Gwenhen is a charming apartment located in Courseulles-sur-Mer. Located in front of the port and with a sublime sea view, its 60 m² well arranged will be able to accommodate up to 5 people.
You will have a large and luminous living room with a lounge and a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, a bathroom and a loggia with a splendid sea view to relax after a busy day!
Private parking. Bed linen and towels extra.

The apartment :
Located on the 3rd floor without lift, the apartment is composed as follows:

- A beautiful and bright living room with a sitting area equipped with a sofa and armchairs, a coffee table, a TV and a dining area with a dining table that can accommodate up to 4 guests.
- A kitchen open to the living room, fully equipped: refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, gas hob, microwave, kettle, Tassimo pod coffee maker.
- Bedroom 1: a Queen-Size bed.
- Bedroom 2: a bunk bed: double bed underneath and single bed above
- A bathroom with a shower, a washbasin, a washing machine and free toiletries.
- Separate toilet.

Outside:
- A loggia of about 7 m² with a superb view of the port and the sea, without opposite. It is arranged with a table and a bench of outside.

This apartment has a splendid sea view and a direct access to the beach of the city. Accessible on foot, you will find in the city center various shops, restaurants and a market!

- Caen train station at 26 km (34 minutes by car) and Bretteville - Norrey (27 minutes by car).
- Caen - Carpiquet airport located at 27,2 km (33 minutes by car).

- Free parking spaces are available in the residence's parking lot.
- The keys will be handed over at the Terre de Nacre concierge agency - 11 Quai Est, 14470 Courseulles-sur-Mer
- Sheets and towels are provided on request from the concierge. Sheets : 15 € / bed ; towels : 6 € / person ; tea towel : 2 € / unit ; bath mat : 3 € / unit

Gwenhen "🙂 Fabulous view over the port. You get the sun in the morning as you have breakfast. A short walk to a local bakery and the bulk of the restaurants. Very comfortable and well-equipped. 🙁 You need to be aware it's on the top floor of the apartment block and there is no lift. That's fine but it's a bit of a pain getting luggage up and down. No access to the basement means it's difficult to safely store bikes."

Gwenhen "Great view. 🙂 The view was great with a little sun deck that opens to the harbour lock. A lovely little town. It is so worth it to have a view of the ocean and the boats. It is a busy little sea port. The apartment is great and can fit a large family. Wash machine came in handy. There is a dish washer too but we didn't use it. We rented a car and had a great time exploring the north of France. It was nice to be in a smaller village with such nice people. I recommend this location. 🙁 I wish we had stayed longer."

Arrived at car park barrier, but opening key with apartment key in keysafe on 3rd floor apartment door. Also discovered there was no elevator as promised on website apartment deails. Both my wife and I are in our 80s so found this daunting to say the least (54 stairs). On complaining to management company Book and Pay they denied the promise of an elevator until I texted them a screenshot of the website apartment description. We vacated the apartment 3 days early and asked for some compensation. Book and Pay response was that they were unable to confirm our leaving from the local conciergerie and so were not prepared to compensate us. This was despite going to the conciergerie office and handing over the apartment key to a member of staff on the morning we left. The apartment was fine and the location was excellent but it seems unlikely at the moment that we wil be using VRBO again anyime soon.
