we loved the property..house was even better than the pics.. very well stocked, very clean and nicely furnished.. very large nice garage as well. The only issue which is minor was the check in at property management location.. not only having to go the their office, but tried to get early check in but even though the house was ready, they wanted $100 for early check in before 3pm.. so had to go back to mgmt office at 3pm.. also, check out at 10am was a little early...

The house was wonderful to stay at. We all had our own spaces and there was plenty to do and a lot of room to store our food and belongings. The only difficult part about staying at this property is you have to check in by 5:30 pm and you have to have a four-day stay. We had to rush up the mountain as soon as the kids got out of school to make it. This may our travels a bit stressful. However, once we got there it was quiet, but close enough to town to be able to do whatever we wanted. We also had to haul our trash, as there is no trash service. So if you stay here, be prepared to do so.

Hello, overall everything was great, however we would recommend the sofas (in the living room and in the small room) to be changed as they were both very dirty and old. We have stayed at this house many times in the passed 7 years and the furniture has been the same. We hope to be back but to a cleaner sofas. Thank you!

I recently stayed here in February 2023 for the second time with my big family, and the property was as beautiful as we remembered it. We stayed at Hidden Estate 3 years ago before the pandemic. The new folks at Socal Vacations management were really helpful when checking us in, and allowed an early check-in which was great. It was easy finding them in their downtown street location.
The estate had lots of room for all of us and was really clean. We all had our own space to sleep and relax. The TV room was big and comfy, and the secondary living room had a fireplace and a TV. There was no shortage of places to hang out.
The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and eat meals. It was really well stocked with quality cookware and tableware. There was a big table for us to sit around and eat together. Outside, the cabin was surrounded by trees and we could play and have fun in the snow. We used the grill to cook some food outside and the outdoor spa was nice and hot for relaxing.
The Hidden Estate is perfect for big families who want to spend quality time together. There was a water pressure issue, but the management sent over a plumber afterward and made things right with us. We would definitely reconsider staying here again since they made those fixes!

We loved this comfortable and spacious house with a wonderfully stocked kitchen. The kids loved the hot tub, scrabble wall, fooseball table and pool table. We’d love to stay again.

Stayed with a few friends for a golf weekend/getaway. Perfect house for that. Lots of rooms so nobody sleeps on the couch. House was clean, had everything we could have needed, and I have zero complaints about the house. Only minor gripe would be that the check-in process requires you go to their office in downtown and fill out all the same paperwork you already did online. It's inconvenient, but the people are super nice and were great with co-ordinating around our plans to make it work. We look forward to returning here one day.

Even better in person, such an amazing house perfect for a large group :)
This property was everything we had hoped and wished for! It looked even better in person than it did online. The management was super easy to contact and very responsive. The home was beautiful, clean, updated and had all of the amenities needed for a fun weekend getaway. We had a large group and everyone was comfortably accommodated. Highly recommend and would totally stay here again! Thanks for everything!!

Beautiful home
This was a perfect house for our girls weekend. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. The property manager was quick to reply to our texts. The only thing that we were disappointed with was that the amenities had air conditioning listed but it was not central air, rather a few free standing air conditioning machines. It took awhile to cool such a big house on a hot weekend. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Perfect space for our long weekend!
We brought a group of friends up for a 40th birthday party. It was a wonderful house, exactly as pictured. The layout was excellent for a large group as there were plenty of spaces for small groups to gather as well as the whole group to be together for meals or games.

Unfortunate issue NO HOT WATER for 26 hours.
My family & I have a winter family trip to Big Bear yearly. This year we stood at the Hidden Estate and found the house to be beautiful & just like the pictures. It was a great fit for a large family of 16.
The morning of check in we were expecting to receive the address “shortly” as told in a text message with Wow Rentals instead I had to contact them again late afternoon to receive the address which delayed our check in time from 4pm to 5:30pm. On our second day I had asked to receive more supplies for the house and took hours to get a response. Needless to say they are not great at communicating when though they say to contact them for any needs.
Later on our second night after 8pm as our kids were in the middle of their shower the water to the showers SHUT OFF COMPLETELY. I contacted Wow Rentals and their response was “given its Big Bear and the weekend we will see what we can do, we will send someone out tomorrow morning”. We were WITHOUT RUNNING HOT WATER for 26 hours. In this timeframe they sent out 2 plumbers to see what the issue was however the concern of Wow Rentals was poor. They NEVER checked on us, showed any empathy for this huge inconvenience, and when I contacted them for updates they could only say “given it Big Bear and the weekend we are trying our best”.
Our plans were ruined for those 26 hours as we couldn’t have our kids in the snow all day not knowing we would be able to shower them in hot water. We weren’t told if it could be fixed within a timeframe. No one even told us when the plumbers were there fixing the problem as the issue was located on the side of the house. It was to our surprise that at one point the water issue was fixed and we had running hot water for our last 12 hours at that house.
Their response at the end was it happened because there was too many people using water at once, as it was our fault. That is the most ridiculous reasoning for that issue. How is a house that can accommodates 16 people but can’t handle all their 4 showers to be used at the same time.
Overall Wow Rentals is NOT a great company to deal with in any situation when it comes to problems with the property. I understand we as customers sign a contract however RUNNING HOT WATER is not an amenity it’s a NECESSITY especially in winter. The amount of inconsideration, lack of empathy, and ignorance with this situation will keep us from ever dealing with houses that Wow Rentals manages.

Great for large groups needing many rooms & outdoor fun
Overall, the house was great and exactly what we needed for our large group in the way of bedrooms, bathrooms, dining area, parking and living space. The highlight of this property (during snow months) is the private sledding hill - our group of all ages from infants to 70 year olds had a blast leveraging the outdoor areas of this property. Unfortunately, we had a few issues which hinder a 5-star review: 1) dishwasher broken and unable to be fixed by property management, 2) house alarm beeping loudly every few minutes throughout the house and unable to be fixed by property management, 3) no dish towels, and when we asked for these to be delivered since we were without a dishwasher, they delivered ONE dish towel, 4) issues with many of the TVs and the remotes working, 5) some areas of the house not cleaned (hair on shower walls upon arrival, cobwebs, etc.). So, all of these issues are easily addressable by property management. The house itself is great. Another recommendation would be to add a second refrigerator in the garage given the size of this house and average number of guests per stay. We would stay here again if we the issues mentioned above were addressed.

Perfect Getaway
The property was everything described. The kids spent all day sledding in the back yard and then relaxed watching movies in the movie room. Great time. Would definitely stay again.

Great stay!!! Will be back!
My family and I had a great time! Everything was updated/clean and it was such a cozy home. We have young kids, so having the private sledding hill really made our trip. We definitely will be back next year!! Just a note, being a larger home the temperature wasn’t consistent across some of the bedrooms, some colder or too hot. Also we stayed in the master room which was a comfortable bed & accommodations but my family did make comments that some of the guest beds were uncomfortable. Other than that, everything was perfect! Great stay and location!

Overall the property was nice. The hot tub didn’t work and the property management company was accommodating. The hot tub is outside, not inside as seen in the pictures. A couple of The beds were uncomfortable, but overall we did enjoy the property.
