The cabin was very clean. Kitchen was well equipped. The beds comfortable. Location was great. I think it is the best deal for the area.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It is out of the way far enough that we didn’t have to deal with crowds or traffic unless we went to Jackson or to Yellowstone, which we did. But being away from these things was relaxing. The cabin was comfortable, clean and had all the space we needed. The kitchen was well equipped, we grilled out some of the evenings we were there. We had few reasons to interact with the hosts but they were very responsive when we did.

The property was wonderful! The set up is perfect and it met all of our needs. We loved the comfortable chairs and the WIFI was easy to use and you had everything a person needs in a kitchen to fix a meal!! We brought everything from a fryer to a crock pot and you had everything. We loved it all!! Everything was clean and easy to access. It is a beautiful location and close for us to ride the ATV trails. The greatest place we have ever stayed.

Beautiful property and accommodations! Our host sent a very detailed communication about the areas ATV and snowmobile trails which was much appreciated. Though we didn’t get a chance this trip to use it, there was a lovely fire pit area in the back and a well stocked wood pile. The accommodation itself was well stocked with all the necessities for cooking, etc. The owner even offered the use of the garage if needed!
I would definitely rate this owner as a premiere host!

Dubois, WY is a perfect location to drive towards adventure destinations. Yellowstone, Tetons, Jackson Hole, Thermopolis, Cody…
This cabin we stayed in was a beautiful spot, with cut logs for the fireplace, a nice garage to put your vehicle, and great set up for family memories. They have snowmobile rentals!!
The town has a few places to eat, and the military museum is high quality. Deer walk up and down the main streets without fear. People here in the mountains are very happy & grateful to meet for insight (where you’re from and where you’re going).
Only downside would be the road up the mountain to the cabin is scary with drivers being careless, and the camera when you get in the cabin is directly above the dinner table(,but can be unplugged)
Priceless memories.Thx so very much

A great house and a perfect stay to enjoy the sights of Wyoming. We got to enjoy nature and the nice open space! A bit of a drive from bigger tourist areas, but knew that in advance and was worth it! Road to house is up a mountain, but we were able to navigate it. The whole family enjoyed exploring and also just relaxing at the house which was a perfect place pleasant and all the feelings of home. Great communication with the hosts too and helped us with anything we needed!

The drive up Union Pass was an adventure and the views breath taking as you climb up the mountain to the cabin. We were a bit surprised as we did not expect the elevation. The cabin itself was great. Darren and Diane have just about everything you need. We made some wonderful memories. The cabin sits very near Shoshone National Forest with hundreds of trail miles for riding and we took full advantage of renting utvs from Union Pass Rentals. They were very nice and helpful, providing information on trail options and key destinations. Cowboy Cafe in Dubois is a definite recommendation, especially the pie!

Everything was well organized and clean. Felt right at home as soon as we arrived. Takes a bit to actually reach the property but really enjoy the remote feeling. Wasn't too far from the hiking we wanted to do.

The cabin is located 5 miles up the mountain and the road is dusty with many switchbacks but wide and passable. The location was great for us to home base to travel to Dubois/Grand Teton/Yellowstone and Jackson Hole. Great views from the cabin and on the road up and down the mountain. Crooked creek ranch is located very close to the cabin at the top of the mountain and has a great restaurant and bar that we frequented often.

What a great pick for a Wyoming stop over. One day on side by side rented down the road, great restaurant within walking distance. Dubois is a neat community. Great tour of Military Museum. Beautiful contryside. Great directions from owner. Try a pie at Cowboy cafe.

The property itself was excellent the amenities were very well put together the owners obviously had great experience and everything you need it was at hand my only complaint is that after the initial advertise price yet on fees almost doubled the amount that it should’ve cost to stay there they should be made evidence upfront when you make the listing other than that I would stay there again it was really nice experience

Our family of 8 really enjoyed this cabin. It was our base camp for exploring the Grand Tetons. Our family said it was their favorite rental house so far. It was about 1 1/2 hours to the 2 trails we explored (Jenny Lake- Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point, Bradley/Taggart Lake). The drive between the cabin and Grand Tetons has amazing views of its own. The cabin is at a pretty high altitude (8,000 ft.), which was wild for our family who lives in Georgia at about a max of 1,000 ft. One thing to keep in mind in the summer is that there is no AC. The first 2 nights were fine. The kids left the windows upstairs opened, but the last night that wasn’t enough. This cabin is bigger than it looks in pictures. Our girls ages 12,18,20 and 21 all shared a room upstairs that has 2 full size beds. Our 2 sons ages 16 shared the other upstairs room that had 3 twin beds. There is a tiny loft area that has a futon that can pullout if needed. There is also a full bath upstairs. The living room had enough couch space for all of us, which we don’t always find. There is another room downstairs with a full bed and twin bed. There is a full bathroom down stairs with washer and dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped. We were pleased to even find a blender for making smoothies and a griddle to make pancakes. We used the grill on the porch 2 of the nights. The only thing missing is outdoor seating like a picnic table. We saw a momma deer and baby deer every day a couple of times walking by.

We could of stayed longer
Heavenly
The cabin was absolutely stunning and in the perfect location
Worked out great for the 2 families we had up stairs with the kids and my best friend had the downstairs
It was full of amenities everything you could possibly need and the location was just beautiful I could just sit there all day and look outside
Communication with owners was excellent
The only negative was the high cleaning fee and the extra VRBO fees but otherwise it was a excellent stay
Thank you

Quiet and clean
This cabin was far enough away from society as we hoped. The stars at night were magnificent. Very clean and instant communication with the host when needed. Our family of 9 was very comfortable.

Remote and Comfortable Cabin
We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were comfortable, the kitchen met our needs and it was clean. We were pleasantly surprised by a curious mule deer peering in the window one day. We also saw 5 fox kits playing by a nearby den. This cabin was one in a row of rental cabins fairly close together, but it was quiet day and night, we rarely saw anyone else. This home is located pretty high up and there is a long, windy gravel road. The views while driving were beautiful (but made my husband a bit nervous). We were glad to have an AWD SUV. It takes about 15 min to get up or down back to the main road/highway. But up near the top close to this cabin is a business called Union Pass Rentals where ATVs can be rented by the day, and we had fun doing that. The instructions to take our trash to a nearby business didn’t work bc they no longer have a dumpster, so be aware that you will need to drive your trash to the bottom of the mountain and use the dumpsters by the cement company unless something has changed. Overall, it was a very peaceful stay and we were able to relax and enjoy the area nature.
