About this house rental

This exquisite property boasts a year-round hot tub situated on an enclosed porch, offering a tranquil retreat to relax after a busy day. The backyard is furnished with a grill, patio furniture, and a fire pit, ideal for hosting gatherings. With five bedrooms, this residence is well-suited for accommodating large groups. It includes two king beds, three queen beds, and a full-size bunk bed, ensuring plentiful sleeping arrangements for all guests.

Home is located directly across from Kesling Park, where you can enjoy tennis courts and a walking trail.

There is a two car garage and a large driveway for plenty of parking.

There are 4 large bedrooms upstairs (2 Kings & 2 Queens) and an additional bedroom in the basement with a Queen bed. There is also a bunk bed in the common area of the finished basement. There is laundry on the 2nd floor. There are two full bathrooms on the second floor, 1/2 bath on the main and 3/4 bath in the basement. The interior has been extensively remodeled. The yard is fenced.

Uber/Lyft is available but very limited.

Prior to your stay, we require you to complete a pre-arrival form, upload a valid driver's license or passport and sign and agree to our rental conditions.

This is a quiet subdivision, so we want to be respectful of our neighbors. No parties. Please keep noise down. There is a security camera at the front door.

We really enjoyed the space and it was so accommodating for our crew that included some chaotic toddler and preschoolers. Plenty of outdoor and indoor space to hang out which was primarily what we were looking for. We loved the park across the street and enjoyed the not too far travel to Lake Michigan. The communication with host was great and quick. Also don't sleep on the La Porte Historical Society - wouldn't take little kids but it was super fun to explore as adults!

The house was extremely perfect for our large group. Plenty of room for all 11 of us. Large rooms, furnished very nicely. Communication with host, quick and easy. The one small downside, for us, was the 10 am check out time. With 11 people, we had to hustle. A+ all the way.

The weekend my group went just so happen to start the same time a blizzard came to town and the host was accommodating by letting us to have an early check in, in an attempt to get through the snow. Good thing we did because it was hard to navigate the side streets during those conditions. However once we were all settle we thoroughly enjoyed the house for our girls trip vision board weekend. Had everything we needed to cook and play games since we had to stay indoors for a long period of time. Everyone slept comfortably for a group of 8 and the host was very communicative throughout the process definitely recommend this place!

This home was perfect for a group of 11. We had plenty of room. The house was very clean and the pictures didn’t do it justice! The only downside was the tv in the room with the hot tub did not work. Otherwise everything was perfect!

House is gorgeous! Much bigger than the photos. The host, Lisa, was quick to reply with any questions or issues we had. The property had everything we needed & would stay again!

Overall the experience was good. One difficulty we faced was bathroom locks on the shared bathroom and the main lobby bathroom wasn't working. However, the owner fixed it on next morning. Another thing I would like to add is if the host could add a game room ( possibly their garage).

The property manager, Lisa, was a delight to work with. She was quick to answer any questions and helped us to get into the property as soon as it was cleaned. The property was clean and roomy. The children enjoyed the fenced back yard and toasted marshmallows in the fire pit. It was wonderful to be able to walk to the park across the street. The beds were comfy and the house was roomy so we could spread out and have a bit of our own space. Thank you for making our reunion extra special.

Small town Indiana charm is embodied in this wonderful house! Our kids were thrilled this was right across the street from a park, and our older kids wanted that independence. The house was spacious and never felt cramped with our friend group. The location was perfect for us, too--just a short drive to state parks and Lake Michigan!

The house echo it was so clean and big. My granddaughter loved her big bed. The house is design for younger people. I had difficulty with the stairs. and shower stall, but got a workout.. My girls walked in their favorite park. Visited all the old places and some new ones. We were out before the heat arrived. We enjoyed the stay. Thank you for offering the house to us.

I am so happy to have found this home! It was absolutely perfect for our girls weekend. Beautiful, clean large home. Great neighborhood across from a park. Only a few minutes from town. Huge back yard, incredibly comfortable beds, clean bathrooms. We all enjoyed staying there!

Perfect for our getaway

This house was perfect for our girls getaway weekend. The living spaces are comfortable and were big enough to accommodate all 5 of us at once without feeling cramped whether we were watching TV or playing games. The kitchen was well stocked with every tool and utensil needed for anything from toasting a bagel to serving a big family style meal. The beds were all very comfortable and all the bedrooms and bathrooms were well appointed with linens and products. We definitely enjoyed having access to the hot tub and being able to use the grill during our stay. Lisa is an amazing host. She is so responsive to questions and inquiries. Her check in and check out processes are so easy. The house is in a great location to easily go into downtown LaPorte or the local wineries. We had such a good time we started talking about dates to come back before we even left. We will definitely be returning. Thank you, Lisa!
