Enjoy the outdoor lifestyle Jindabyne offers, knowing you will come home to style and comfort with this newly re-vamped 4-bed, family friendly home. Sleep in our luxurious bedding, cook a feast with our new and fully equipped kitchen (and brand new BBQ), or relax in the Adirondack chairs while you sip wine and toast marshmallows in the fire pit. We have created a place for our family to have the perfect holiday with everything we need and more, we can't wait to share it with your family. We have a fully fenced backyard safe for well behaved furbabies! And we are excited to have a spa up and running in our backyard to cool off for this spring.

The COMMUNITY

This is a quiet neighbourhood with easy access to the main township of Jindabyne. Let the kids blow off steam as they run around in the fenced back yard, or challenge each other with some of our outdoor games we have totem tennis, grip ball, giant dominoes and a soccer ball to play with.

The house is perfectly set up with everything you need for an outdoor summer holiday or the perfect family snow trip. In the summer you can park on the gravel car park so there is plenty of space to store bikes in the garage. In the winter you park in the garage or use it as a loading dock and keep all your boards and skis in there. We even have a sled in the garage ready for the kids to play with!

The house is an easy drive to the Ski Tube, or 25 minute drive to our favourite place, Thredbo, where an 8am arrival will mean parking and first tracks. For the trip home re-charge with the world's best donuts. We are a short 4 min drive into Jindy or a 15 minute walk.

ABOUT THE HOUSE

The space is a newly revamped and lovingly thought out free standing home. It is perfectly set up for a family holiday.

Drive your car up the drive and park in our enclosed garage, or on the gravel by the side of the house. You can access the house from the front door and garage. There is a laundry and drying room, so all that wet ski gear or dirty and wet clothes can easily move from car to laundry.

On the ground floor you will find the living room with Chrome Cast to stream all your favourite shows, two comfortable lounges and plenty of board games for the kids. The house also has a Google Home Speaker and Wifi.

The kitchen has everything you need to prepare and cook a delicious family meal. We love to cook so you can expect Scanpan pots and pans, a Bodum Coffee plunger and Teapot, a Nespresso machine, beautiful wine glasses and a Cuisinart hand mixer in case you feel like whipping up some afternoon tea. The dining table seats 6-8 very comfortably. There is also a breakfast bar that seats four.

The kitchen and dining are off the lounge and open up to the patio. The lounge has reverse cycle air conditioning. The patio has a brand new BBQ and Adirondack chairs surrounding a fire pit. Enjoy an evening wine while you toast marshmallows and kick back and watch the stars. The ground floor also has a power room at the entry and queen bedroom with TV.

Up the stairs on the first floor are three more bedrooms. The Master with a king bed, balcony with sitting area to enjoy the glorious morning sun and ensuite with shower and toilet. There are also two kids rooms, both with King Single Beds and trundles. Plus a main bathroom with a bath, toilet and shower. We want you to sleep well so expect good quality linen and windows that allows fresh air. We care about the environment so supply bathroom eco friendly amenities made from locally sourced eucalyptus essential oils.

We have plenty to keep the kids entertained from totem tennis, grip ball, giant dominos and plenty of grass! We hope you love this place as much as we do, it's the perfect summer and winter set up.

The house is modern clean and very convenient to the ski resorts and lake Jindabyne. There is everything one would need for a family get together or holiday in the snow or other. The bedding configuration would suit two couples and two adults (or two children ) comfortably. One king, one queen and two king singles (two king singles with trundles)) It was a bit squishy with using the trundles to suit our family of 8 (including one great grandmother and one 2 1-2 year old. Other than that we had a lovely stay and the three toilets and ensuite and bathroom was adequate. Great house for a family trip and we were able to be at the snow within half an hour. We had a great stay, house in great location with good amenities. We enjoyed the spa after a big day out of activities. Only half an hour to ski slopes. Smooth check in and check out process. Will definitely be back.

Our family were very comfortable here, we enjoyed the outdoor spa, bbq and indoor and outdoor games. The house was clean and comfortable and communication with the owners was excellent.

Property was clean, comfortable and as described. The inclusions of the hot tub and fire pit were great. The backyard had ample space for our pet. It was a couple of minutes drive to the Centre of the town and the lake. Overall, great stay and would highly recommend.

Sadly no coffee pods or wood for the fire and initial attraction had been jacuzzi which was not working (though we had been warned about this)

Property is a little small to host 8 people as compared with other properties in the area. There were only two split system air conditioners, one located in the family room downstairs and the other in the master bedroom upstairs. There were no heating options for any of the other rooms which meant these rooms were left cold. The bedding arrangements to hold 8 guest meant trundles had to be used in two of the rooms, the only issue was the rooms were so small the trundles barely fit and meant you could not operate wardrobe or walk around the bed. When we checked in the recycling bin was over filled and spilling out (most likely from the guests prior) this was raised with the owner immediately, but nothing was done about it. As such the next day winds blew dirty rubbish and glass bottles everywhere which meant we were left trying to tidy the place. Also on the first day we arrived we could smell something off in the upstairs bedroom which we soon worked out was vomit from the stains on the floor. We again raised this with the owner but nothing was done. We requested to have access to open the windows to let some fresh air into the room to help with the smell but no access was provided. Overall it was a shame on the few things that let this property down. Would recommend keeping guest below 6 if you plan on staying here & bring your own heaters!
