About this house rental
Richly remodeled historic home in a great location. Decorated so well you will feel like you are in a model home. Master is on the main floor. Two bedrooms and a bath on the upper level. Large living room with TV. Outdoor space with a patio. The Kitchen has all appliances and is stocked with small appliances too like toaster, coffee pot and microwave. Home has wifi.
This is the right side of a huge home, each side has 1800 sq ft. This is side "Z", the one closest to the driveways. It sleeps 7 people, the left side, side B, sleeps 10. If you need the entire home, both sides, please inquire requesting that.

This is a great property, nice and clean and lots of space. Well equipped kitchen. All the main attractions in KC were within 15 minute drive. We had a great stay!!

Everything was as expected except the transition between the kitchen and eating area. My wife actually tripped and fell into dining table and chair. As a remodeling contractor, I am not sure how to correct situation other than making it a longer transition.(more gradual) Compared to the other VRBO's our family rented for this wedding, we liked this one the best.

The cutest home!
One bedroom was on a different floor than the rest for a lil separation if you want it. Living room was comfy & cozy. Neighborhood was quiet and nice except for the train.
There is a train somewhere that travels all hours of day and night so every now and then we heard the train. I am a light sleeper so it woke me up every night for a few moments then I went back to sleep. But what are you gonna do about a whole train? Honestly, even with that, I would stay here again because...
The host was EXCELLENT. We had a couple of mishaps with some water and they were responsive and addressed it right away. It was an unwelcome situation and inconvenient but we have to stop expecting life to happpen as planned, especially when you own a home. Things happen. It's not about what happened, its about how they handled it and we were patient and positive so it didn't ruin our experience.
House was generally clean and if it wasnt clean enough for certain OCD types, they left some cleaning supplies that helped us take care of little things that were more of a preference thing. Some people need that!
I appreciate that every room didn't have a TV which encouraged more together time. And we could watch TV without having to login to our streaming accounts which was a huge plus.
The house is beautifully renovated. We felt welcomed & appreciated & that is what matters most. GREAT HOSTS!
We would definitely stay here again!

Really enjoyed our stay. House was very clean, quiet and it was in the middle of everything near. Stores, Grocery, Food and the Stadium. I will definitely be booking at this place again in the near future.

This home was the perfect stay for three couples. My parents in law took the main level bedroom and the other two couples used the upstairs bedrooms. Easy on and off to various KC communities. The host communicated quickly and had some personal touches like snacks and water for our group. We would be happy to stay here again on a return visit.

Very clean house. Exactly as advertised. Nothing to complain about at all. It was about a five minute drive from the freeway making it very accessible, while still close to things in Independence. At night you could regularly hear trains passing by, but they did not bother me.

We stayed here with another couple and our kids. The home was incredibly clean and well updated. We had plenty of room and the home had a good supply of cookware as well as extra towels and blankets. The property manager was quick to respond and provided all the details and information we needed. We would indeed stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay here. Only problem we had and it is expected was it sounded like a war was going on every night. This was July 4th weekend. Fireworks died down around midnight. Everything else was ok. Location close enough to the city without all the city crime.

Size of house was good for as many girls as we had, we were in town for a softball tournament. Plenty of towels and blankets which was nice. Bedrooms and walk in closets that were great for storage of luggage and putting dirty clothes. Kitchen had basic items for simple cooking, but no extras like spices or anything like that, but that isn’t a huge deal. Weather was warm and humid so the upstairs was definitely warmer than down, maybe having a small fan available would be nice for summer? We kept the air down and ceiling fans on upstairs which helped. Overall the place was cute and the beds were comfortable, was clean upon arrival and I’m super picky about that. Was so nice to have a washing machine and dryer for doing laundry and keeping up on clean uniforms! My only recommendations are amenities that would have been a nice touch: extra paper towels, two ply toilet paper, filled soap dispensers, extra dish soap. Loni was super quick to respond if I had a question. Overall we had a great time and liked the house, I’d stay again!

It worked out great. It was clean, pleasant, convenient and welcoming. Step down from dining to living room could use a rail or ramp for safety reasons, but overall everything was great. 💕

This place was great! Very close to downtown with lots to see and do. House was very clean, had everything we needed and plenty of space for our family. Check in and out was a breeze. Would definitely stay here again.

We rented this property for the week while visiting family in the KC area. Independence was a perfect centralized location, and this property was great for our needs. It was clean, modern, spacious, and well-kept! The price for the week seemed reasonable, and host was responsive to questions. Our kids loved the KC sports bedroom (and also the day-bed and trundle).

This is a great little house! It was clean and quiet with all the amenities that we needed. Perfect location if you're headed to Arrowhead and close enough to Downtown KC, shopping and dining! Loni was great to work with and very accommodating, as our family was coming in from multiple locations. We look forward to visiting again in 2023 for another Chiefs game! (Earlier in the season tho, as our blood is thin since living in the Bahamas and we didn't do as well in the below freezing temps!)

When we arrived the location was a little sketchy but when we pulled up and went in is was so clean and nicely updated. I didn't realize there was someone that stays on the other side, but we didn't even know they were there. The only downfall was the bathroom size, It was super small to be a master bath. Other than that it was a very nice place to stay. We stayed there because our daughter's wedding was nearby. If we needed to stay there again we might.

Beautiful historic home, wonderful manager
This is the best, and cleanest!!, VRBO we have ever stayed in. It was impeccably clean on our move in, and provided all the needed essentials to start our stay (paper towels, toilet paper, coffee, etc). It is a beautifully remodeled property with a very kind, responsive manager and owner. The other half of the unit is a long-term tenant, a very kind family.

Sisters quilting weekend
Very nice house! We met in the middle from 3 different states. Comfortable, clean, easy layout for what we were doing! LOTS of fun quilting shops within a short distance! Excellent access to movies to watch while we sewed! Plenty of plug ins! Very nice appliances, including washer and dryer. A bit short if you are going to bake- no measuring spoons or cups but plenty of dishes and pots and pans and we easily made due. We absolutely would go back!
It was a bit hard to find in the dark.. it is the back side of the house and the front porch and main entrance to house looked very lived in.. could not see the house number in the dark.

We enjoyed the stay. Beautiful house and cozy for the family. It was close to everything about 20-30 minutes to the city and only 8-10 minutes away from the stadiums.
