Secluded CABIN IN THE WOODS at Nolin Lake. Property is close to Mammoth Cave. Spacious 3 bedroom cabin, inviting living space, a large dining table, large tv with wifi! Enjoy the incredible views of the property from either of the two large decks. The rear porch is covered and screened to ensure you enjoy your stay regardless of the weather. The area has so much to offer with no shortage of things to do. Nolin Lake State Park is just a short walk away. The park offers hiking a boat ramp, swimming beach, and fishing access. If you're looking for adventure, you'll find Nolin Lake, Mammoth Cave National Park, the Brier Creek Hiking/Biking Trail, and the Blue Holler Off-Road Park all just minutes away. The circle drive makes it easy to get trailers in and out. When it's time to unwind, you can relax with family and friends in the open living/dining area with a sectional sofa or sit outside around the firepit. We loved the property except it was farther from Mammoth Cave than we anticipated. Our kids loved the games and proximity to the lake for swimming. Thanks for a great stay!

This property was so clean, accommodating, and had so many things to do, we didn’t even want to leave the cabin! The Nolin State Park beach is so close, and my kids loved it! Thank you, Steve for being awesome, and providing such a beautiful space for us to make fun memories!

“We had an unforgettable stay at this charming lakeside cabin! The serene location provided the perfect escape, and the thoughtful touches from the property owner made it even more special. Our group of eight, including four adults, grandparents, and two young boys, felt right at home. The kids were overjoyed with the selection of toys and books thoughtfully provided by the owner. We’ll definitely be returning!”

This property was super clean with comfortable beds! Was fairly close to Mammoth Cave! Check out the Blue Hollar! Cute little local restaurant close by! Only con was internet service was terrible, but most likely to location in the mountains! If you want to go to Lake Nolin it's a very short drive up the street! My dog loved swimming in the lake!

We chose Mammoth Cave as a meeting point to see family friends. It is gorgeous in the springtime. Mammoth Cave is a 40-minute drive away and definitely worth it. Nolin Park is right outside the doors and the lake is just down the street. Great location, a very clean cabin, and beautiful surroundings. We had a great time.

We stayed for a long weekend and had an enjoyable, relaxing time. My 11 and 13 year old stayed off their phones and played board games and cards, which is always a win as far as I’m concerned. We enjoyed the screened in porch and the fire pit while we listened to music and enjoyed the scenery. The walk to Nolin State Park took just a few minutes, and we enjoyed hiking the trails (even in the mud). Host let us know right away to contact him if we needed anything, but the property had everything we needed. We did struggle to figure out the tv in the main bedroom, but that’s probably for the best. We didn’t need tv! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property!

We had a great time with our grandkids at this rental. Owner was wonderful to work with and so accommodating. We all loved the screened porch and fire pit area. We enjoyed the trails down at Nolin lake state park. We spent time at Mammoth Cave, a day of ziplining and challenge course at Mammoth Adventure. Great fall get away.

This house in Nolin Lake State Park was great! We had many kids and they all enjoyed all the games, fire pit, and land area that was provided. Our dog also loved the space. The house was as shown and very clean. Towels, appliances, tvs , utensils were all provided for us. Our whole family loved the house. Nolin Lake was gorgeous and so was Mammoth Cave!

We will definitely be back, this cabin just has a Home feeling to it. Minutes from Nolin Lake and minutes from Blue Holler offroad park. Just can't beat it!!!

The house was just as described and close to the water. There is a small beach area within walking distance and the marina is 15 minutes away. The house was cozy and worked well for us. We loved the screened in patio, and sat out there almost a full evening enjoying the secluded nature of the home.

Property was perfect for our group. Walking distance to beach & 2 hiking trails. Large front yard for our pups & young grandkids to explore safely. Fire pit & screened in porch was perfect. We had a large group and had plenty of room. A secluded nice home. Its to bad KY does not offer a recycle can for home owners. No toaster, 1 bathroom but we survived! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We enjoyed our stay. It took us a while to figure out the light switches and plugins in the living room, but after sending the owner a message, it was fine. There isn't any level yard space for kids to play outside, but the beach nearby provides plenty of fun! The location is pretty far away from restaurants, so make sure you bring food. Most of the local restaurants and stores close very early (8 or 9pm) so plan accordingly!

The location was secluded and relaxing. Short walk or drive to the lake and beach area. The teens enjoyed playing games and talking around the fire pit. The only downside for us was the beds- the mattresses were harder than our liking.

The cabin and property are wonderful! Pics don't do it justice. Beautiful surroundings,, well-stocked kitchen, and comfortable furnishings.. Convenient to Mammoth Cave National Park and is adjacent to a sweet little state park, Nolin Lake. Steve went above and beyond with communication and problem solving. Highly recommend!

It’s a nice place to stay close to Lake Nolan. There is a beach swimming area and trails down the road. The back porch is nice and quiet where you can escape from those in the house. We had 4 adults and 5 kids so have one bathroom was challenging, but we made it through! Visitor center to mammoth cave is about 35 min away (where cave tours start). It was drought conditions when we went so waterfalls were dried up.

Everything was great starting from the correspondence with Steve , easy check in process and he was very thorough with guidelines . I had a issue where I needed to leave my camper & boats nearby and he had the recommendations and solutions to those issues also . The property is minutes from the State park and walking distance to the beach area. The house was very clean , larger than expected and had a vacation aura that got our family perfectly. Will definitely come back ! Thanks Steve for adding to Honey n Popples memories with the kids n grandkids !

It was cozy, near Nolin lake and not far from Mamoth Cave; there is a cute mom/pop eatery five minutes away (The Blue Hollar). I’d stay here again absolutely, and highly recommend you stay here. :)

The cabin was lovely, the back screened in porch and fire pit were perfect for what we were looking for! The home was clean and the host was very responsive! Only downside was it was a bit further away from Mammoth Cave National Park than I expected. Not a deal breaker, but if you’re visiting to do cave tours know it is about a 40 min drive. If you’re looking to enjoy nature and relax this rental is a great place to do that!
