt Bea's restaurant which had wonderful food at great prices. I didn't notice any ice machines but I was at Sheetz and just bought a bag so I could fill my cooler for the trip home. Right next door, there is a paved trail to walk on if you are into walking or jogging or bike riding. I had a wonderful stay and I'm looking forward to going back. We went downtown but it was Sunday and most of the shops were closed so I want to go back to explore.

There was nothing but I didn't like, it was a fabulous day and I will most definitely return.

Made our mini getaway very pleasant

We didn't have breakfast,but it looked very good. Our stay was great!!! Peaceful location...but, close enough to everything in town. The property manager (Rodney) was very nice and friendly, and informative of the area....we really enjoyed talking to him. Most of all I was extremely happy of the cleanness of our room,and how the property in general was.Hats off to housekeeping! We would definitely stay again.

Unexpected pleasure!

The accommodation was very clean, tactfully decorated and comfortable. Great location and last but not least the manager was more than professional.I was treated as if I were an old friend. If I'm ever in the area I would definitely stay here again.
