Es tranquilo, vistas bonitas, para desconectar está bien esta en las montañas en un pueblito llamado fontanales lejos de todo si lo que quieres es eso este es tu sitio.
Hay muchas cosas que carece o le falta y muchos detalles que no voy a nombrar porque no es necesario pero si algo básico si tienes chicas de limpieza que pasen por la habitación, en 3 días que estuve ni una sola vez pasaron

Ładna okolica, spokojne i ciche miasteczko, z dala od masowego ruchu turystycznego. W okolicy dwie restauracje i mały sklepik.
Duży, przestronny, czysty pokój. Wygodne, odpowiednio twarde łóżka. Aneks kuchenny z podstawowym wyposażeniem. Mili gospodarze.
W pokoju było bardzo wilgotno i zimno. Byliśmy tam w marcu - wieczorami na zewnątrz było około 10 stopni. Mimo że ogrzewanie wieczorami i w nocy działało, to grzejnik był za mały, żeby ogrzać tak duży pokój. W efekcie było nam zimno, musieliśmy spać pod kołdrą i kocem oraz w dodatkowych ubraniach. Wilgoć w pokoju sprawiała, że nasze ubrania też były wilgotne i pachniały wilgocią, a ręczniki w łazience nie chciały wyschnąć. Którejś nocy ogrzewanie w ogóle nie działało, przez co ręczniki i stroje kąpielowe nie miały jak wyschnąć i przez dobę były całkiem mokre. To był bardzo niekomfortowy pobyt. Być może latem nie ma tam tego problemu, ale naszym zdaniem pokój nie nadaje się na pobyt w miesiącach zimowych (marzec to teoretycznie zima, mimo że w niższych częściach wyspy panuje temperatura powyżej 20 stopni, jednak Villas El Alto znajduje się na wysokości 1000 m. n.p.m. i jest tam zdecydowanie zimniej i jest gorsza pogoda).
W naszym pokoju nie działał router Wi-Fi, przez co nie mieliśmy internetu. Poinformowano nas, że internet jest dostępny we wspólnej kuchni, ale nie mieliśmy ochoty tam przebywać, ponieważ panował tam duży bałagan (brud, stare jedzenie innych gości itd.). Na szczęście nie musieliśmy korzystać z tej kuchni, ponieważ mieliśmy swój aneks kuchenny w pokoju.
W pokoju nie było czajnika elektrycznego. W łazience nie było suszarki do włosów, ale dostaliśmy ją, gdy o nią poprosiliśmy.

Villas el Alto is in an exceptional location on the edge of the village of Fontanales with views over the Los Tilos conservation area. There is plenty of secure, parking shared with the other houses. The four bedroom villa we rented has a roof terrace which is great for breakfast or star gazing in the evening. We did three day walks into the mountains from the door. The signposted footpath S05 runs past the door and your can also walk up towards Mt Negro again from the front door. Our host was very friendly and helpful.
The mini supermarket in Fontanales was closed for refurbishment but there is a good supermarket in Moya on the way up from the coast with fresh fruit, vegetables, bread and a really good delicatessen counter. The kitchen is reasonably well equipped but no oven or electric kettle. There is good hob, microwave, fridge and freezer we enjoyed cooking paster dishes etc. There is no washing machine in the Villa but the staff helped us to use one of the washing machines they use for sheets etc.

We were really satisfied in this accomodation. It is in a beautiful location, where you are above the clouds and you just have amazing views! Our favourite part of the day was sitting every the morning on the terrace, enoying the sun and the calm of this place. It is also a nice place to relax by the pool or watching the stars in the night - beautiful common area with many flowers, palm trees, fruit trees and lot of space for sit.
Also you are pretty close to many of the most incerdible places in Gran Canaria - not the cities, but the nature, and believe me - this accomodation is much more better that those once in big cities. Any nature lover would love this place.
It has comoftable beds, fully equipped kitchen, clean bathroom, garages for the cars etc. We did not have anything to complain about, 100% recommend this apartment.
And the best thing of this accomodation is the owner who is there at any time, ready to help you with anything. He gave us many important tips and reccomendations that did our holiday even more unforgettable. We have never met as welcoming and kind landlord as he is. Thank you once again Miguel for everything, we would love to come again next time.

Piękna miejscowość, cisza, spokój, śpiew ptaszków wieczorem i w nocy-dla mnie wcześniej nie spotykana rzecz, dużo zieleni, kolorowo, bardzo mili gospodarze, fantastyczne miejsce na wypad w góry lub jak kto woli na nizinę, czyli na plażę. Z okna cudowny widok... Jednym słowem... Żyć nie umierać... Polecam... Jeden warunek-trzeba wynająć auto... Pozdrawiam!

The apartment is nice, spacious, clean, the beds are comfortable. The living room is huge, with a big TV (we just used it to listen to music on YouTube but still :) ), the kitchen is nice and clean. The road to the village is curvy so you need a good driver (for me it was an adventure but maybe not everyone is aware of the conditions). The owner recommended a restaurant and we had dinner there every evening with the locals, it was lovely.
A few bigger cups would be nice in the kitchen. And it should be easier to get in - at first, nobody was around, we were not even sure if we were in the right place. But I called the owner and in a few minutes somebody showed up with the keys so it was solved, but for a short time we felt a bit unsafe.

El complejo es muy bonito aunque al ir en temporada baja no pudimos disfrutar de la piscina y de las zonas comunes pero merece la pena disfrutar de unos días de desconexión en este lugar. Tiene parking dentro del alojamiento y resultó muy cómodo para descargar maletas. La cocina estaba bien equipada aunque no la utilizamos.
Nos alojamos en octubre con el cambio de estación y la verdad que pillamos un día de bastante frio. La habitación era super grande y aún no tenían encendida la calefacción. Habríamos agradecido que estuviera un poco más caliente la estancia aunque había mantas suficientes para no pasar frio.

Todo! Estuvimos un finde por motivos de trabajo y la verdad es que es un lugar de ensueño, unas vistas preciosas, súper limpio y la atención desde el minuto uno inmejorable. Volveremos seguro para poder disfrutar mejor de las instalaciones.

An excellent location for those who look for very quiet holidays and/or like hiking and nature. It is important to have a car with you, it allows you to travel freely around! We enjoyed it very much and we felt we really met the real local life thanks to have picked this accommodation. The owners are really friendly and easy going. They give you tips to do during your stay and they are super easy to reach if you have questions. We have no doubt we will visit Villas el Alto again when we are back to GC!

The area, the town, the house, the host Miguel, the pool, the weather, everything was really nice in fontanales.
As I visited in low season, I could choose a room and I could even do a late Check-out for free.
It was a great experience up there in the mountains. See you next time :)

The hosts were very friendly and gave us some tips about things (to do) in the neighbourhood. The accommodation itself was neat, I especially liked how dark the bedroom got at night.
Manouvering the space by car was a bit tricky, but that's not something that can be changed.

The area is so green because its high up and so the clouds come in like a fog. Was a bit chilly at times.
Village shop was hard to find. Its by the church - just look in every open door because it does not look like a supermarket and I walked past it twice thinking it was a government office!

Fontanales beautiful village in the hills and a perfect starting point for hiking or to discover the central-nothern part of the island. Miguel is a helpful and caring host who is always interested in the well-being of his guests. My apartment was small but fully sufficient for a single traveler. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed for making small dishes. The house is quiet and the garden invites for relaxing or doing some work in the sun.

Miguel who is the owner is very nice and helpful.
As we came we were not guided about the television, about garbage , the extra blankets etc. We had always to bother and ask per telephone or per whatsapp and often we got no reply till the next day.. The mattrasses were very uncomfortable, to say the least. The other guests left their windows open after the left, and they hit the wall during the whole night. We couldn't sleep. The guests used to park as they wished without any order, so it was always a challenge to deal with it. It seems the that the hospitality was conducted out of routine and not out of meticulous attention on a daily basis for the well being of the guests. I think we could have had more towels and ours could have been changed. We were there 5 nights.

Pleasant and quite place to spend a vacation. host were super nice and responsive, even gave us a bottle of wine and some recommendations for the area. apartment was clean and cozy, also in the apartment - extra pillows and blankets.
during winter seasons the humidity was quite high and therefore it was harder to warm up the place with the heating system and took a longer time to dry our cloths. would recommend to take slippers with you as the floors can get quite cold during night time.

Our host Miguel was very nice, he went his way to help us! Beautiful surroundings, very quiet. The garden was sunny and a great place to chilling out.

Very friendly and responsive stuff, nice location, comfortable bed, good advices about local hikingtrails. Kitchen with all what you need for simple basic cooking.
As it was a little rainy and cool outside everything inside was getting moist to, especially the shower room needs more ventilation and heating in this season.
